Ukaia nodded and walked carefuolly to a couch sliding tomo down onto it then covering him up and kissing his cheek she looked at Lily then sat down exaustedly near her
"I'm selfish" she said quietly
"That's why i didn't remember right away.. when i strted to get peices' she said

Arlen came back a minute later with a new pair of pants, still blushing slightly. "Do you need help carrying Tomo, Ukaia?"

"Ukaia is not carrying anyone right now." Lily told Arlen, looking pointedly at the neko's pointed feet. "Could you heal them please?" Then she turned to Ukaia, looking somewhat puzzled. "You're not selfish... why would you say that?"

Ukaia sighed
"I am selfish" she said quietly
"Some part of me.. knew.. knew that with my memory gone he'd come back. It hurt.. because i was fighting to remember.. fighting to stay not right.. And then he came.. and i fought to stay that way" she said looking only at the fire
"i just.. i wanted him.. to stay.. and he won't.. because i'm alright now" she whispered quietly

"He'll stay." Lily told Ukaia softly, then shot Vincent a glare. "If he doesn't, I'll hunt him down and roast him. You're not selfish to want to be with someone you love."

Ukaia shut her eyes and shook he rhead
"you dont' force somone you love to stay.. not when they don't want to.. or cant"; she said. Remembering his inability to speak of what he was doing
"it jsut hurt so much.. i jsut.. i wanted.. " she said then hid her face in her hands her shoulders shaking alittle
"All.. i wanted was him.. the nighmears.. i can't sleep.. not for longer then 15 minuits at a time.. and thos.. thos " he rvoice broke as she let out everything finally
"those are filed with the nightmears. I can't do it alone. i needed him.. i'm completely.. alone.. " she said her hands pressing harder trying to stop the flow of tears
"and he.. he dosne't know.. and i can't.. be a burdon.. he'll leave for good!

"You have your memories back? That's great," Arlen said smiling. "I'll start with these rocks then," he said, gently pulling the ones he could find out. Arlen frowned as he overheard her and Lily's conversation.

Lily sighed and wrapped her arms around Ukaia, biting her lower lip. "If you want to know, Uka, why he left... I could find out. It would take a little digging, but... I could do it. That way... that way you'll know if he has to leave again. But I really don't think he will... and you're not alone." she added, rubbing the other female's ears.

Ukaia didn't even feel as Arlen pulle dout the rocks. her feet were completely numb with cold. she wrapped her arms around lilly sobbing soflty
"i am alone' she said
"I have no owner.. I have no real family.. my onii san hates being a neko.. or looking like one.. everyone has somone.. i can't.." she stuttered her body shaking more as she clung to lilly.. letting out the hurt in soft sobs.. still.. very nearly silent.. to afraid of waking anyone to let the noise out
"Everything that i was.. is.. is gone..""

Lily looked at the neko in her arms helplessly... and suddenly was very, very angry with Vincent. Rather mercilessly, she shoved her memories of this conversation into him, knowing he'd be forced to relive it on waking. "Shhh... it's okay. I'm your family, Uka. Cerri considered you her sister... well, so do I. And Mister Tomo loves you... anyone could see that. You have a place here. Don't forget that..."

Arlen sighed, having gotten the last rock out he started to heal the feet themselves, his white flame warming them at the same time as they healed. He wanted to hold Ukaia too, but he was busy healing her feet. Beeing completely alone was something he could relate too, and he hoped that Ukaia didn't really feel that way.
