Oassu smiled "So shall we play a game then? Even though it's supposed to be super hard to play" he said frowning as he realised he couldn't shuffle the deck.
Jenna sighed "Yeah but I think she must be quite strong to survive so long with the evil fiends here....but that said a lot of the ones here were quite tame so I wouldn't worry too much" she said.
Itaka growled rushing forward grabbing a Couerl by the neck and crushing it as it was about to cast blaster he brought his sword down on the other whiskerless one "Aww come on Satoshi gotta get in the game, if
your not fast your last" he said holding up a corpse as another couerl unleashed it's blaster attack at it turning the corpse to stone.
Gil frowned "We could just kill them all...or maybe lure them to us?" he suggested patting Enkidu.
Mari nodded "Right, Gil and me can serve as bait and lead the marlboro through here, then when the pink one passes through Hebal can drop down through the trees killing the pink one and jumping out with it's bow afterwards!"
Gil nodded "Yeah the problem after that is how would we lose them? We still have a herd of them hunting us" he sighed.
Barbaros raised an eyebrow "My age is a little late to start celebrating Christmas Alpha, whats the deal?" he asked offering Alpha a drink from his tankard.
Zadina frowned "Aww come on, I'll be gone by tommorow so I won't be able to tell anyone and you know I wouldn't anyway biggrin " he wrote happily passing it to her.

Hebal nodded resting against her spear "Yeah I can do that but you better come and help me if I then get run down or turned into a frog by half a million marlboros. We could always lead them to the river. They hate water so you could just swim away to the other side" she suggested jumping into a tree.
Seph shrugged jumping on the back of a coeurl pulling it's head back directing it's blaster away from Itaka "You've gotta expect the unexpected right Satoshi? Heh you need to get used to this speed if you want to work with us but well done on getting the shiskers" she praised her digging her claes into the fiends neck.
Alpha shrugged pulling out a small red box from his things "It's nothing that big, it's just my mother didn't celebrate it, nobody did. I celebrated my first christmas the year I gave up looking for my biological father and moved in with Iota" he explained taking out a small screw driver from the box.
Amane blushed glancing around the class looking for a viera she thought to be reasonably attractive "Well there aren't really guys to have a crush on but remember that shy red mage from before? I kinda have a little crush on her" she lied accidentally leaking a bit of ink on the desk as she passed the note back.

Felina nodded moving up off Oassu's lap "Ok then, since it's your first time playing we'll go through one together before I compete with you" she smiled turning over the card that lay above where the pair of nines revealing a jack "If you don't understand anything then feel free to ask questions" she added immediately discarding the new target card which was a 6 which was then replaced with a 4.

Hayate raised his eyebrow at Jenna "You think she's quite strong? She's the most tame of the lot of them. My theory is she's a lot smarter than she's letting on, or at least well aware of her environment. Oh and of course theres something in the forest that makes loads of fiends go crazy at night" he pondered.
Satoshi grumbled quietly thrusting her kunai up into the neck of the last coeurl "Yeah usually I would say yes to that but you were also meant to be laying off the magic" she tutted pocketing the whiskers "Hmm... I suppose I won't tell if you don't" she added half a minute later giving them a wink.

Jenna laughed "I suppose you know a lot of friendly nymphs? Well maybe she's smart enough to hide but she does well for now at least if she survived to adulthood" she said
Itaka flexed his arms "Thats how it's done, nice work Satoshi" he said looking around the dead Couerls "Now lets move out and get something from those iron giants." he suggested.
Oassu frowned turning over his cards curiously "Ah yea...didn't you say you were going to contact your parents and tell them about the engagement last night?" he asked "How'd that go?"
Mari giggled looking up at Hebal "You just make sure you get out of there in time you can meet us by the river then," she said waving.
Gil grinned "sounds like a plan" whistling to Enkidu and running over to the edge of the herd and stabbing one viciously with his sword before turning and running the opposite direction before getting a vial out and letting the blood drip into it while the Marlboro's rushed after them.
Barbaros shrugged "Seems odd.... but oh well thats a bit of a shame I guess still know you know how Christmas goes down" he chuckled "Shame your kids are too old to believe in Sanza Klaws."
Zadina giggled "She is quite nice I guess you should totally ask her out" he passed back.

