'You don't have to go you know...you're the first person i've met. And well...honestly i like talking with you." she smiled as she got up and lit a few gas lamps in the room to make it brighter. "You're a vampire aren't you? I thought you were...you're quite charming." she complimented.

No matter how hard Shadow tried he couldn't leave. He gave up trying to force himself and just turned to face Lydia. "Yes I am a vampire but I have never been called charming before." he said as he straightened himself up and clasped his hands behind his back. "So, what do you think of this place?" he asked.

She chuckled softly, "Oh its beautiful...although i regret to say that i have yet to see it during the day. But i'm sure i will get the chance..." she smiled softly and walked into another sitting room. "Come and sit down..." she smiled as she crouched in front of the fireplace, stoking it to life from mere embers.

Shadow walked over and sat down. He was getting use to Lydia's presance now but only slightly. There was still something that he could not pin down. If he didn't know any better, Shadow would have guessed that she had stayed here before but if she had he would remember. There was such a strange fimiliarity, it was fairly plesant and relaxing but it always caused questions to pop up. "How old are you and more precisly what are you?" he asked with a pause "I mean no offence here by the way it is just that you smell... differant and I cannot quite pin much down about you from your scent." he added.

"Oh...umm i think i'm 23. Yes...23. As for what i am, i'm not sure. I have a heartbeat but if i get angry or feel a strong emotion....things tend to get out of hand." she sighed with a soft smile. "Hopefully within the next few days i can regain some of my memories...if not all." she smiled and crossed her fingers. "You thirsty?" she asked.

"well, you smell almost human but you have a hint of something else that I cannot describe. I don't know if that helps at all." he said with a half smile, he couldn't help but weel a little odd sitting in Nadea's old room but he would get use to it with time. "You should regain some of your memories in time. I'm sure that some of the other guests may be able to help you out... if they ever wake up or return." he added. Shadow was a little confused when she asked if he was thirsty. It wasn't something he was asked often. "I am a vampire. I am always thirsty. Why do you ask?"

"There is a large pitched of blood in the cabinet over there....gahh! And i'd be damned if there actually is..." she finished with a whisper as she got to her feet and went over to the cabinet and sure enough, a pitcher of crimson liquid sat inside. She sighed heavily and hung her head down to her chest, "Might as well get used to it Lydia..." she sighed as she grabbed the pitcher and a glass, she had the strongest urge to grab one for herself and hesitated when going for it. She shook her head and closed the cabinet before returning to her seat, "Here you go..." she smiled and handed him the glass of blood.

"Thank you Lydia. I don't know why but you seem to already know this place. It is almost as if you have stayed here before but you are still young so I would assume that you haven't otherwise I would have met you already." he said as he took the glass and drank from it. The blood was a little stale but still hand a sweet tang to it. "Do you ever drink wiskey?" he asked withotu thinking. It seemed that his mind forced out the question to confirm its own suspision. He could do nothing other than bite down and hope she didn't answer.

"I don't think i've ever been here before but...it seems all too familiar to me." she sighed. "Umm i've never had any but there was a bottle there with the blood....would like some?" she smiled half curious to what whiskey was.

"Pull it out and have a drink with me. Wiskey is a very nice drink, it burn when it gose down but tastes very nice." he said with a smile. He never thought he would drink wiskey again but it felt right for some reason. He was comfortable now and relaxed. His mind had quietened down and stoped pushing him to ask questions.

She smiled, "Yay!" she laughed as she jumped up and grabbed the bottle and two shot glasses. She bounded back to her chair and poured a glass for Shadow and then one for herself. "Cheers!" she laughed and raised her glass into the air.

Shadow took the shot glass and quickly downed what was left of his blood. He placed the empty glass down and rose his glass to meet hers. "Cheers." he said as he downed that shot. Shadow started to think for a moment. Lydia had mentioned that she hadn't tried wiskey before, she could end up drunk off the first shot. He laughed to himself at the thought of anyone getting drunk so fast.

She smiled and knocked the fiery liquid back, it went down easily and burned lightly in her stomach, "Hmmm has a nice taste to it...want another?" she smiled and winked as she helped herself to another shot.

Shadow noticed that she managed to take the shot with extream ease. he couldn't belive that she had never drank it before but decided to say nothing. "I'm always up for more." he said with a smile as he help out his glass waiting for it to be refilled. "How about you leave the bottle closer to me so I can refill myself." he said with a hint of humour.
