Koji had taken a second to move one of his belts of throwing knives from around his ankle to his wrist for easier access should they run into trouble. This left him behind the rest of the group a little, and with the rate that Nari and Charlotte were moving, it was going to take a bit more effort to catch up than he originally though. He picked up the pace, darting through trees as fast as he could without injuring himself, and eventually took up the rear of the pack.

Wake up already...
Waffle was having no luck waking Sabe up. She poked his thighs, his sides, his arms, and so forth but he laid there like a sack of flour and blissfully unaware of the bind he was in. Come on...wake uuup. Her next idea was to swat his legs with the stick. It didn't produce much of a result aside from leaving a few marks. Then Waffle started tugging Sabe's ears, slapping his face, pulling his hair, anything to wake him up. She knew that he always woke up sometime after being jolted, but to her this was getting ridiculous and frustrating.
Are you dead or something? Wake up you lazy ******** stomped on his belly and then kicked his side as hard as she could, which woke him up with a shock. "About time you woke up you stupid son of a b***h!" Waffle scolded, "Did you think you were gonna get out of this by playing dead?" Sabe couldn't give a proper reply. Waffle muttered something inaudible to him then not a few seconds later she pinched his inner thigh hard enough to make him cry out loud.
Waffle stopped with the death-grip pinching, and walked up to one of the nightstands to get assorted things out the 'personal' drawers. As she opened the drawer and the implements flopped around, Waffle could hear a disdainful sigh come from Sabe. "...do you ever get bored of assaulting me like this?" he asked. She dropped her actions and turned around to him with a look of disbelief mixed with laughter. "Repeat that please? Assaulting?", she asked. Sabe stood his ground, shooting her a defiant glare....only it was the wrong time to be defiant. "I can show you what 'assaulting' really is, right now!" Waffle said. She picked up the thin pole.
An unbearably loud mix of Sabe's screeches and high-pitched wailing could heard coming from their room.

Mandi gasped and jumped a little on her bed hearing what was going on a few rooms down the hall. "What the Hell is Waff up to now?"
She pulled out her phone, trying to keep her hands busy, when she noticed she had an unread message. A sinking feeling set in when she opened it and saw it was from Lila.
" You rotten b***h. I told you what I did because I wanted you to keep away from him. You let him go out. He's in trouble now. No matter, with you out of the way, I'll come to his aid and he'll love me again."
Mandi shot out of the bed, between the screaming outside and the text she'd received, she wasn't sure how to feel. How did she know what I told Skotti? And where is she that she knows all this?
Mandi slipped off the bed to look outside the window. Nothing looked amiss. Then again, The Shade had been known for her camouflage prowess.
She walked over to the desk, where her eyes fell on something peculiar- her suicide note.
What the-
Before she could finish her thought, she'd been grabbed from behind and wrestled to the ground by an unseen force.

A laughing could be hear resonating around the room. "Hahaha ahh yes" a voice rang out "what a pity... his blushing bride dead by her own hand". The room was silent for a second or two, until a forced hit mandi in the side as she lie on the ground. "hehe whats the matter? to paralyzed to move, oh silly me, did I do that? haha" the voice rang again.

Mandi scoffed as she lay on the ground, "Well, well. Are we too much of a little b***h to fight where I can see you?"
Out of the corner or her eye, she saw the bed skirt sway as if it has been disturbed. Putting out her arm, she caught the arm of her attacker and flipped her onto the ground with her stilleto clad feet. Rolling over, she made sure to pin all her weight on the aggressor's arms. She frantically felt about beneath her own hip. Where the Hell is that switch? she thought to herself before pulling the entire box off, crushing with her hands.
With a flicker, Lila suddenly came into view beneath her. "So do you just condone cheating in all aspects of life, then? You make me sick."

The shade threw mandi off of her and stood up. "Ahhhahaha ooh she has some kick" she said, removing her cross bow from her back. "You have a choice, you can drink the poison on your desk or, you can fight and I will kill you, both are equally satisfying for me, just knowing your entitled little heart has stopped it's wretched beating" said the shade as she eyed mandi down with her crossbow armed.

"I'm the entitled one? Says the woman who stole another's husband." Mandi scathed, dropping to the floor, her legs moving in a quasi scissor motion using one leg to knock the footing from under Lila, the other to kick the crossbow from her hands.
With Lila back on the floor, Mandi was able to reach her pistol that was tucked inside her corset and planted it firmly against Lila's left temple "Now. You tell me why Skotti is in danger, and I think about not ending you right here. Would be a shame to make a mess on the beautiful floor."

Lila growled "you did not know what you had, you took skotti for granted and you will pay dearly for that mistake just as he will for tossing me aside! The kuro gang will be shattered and your friends? they have no clue what they are walking into, I am not the only one on the inside working for the vampires" she said laughing. "Skotti will be mine, one way or another, tata Mrs. Gallows" said the shade as a gigantic cloud of smoke engulfed the room and the shades shrieking laugh could be heard util she and the cloud faded away.

"Damn it!" Mandi exclaimed, falling onto the bare floor. Of all the tramps in Durem to play wang tag with, and he chooses a maniacal amateur magician...
She scrambled to her feet and grabbed her holsters from the armoire, I've gotta find Skotti. I don't know if the lunatic wants to have sex with him, chop his head off , or have sex with his severed head,
She pulled out her phone in an attempt to contact him, only to discover that in the scuffle, her phone had been shattered.

Twi eventually just gave the letter to Moira and asked her to deliver it to Luciano. he didn't realy care if she read it or not, but he couldn't be loitering too long. he had business to take care of.
he left the building and began to walk towards a Vampire meet-up spot. it was a particular pair of pool tables in a billiards bar. he might have to report his current position and updates on the mission.

The shade exited the restroom at the pool halll some time later. After fixing her hair, she looked around the hall and then down at one of the pool tables. she took the solid colored balls on the table and arranged them in a way that is seemed like she was trying to contact some one.

Twi recognized the code, and walked over towards the woman, scooping up a chalk block and a pools tick as he did.
"you look a little beat up. rough night?" he asked in a low soft grumble. "what's the news on your end?"

"You could say that" said shade. She chalked up a pool cue and sat on the table. "There is a group on the move, looks like they wanna bring the battle to us, but skotti is with them." she said striking a ball. "If you are gonna ambush them, I want him spared..." she said.

Twi raised is eyebrow, curiously.
"what's he to you?" the Elf asked. "not that it changes anything. I won't touch a hair on his head. where are they headed?"
he took his shot, lining up a bank shot which he missed. he scratched, so he handed the cue to the woman.

Mandi stormed outside, once again bursting through the doors. She hopped into her car and sped off to search for Skotti. Damn it, where were they headed. All I know is they've gone to retrieve papers. ********/> Mandi whipped around a corner. When she did so, her steering wheel locked up. Panicked, Mandi tried to hit the brakes, but to no avail. The car was quickly approaching a derelict building.
Mandi's only option was to open the driver's side door and roll out onto the pavement. So, she curled into a ball and hit the road.
She stopped rolling a quarter of a mile away from the building and watched, battered and bruised as her car slammed into the facade and exploded.
That c**k goblin rigged it to explode too? She is really starting to piss me off!
Mandi stood, coughing and holding onto her right side as she limped past the crumpled mess of wood, stone, and metal.
Debris from the explosion danced around Mandi. A photo landed on her show. Looking back at her was the smiling visage of Skotti. A young Skotti, newly married.
Oh Skotti. I just want to know why.