Seph smiled patting Satoshi on the back accidentally making a small hole in her clothes "Thats the right sort of attitude to have with us, we'll get along working together just fine. Anyway take us away to the iron giants also I was wondering, how are you finding your instant fame" she asked curiously giving Itaka's arm a light squeeze "You did a good job too"
Hebal saluted to the others deciding not to ask what Gil was doing with the vial and instead jumped into the tree waiting for the right Marlboro to pass by "Good look guys and whatever you do don't cange direction, stay going west" she called to them.
Alpha grunted pulling out on of the spare walkie talkies and began to take the casing apart with the screw driver "The kids are fine even if they don't believe in him, I buy them lots of presents but we all kinda agreed not to spend anymore than 5000 gil on eachother"
Amane's face turned even redder than before upon reading the new contents of the note "I totally couldn't ask her out she would totally reject me unless I get to know her a bit better. Is it just me or is this person really too keen on the chocobo dolls. She's going on forever" she passed pack.

Felina blushed placing a three on the top pile "Well actually I didn't get around to telling him, you see even in dream land I was a little drunk. Dad was busy and noticed my behaviour then gave me a scolding saying to sober up and come back tonight if I still want to see him" she admitted quietly in shame.
Hayate chuckled "I know enough about survival for one, plus I know a fair thing or two about forest life. If she's smart enough to develop human speech then I bet she is smart enough to hide. I mean imagine what it would be like for Boco if he could talk, he could learn all sorts of new things"
Satoshi smiled proudly jerking her thumb back in the direction they just came "I dunno, but we can find out by returning to the tracks they left behind earlier, they can't have gone too far because Felina's big barrier is still up" she instructed turning them back around "I dunno, I am not fussed that people are writing loads of trash about me in the papaer but at the same time I don't to be followed around by the press or accept any of the stupid modeling contracts they keep trying to gey me to sign."

Oassu sighed putting a hand on Felina's "Don't worry about it darling I'm sure he was just a little tired, you'll be able to talk to him and see him tonight at least" he comforted her playing his cards.
Jenna nodded "I guess thats a fair point still I do hope nothing bad happens to her after we leave" she sighed lieing back to rest. "She's a good girl it'd be a crying shame"
Itaka frowned "Actually I think Felina's barrier went down a while ago, she couldn't have maintained it and survived against Leonan after all" he said moving back towards the giants "What sort of loot do we take from Iron Giants anyway?" he asked "Also you totally could do a modelling career if you wanted" he added.
Mari giggled running off with Gil as the marlboro's chased after them "Good luck Hebal meet up with us across the river" she said creating the same dark aura before she used to constrict Hebal earlier to slow some of the Marlboro before running with Gil.
Barbaros chuckled "Thats fine thats fine, what did you get last year from them then?" he asked.
Zadina nodded smiling at Amane "Oh yea she must love them, but to be fair chocobo's are really cute! But are you ok? You look warm." he wrote

Seph laughed following Satoshi wiping her claws on het t-shirt "Have you ever thought of creating two clones to resemble you and Gil then use them as a decoy for you to sneak away from the press. Plus I agree with Itaka, you would totally do great in a modelling career with your figure and features" she stated pointing to different parts of her body showing where she meant "Are you sure the barrier went down? Felina is really really good at concentrating"
Hebal yawned waiting for the right moment to leap into the Marlboro heared "hurry up guys, speed them up don't slow them down" she muttered quietly to herself watching for the pink Marlboro that was beginning to cower slightly towards the back of the heard.
Alpha hesitated getting the first couple of screws off the device "They didn't actually want all that much from me last year. Mu asked me if I would buy her a few new circus costumes and also asked for a camera and a high quality tent. Psy on the other hand asked for a water cooler, a freezer bag, and a small electricity generator"
Amane nodded leaning into Zadina "Yeah I am fine but it is rather warm in the classroom today. She is absolutely obesesses with both dolls and chocobos and this is like a combination of the two of them. She collectes hundreds and brings a different one in every show and tell" she whispered.

Satoshi blushed dismissing it with the shake of her head "Umm no I couldn't do a career like that. I want to be taken seriously and known for my art not for wearing no clothes. Iron giants have big swords but if it's too heavy to carry we can just cut off one of it's honrns" she informed Itaka reexamining the tracks she found earlier.
Felina sighed allowing Oassu to play with the cards watching if he understood the game "I know he was rather sleepy, but I didn't exactly behave myself. It's really really embarrassing for him to see me as drunk as I was last night. Didn't appreciate my dancing" she told Oassu forming a small smile.
Hayate smiled noticing Yenytai calm down on Boco letting out a small yawn "She'll be fine if she keepsup the good work. Though I think she is finally a little bored or riding Boco around the camp now" he pointed out to her. Yenytai groaned rubbing her head "Woah... Bocho stop for Yenytai. Yenytai's head all swirly now"

