Meriko I have a four year old who can open the child safety locks...my DVDs are screwed even if they stay in the house. XD You don't have a keyed cabinet? I put most of my stuff out of the reach of small children. X_x (And the ferrets.. they love to pull dvd's out for us to watch.)

For me in my house, both children are...well one's not a child anymore (me) and the other takes care of his disks lovingly as well. We have cats but they don't mess with disks, and would probably be to lazy to anyway.
At her house, she has a younger sister who messes with stuff, and a bunch of animals, and they live very unclean...they really don't take care of stuff much.
I remember trying to get season 7 back from her too...it took several weeks because she kept forgetting to bring it by, or she wasn't home when I went over.

Okay no she's not borrowing any of these anymore.
I just looked at the rest of the disks in this set. Two and Three have a lot of smudges and scratches, and Four has a huge scratch reaching from the center to the outer rim. O____o
NO DISK 4 U! scream *similar to the No Soup For You quote from the Soup Nazi episode I just watched*

NO DISK 4 U! scream *similar to the No Soup For You quote from the Soup Nazi episode I just watched* I would politely request that they replace the disks, having not properly taken care of it while it was in their possession. After all, that is the considerate thing to do, amounting that they borrowed it and did not care for it. I'd also make sure that they were made aware that if they wanted to borrow anything in the future, that they appreciate your property a bit more. After all, you didn't get it for free, so why should they treat it as if you had?

She has the locks where there is a magnetic key that you have to wave infront of the lock to get it to release.
No one told me how to open it, so I couldn't eat lunch that day. T.T

We store our DVDs in a closet, but ever since our eldest figured out how to open the child safety locks it's been open season. Most of the time he remembers that he's not supposed to go digging in the closet on his own, but sometimes he'll want to watch a movie and that'll override any latent parental commands. *hee*
