Now that the night had gotten later and colder, all those that were here earlier in the night were gone. Good, because to Gaijin they were all stupid amateurs running around with their heads cut off. He was sure that if he could find a clue, he would find a way to track these things. When he came to the lightpost again, Gaijin stopped his bike across the street and climbed off. His eyes were drawn down to the snow, and he let out a sigh as he saw all of the footprints from the fools earlier. Following anyone would be very hard with all these false trails. He did notice something though, tracks over the others, obviously more fresh. He kneeled down, examining it and their direction. The person had come towards the light post, and not that long ago either. He followed them to the lightpost, shades letting him see in shades of red and breaking the gloom to show him a disturbance, fresh. There had been a struggle here, someone dragged. Interesting. Dragged into the darkness... I'm going to guess Shadow Shi struck again. And that means it's a non-human more likely than not. But why is it picking this particular spot? I think this bears to have more looked into it. Gaijin stood up, searching the shadows for any signs of movement as he pondered what he would do next.

Asmodai clentched his armored hand and bone lance as he lept onto another rooftop. He stared down at the scene of the crime, where Neko's scent still lingered. He gave off a low growl.

"It will pay for what it has done..."

Gaijin stepped out of the shadows to look at the man kneeling and sniffing over the place where the Shadow Shi had taken its two most-recent victims. Hmm. You don't feel like a Lycan or a Vampire, so I'm going to guess that you're a da Demon. I haven't gotten the hand of sensing Demons yet, so it's just guess by way of reducing the options. Are you looking for the Shadow Shi too then?

Mia followed behind the priest, standing not far behind him, watching the transaction. She pulled her scarf away from her face, letting it hang loosely over her shoulders.

Taking the key from the priest she nodded. "Thank you." She had a feeling their rooms would be next to each other. The elderly man probably figured they came there together. "Shall we?" She looked at her key looking for her room number.

"Perhaps because it's become so popular since Neko was taken," he said with a raised eyebrow.

"And you may call me Aesh...Asmodai. I might as well start dropping my alias now. I'd like this thing to know what it faces, and I'd like everyone to know who hunts it. It's not everyday the killer of all the first borns in Egypt is on the prowl."

He extended his armored hand in greeting.

Asmodai huh? Never heard of you. So you're Neko's guy are you? Seems all the Elders are dating hot-blooded men. Must run in the races I suppose. He reaches his hand out, taking the Demon's in his strong grasp and shaking it. So then, it looks like we both wants this thing dead, though for different reasons.

Tsunami walked down an alleyway in the dark, she wasnt aware anymore, she was lifeless, she walked slowly wearing her trench coat, her wrist, sides and thighs hurt, they were cut, blood tears stained into her face, she tripped slightly and kept walking.
