Raven_Darkholme Guess what kids? People won't do s**t about the environment unless they're scared into it. Captain Planet, ******** class="clear"> All the more reason to hit them with the facts as opposed to making s**t up. When folks figure out that the whole Stop Global Warming thing is bullshit then they're going to be even more sceptical when others try to help the envirornment. The bastards are killing their own cause.

I cant say I belong to any party. Being N.A. I dont have fair representation in any of them.
Anyway, I think ultimately the government is responsible for reducing our pollution. This is something that the individual consumers, even trying to band together, dont have the power to do. Yes, I drive a gasoline car. However, here in the land of the free, I dont have a choice if I want to get to work and back on foreign oil or not. I think its the obligation of the government to provide that choice, that alternative.
Especially now in a post-9/11 world, and with Brasil, weaning itself off of oil using its own resources. If the government wanted to, they could reduce pollution big time. But we've seen with the Bush administrations changes in the EPA, and withdrawal from the Kyoto Protocol, that Big Energy Business > Environmental Damage.