Itaka sighed scratching his chin "I don't know the two of them looked beat pretty bad in that fight back there, but you know not all modelling is nude modelling right?" he told Satoshi.
Oassu smiled changing his target card "Aww how could he, your dancing is awesome, I certainly enjoyed it last night but you weren't that bad a drunk I thought" he said patting Felina's shoulder.
Jenna chuckled whistling causing Boco to pad over slowly and stop "Had enough Yenytai?" she asked.
Mari gasped seeing how far behind they were "Sorry Hebal!" she said dispelling her trap with a wave of her arm and stopping to catch her breath while the caught up.
Gil frowned "I don't see the pink one anywhere....it should be close by now" he said patting Enkidu before turning and running again as the marlboro's drew near.
Barbaros raised an eyebrow "What kinda costumes does your daughter wear? I'd expect the circus to supply that stuff and your son asks for unusual presents." he chuckled.
Zadina giggled "The little dragoon one is cute, I think my uncle bought me a super rare onion night chocobo doll as a birthday present once." he whispered back.

Seph frowned landing next to Itaka lowering her wings "I didn't think Felina came off too badly from that battle in comparison to the others. Oassu and Jeckhart had it really bad though so it must have felt like a very disappointing loss for those guys" she muttered sadly.
Alpha shrugged removing the rest of the walkie talkie casing "They do provide her with the costumes but she likes to have loads of spares. I am sure you know how circus clothing goes, sparkly, a little revealing, colourful and over the top. As for psy I can understand why he wanted the water cooler and freezer bag, as for the generator I decided not to ask about that one" he chuckled.
Hebal hummed to herself smiling a little as the pink marlboro moved its way further to the back "Hehe silly fiend is only making it easier for me to pick it off" she tittered quietly waiting for the right moment to jump down onto it.
Amane also giggled but kept her mouth shut seeing her teacher mouth at her to be quiet. She blushed writing down in a note for him. "Not so loud, if its a chocobo doll she doesn't have she'll totally freak and kidnap you until you give it to her" she wrote jokingly.

Felina smiled back placing the jack on top of the queen followed by another ten "You enjoyed it but come on he is my dad and a king. He's use to all the boring showy dances and probably hasn't seen my let myself go like that before" she laughed lying down on her front.
Yenytai nodded jumping off Boco giving Jenna and Hayate a hug "Than yoo Jenna, Yenytai's head went spinny after a while" she explained pinging Hayate's eyepatch "Whatcha doing now? Group got smaller" she asked tilting her head slightly.
Hayate groaned readjusting his eyepatch "Hey don't do that or I'll get hurt. The others have just gone into the forest for a while to have a small game of treasure hunting. The rest of us are just sort of keeping watch and making sure Oassu is ok"
Satoshi sighed scooping out of her bag a large pile of letters half opened "Yeah but a lot of these don't seem to interested in the normal kind. Plus it's not my thing, I would rather make my own clothes than wear other peoples fashions" she answered putting them away.

Oassu chuckled stroking Felina's hair before moving his on cards out of the pyramid "Well you need to let yourself go more often, looked like you were having fun last night" he said.
Jenna hugged Yenytai back "They went off to play a game, hunt some of the nasty fiends you know?" she said "I hope you had fun Boco seems to have enjoyed it" she said petting the tired chocobo who kwehhed happily.
Itaka shrugged "Well your an artist and you make your own clothes, you could give up being a ninja and become a model/designer and wear your own stuff if you liked I'd bet" he said
Barbaros chuckled "So long as he doesn't do crazy alchemic stuff like try and create a homunculous or lead to gold he should be alright, I've heard of some nasty accidents that has caused."
Zadina frowned "You think she's that bad? I'm sure if she's such a big fan she'd have it though I'm surprised she can develop such a large collection from just this village, it doesn't look like it's got so many shops" he passed back.

Apparently the most common cause of a homonculous appearing are failed attempts at reviving. The lad would make a lot more money if he didnt't give away some of his produce to those who can't pay though" he added quietly.
Seph groaned a little getting her leg caught on the side of a thorn bush "Are you sure these iron giants are near by? But you know how you want more money, why not do a few clothes making jobs. Or better still give out a few freebes for people to wear so your clothes can be recignised" she suggested cheerfully pulling the thorns out of her ankle.
Hebal yawned jumping down onto the marlboro instantly removing the appropriate tentecle "Hehe too easy, you little coward" she taunted it while it let out a shriek in pain. "Better fly away" she muttered jumping back into the tree and jumped away to the river noticing half the herd tern around to follow her.
Amane smiled watching Miss Chi step forward clapping her hands "I am sorry to inform you but I am going to have to cut you short there. It's time for you allto go on your break. Remember to put your thinking caps on before our next class starts" the instructed opening the classroom door.
Amane shrugged jumping out of her chair excitedly "Yay yay now this is the best time of the day" she cheered tripping up over her own desk "Oww we have travelling merchants come here selling stuff like that"
