Okay I'm not letting my friend borrow any of my DVDs anymore.
On two of my Seinfeld disks so far, there has been major glitching, and they're so badly scratched. I know this wasn't my doing. And this is season 7 I'm watching and I've watched it maybe twice so far, so it's not from over use on my part.
crying It skipped the whole part with Elaine and the Himalayan Walking Shoe thing from the glitches...man...

Aww. Well...at least now you know. ^^;
Any chance your friend would be willing to reimburse you so that you could replace the damaged disks?

I don't think she has a job...I'll let her know though.
And Greg let me borrow some disk cleaner stuff...so maybe I can try it out on my disks...
These DVD sets are easy $40 a pop so...I dunno...
There's also a problem with something on one of Season 5's disks...but that may be from overwatching...

There's also a problem with something on one of Season 5's disks...but that may be from overwatching... Two things: 1) What are you watching your disks on? 2) What do you mean by disk cleaning stuff? Not liquid scratch or Scratch Doctor, I hope. @_@ I rarely let my disks out anymore, not unless I am there. Too many people treat my things badly, and I get hosed on it. They never re-imburse.

A lot of people don't really understand how fragile discs can be. sweatdrop I had a friend who would just throw DVDs on the coffee table and leave them there, sometimes just sliding them out of the way...She didn't know any better, of course.
@~@; Maybe your friend just didn't realize?

I dunno...they don't take care of a lot of stuff in their house.
Oh and when I let her borrow Family Guy, there was a huge sticky smudge on one of the disks. crying Thankfully I was able to get that off...

And I dunno what the cleaner stuff is...why? The Scratch Doctor smoothes the disk out by rubbing surface away from it (Destroying the playability of it in the process) The liquid scratch repair is not too bad, but you have to be careful with it. It fills holes up, but can also block info on the disk if used in excess. X_x
