Shade smiled "you might say he is ... special prey" she said. Shade jumped down from the table "Could not get where they are going, but they are looking for, papers of some sort" she said.
Meanwhile, Skotti ran with the others but lagged behind. Skotti coughed and hacked "*hack hack* s**t! *cough* you all go on.." he said stopping to rest as he took out a cigarette. "Damn you" he said to the stick.

Twi looked stunned.
"I gotta intercept them... that's the KGBO. I was sent to steal documents, and a clumsy group brought one of their skirmishes to HQ while I was there. if they follow the trail they'll make it back to one of the hideouts. there are civilians there, wounded... this is bad. and Skotti's back, so you know they'll be efficient -- if rash."
he grabbed his cane and set his pool stick down.
"I used to be part of that squad, before my Vampire nature was discovered... if you're connected to Skotti, maybe we can work together." he offered. "I'll meet you again at my mansion later."
he wrote down an address to the Durem door to his home. then, he headed out the back door and climbed the fire-ladder to get to the roof. he needed a high vantage point.
((the Durem Door will be pretty much on a brick wall in an alley. Twi bought the alley itself.))

Mandi stumbled down the road to a gathering of shops and buildings. She looked around to see if there was a place she could find a phone and call Skotti.
No, I'd draw too much attention going into a shop. If Lila has anything planned, it could be big. No use exposing the gang. Maybe the pool hall over there? Ruffians visit them all the time. I wouldn't look amiss with my bruises...
Mandi stopped to cough and doubled over in pain from her injuries.

Twi noticed the familiar face come into view and collapse in what looked like agony. she seemed very bruised and scratched.
he hopped down and raced to her side.
"good gods, Mandi... you look like hell!" he grunted softly to her. "what happened to you?"

Mandi struggled to stand once more. " Just some t**t. Blew up my car and all. Where the Hell did you come from, Twi? Also, you wouldn't happen to have seen some gangly whore running about, would ya? About my height, looks like she's been in a fight. Y' know? Crazy b***h."

"I was actually looking for Skotti just now.... wait, did you say about your hight, and beat up like you?"
Twi's complexion got a little bit paler again.
"I gotta bad feeling about this... look, Mandi, I need you to trust me. Skotti's in danger. and I need to find him. The Don's gone mad."

"Yeah. Goes by the name Lila, codename The Shade. Why? What do you know?" Mandi was worried, "I can't help you find Skotti, he left with some others a while ago. I'm looking for him myself. I tried calling him, but my phone was broken earlier during an assassination attempt on me"

Skotti ducked into a nearby ally to radio the gang. After he stopped to smoke e lost track of them. "Blasted thing wont work" he said hitting his radio.
"Skotti!" called out a voice to him. Skotti's spine tingled after he heard the voice. "Lila..." he said, looking up at his former mistress. "I told you we were over lila, I don't wanna see you right now" he said. "But skotti! I am here only as a team mate and a KGBO member, I have something for you" she said, tossing a piece of paper on the ground. Skotti picked it up and read it.What the devil is this..."]he said.
"Why, this is a note I got from your beloved wife! I snagged it off her after she had met with the leader of the vampire group terrorizing the group, I believe you remember twilight?" she said as skotti looked up at her.
"mandi would never..." said skotti as the shade interrupted "She was so angry when I visited, it's clear she wanted the KGBO destroyed and you... well, killed, I heard she shared some words with you back at the HQ?" she said.
Skotti paused "killed? I... no, are you saying?" skotti was confused. "She is clearly not in her right mind skotti dear... you have no choice, you must kill her before she ruins the gang, it is your duty!" said the shade. "No! I cant!" yelled skotti. "You know she is a threat... you must put the gang first, it's what you agreed to, you belive me dont you?" she manipulated.
Skotti's brow furrowed and he became angry "I know what I have to do... I must protect the many over the few..." he said.

"this gets more ******** up every minute..." he muttered.
he looked back at her, taking his shades off. his eyes were deep and full of sorrow and worry.
"this time, Mandi, I realy have betrayed the Kuro Gang... I joined the Vampire Rebellion. I'm the one who stole the documents. but I didn't mean for this to happen..."
he shook his head in guilt.
"if Skotti and the others find the trail it'll lead them to a hideout. there are wounded in there; Vampires who have been serving the Kuro Gang and being played like pawns, and the Humans and Werewolves who have been helping them fight back against the injustice. I can't let them find that hideout. but I promise you, Skotti will safe if I stop them. it's part of the deal I have with ... her..." he trailed off, looking away.

"Twi, you will have to answer for this, you know that, right? I will help you protect the innocents, but this is a grey area I cannot venture into as a member. I don't know how or if she has gotten Skotti tangled in this, but at least we agree he needs to be found." She didn't know what to say of the betrayal, but with lives on the line, she couldn't exactly give a full inquisition. "Look, do you know where she is? Lila?"

"she'll be at my mansion later. but we have to hurry. can you walk?"
he looked around desperately, trying to find a solution. an unattended vehicle, or at least some kind of healer willing to do a job no questions asked.
he found a scooter parked nearby. he skipped over to hotwire it and then drove it back over to her.
"hop on."

Skotti watched as mandi hopped onto a scooter with twilight "it's true.." he said to himself.
The shade put her hand on his shoulder "They are probably headed back to his mansion..." said the shade. "Then so am I..." said skotti.

Skotti Gallows Skotti watched as mandi hopped onto a scooter with twilight "it's true.." he said to himself. The shade put her hand on his shoulder "They are probably headed back to his mansion..." said the shade. "Then so am I..." said skotti. Suddenly he saw the scooter headed down the ally way that they were in. and waited for them to enter. Once they got half way down the ally, skotti placed two shots in the tires of the scooter, causing in to skid and stop.
