mm...I was gone for over 2 years. I was afraid that it was more than I could bare... Forgive me. It must not all seem the same to you. I may have been gone for so long, but you may have seen me just moments ago here.

Had Janani expected it, Mystina's tackle would have been mear child's play to shrug off. Unexpectedly, however, her knee buckles and she's halfway to kneeling before she regains her balance. She manages not to fall despite that. Eyes wide, Janani turns to see Mystina. All the while, Cora speaks of the Brinks ability to draw from any time period at any time. All this in a flash of confusion, her wings strech out as her back is not to Luke, Cora, Cross, and Luana. She moves her arms to support Mystina, to prevent her from falling.

*Luke laughs again as Cora practically leaps into his arms. He catches her, holding her.*
*Aw, man. He looks around at everyone. Man, this what it's about. This is where it's AT.*
*As the realization of it all reaches it's peak, Luke gets that familiar feeling again... He's beginning to fade.*
Aw, s**t. *looks at Cora, more worried about how she'll take it than how he will ---- which is amazing in its own regard.* I'll be back, Cora! *reassuring her* I'll be back, just like I said I would be-

*Mystina blushes a little and lets go of Janani so she can stand back up* I'm sorry! I was -just- about to tackle someone in the same spot pretty much when I faded in... *She giggled*
How are you? *She smiled and giggled a little, 1 month had passed in her time since she'd faded in, and, she was now 4 months along...*

I'm fine...
Janani's wings make motions. It's obvious the two-foot wingspan isn't near enough to lift her off the ground, but they still move, streching and flapping. She seems to be a bit excited. She likes talking to somebody she knows. She likes getting to get to know new people, too.

:::When Luke begins speaking to Cora, saying something reassuring...she witnesses probably the most frightening thing possible. He's literally disappearing from her grasp.
She knows deep down that this is how the brink works. She knows that it might happen to her too...but she can't think of it that way at this moment. Not when she finally had back what she'd missed all that time:::
Luke...LUKE!!! NO!!! LUKE!! :::She holds on to think air, and nearly clentches through her own skin:::
No!! NO!!! DON'T GO! DON'T LET ME GO!! LUKE!!!
:::She begins to whale, and all the happiness that was there moments ago is replaced by childlike sobs and shrieks. Her seperation caused regression, and she suddenly felt abandoned.
She couldn't see anything around her, her knees just sank to the floor and she began to sob:::

*cross moves forward and is on her in moments.... his arm around her having done this two times too often* its alright lass..... he'll be back...... its all right... *he just holds her... no more sure of what to say than the other two times he's done this*

*Mystina smiles at Janani* Oh, thank you! *She hugged her tightly* I didn't mean to tackle you so surprizingly, next time I'll try to be more careful...
*she giggled...she -was- glowing from the pregnancy.... even if she was a little bit bigger, she still looked like the same little fae thing* Ooh.. I like your wings.. *she reached out and touched them* They're beautiful...
*She turned and looked at Cora, frowning a little worried but seeing that Cross was taking care of her, let her be... she didn't want to interrupt*

Janani is interupted by the sobs of a human. She glances over her shoulders to see Cross comforting Cora. Luke had disappeared... She doesn't want to be rude to Mystina by forsaking their conversation, but the human woman is in so much pain... However...the human woman does not know Janani... How would she react to her? Janani is torn, confused. She looks at Mystina. She doesn't know what to do.

*cross frowns slightly then without even considering if she could walk or not he scoops her up off the floor and heads to the board... and then to the main rooms..* Cm'on love.... lets get ye t'bed... some sleep will do ye good....

Janani rubs her right shoulder, remembering the short-lived scar she'd had. Yes... Cross is a good man. She'd learned, a long time ago, not to stereotype. He's a good pirate...a good human being. It's not until she glances over her shoulder again that she realizes that Cross is taking Cora to another area. By the looks of things, he means to deposit her in her sleeping quarters in this...rather strange place, the Brink. Janani is torn between relief and regret. She wanted to meet somebody new...but she wants that meeting to be with one in better condition...
Yes... You're right... I'm just...confused...and torn...
