Matachi watched the letter crumble and he looked at Katherine wondering what it had said before the whatever destroyed it.

"A threat and a taunt." She looked back up towards Matachi her mind was somewhere else though for as she read it he would know it, it was how it worked she then looked to Paradox. "Who did you mean before? Who else where you talking about." She was yes scared but not for herself she could think of no one that was the problem no one it could possibly be.

Paradox sighed. "I know of a handful of people who can turn the tide of souls and bodies. Myself, Jack, and the Gods." Paradox took out a small silver vial from a pocket in his armor. The silver liquid floated in the closed conatiner like it was alive. "We each have a soul, and some more than one. Each is supposed to go to the great beyond. It has many names, and it has only one master. Their are imitations, like this vial which can do the same in a way." The general lectured quietly. "That is as much as I know." He didn't say that the underworld took more than just the soul.

Matachi's eyes narrow "Who is he though any clues?" he asked looking at Paradox "Paradox do not leave our side stick around at least in eye sight range do you understand me general?" he asked looking at him

Ai listened closely to Paradox's words. She wanted to find out who was behind the destruction of her home. Her right hand curled into a fist. She remained quiet as she tried to listen to what was being said.

"Matachi Paradox would never betray us you know that well enough." She spoke looking to Matachi. Then she looked to Paradox. "and Jack would never betray me. I am more sure about that than anything else. We made a pact long ago our souls did and he would never do anything to hurt me the children or this place." She spoke watching them. "Its not a god either. I would know if it was a god."

He had stayed outside by the gates, squat down, observing the dead guard. He didn't touch the poor soul, but just stared.

There is a lot of sound coming from the entrance of the castle, along with quite a hubbub. Two soldiers would march into the throne room, between them they dragged what seemed like a third. Dropping the dead body upon its face, the soldier upon the left would hold a letter forward as he lands upon a knee. "My Lords and Ladies, we found this man speaking to a dark figure, upon inspection the man resisted to the point where we had to kill him. This letter is addressed to nobody as far as I can see." This letter is still sealed with that wax wing seal.

Katherine walked forward quickly taking the letter from the guard and breaking the seal again her hands were shaking this time she didn't know the seal another thing that was bothering her.

The general shrugged. "I can make no promises, King. There are times when I must leave. The truth is, we have few choices without knowing the identity of this enemy." Paradox said unemotionally. the silver vial of liquid dissapeared back into his armor, and he stood there, waiting.(edit) The general then made his way to the new arrivals, and kneeled next to the body of the third man. He put his gauntlet to the man's head. "Rest in peace. . ." He said sadly.

It seems like this letter was not meant for Katherine. As she opens it, it crumples to dust. The only thing she can make out is:
Lord Paradox, our Saviour, it is almost...
This is as much as she could read before it has all fallen apart.

Matachi looked at Katherine sighing abit "I didn't mean that and did that letter say?" He asked looking at her

Surprised that the letter suddenly crumbled to dust in Katherine's hands, Aisis stepped foward. She halted and remain silent. Where was all this going towards? She became anxious for an answer.

Katherine didn't answer him she knew that he knew. "There putting the blame on you." She spoke looking to Paradox. "I won't believe that." She knew that his loyalty lie with her above anyone else even Matachi. She brought a hand to her head turning around the question on her mind was things were bad and getting worse where was Jack? He was always there he was her shadow.. shadow. Her eyes were tearing. Damn them for giving her that thought.
