My 3 roomates left and neglected to bring any of their leftover food with them. In fact, I'm pretty sure one of them bought groceries before they left.
Anyway, I brought my girlfriend over to help me eat all the food but she's a vegetarian... and there's a lot of meat. I might be a vegetarian for a few weeks after this. I don't know if I can handle any more...
I'm off to eat a hamburger and chicken dogs...

Kurai Mori confused What is a Po'boy? XD!! A few months ago some friends and I almost had an existential breakdown because we couldn't answer that question. We are a motley group, from many places, but none from New Orleans or thereabout. The debate was started with the comment "Po'boys don't have lettuce on them" because I thought Po'boys were a type of sandwich of french bread on which you put whatever leftover food on hand on. since we couldn't decide whether or not you put veggies on them, we gave a call to my boyfriend who is a new orleans native. turns out a Po'boy is the equivilent to the Northeast's Hoagie or the south's Submarine. go figure. Edit- Until this semester i'd only seen popcorn shrimp po'boys. which were just bread with popcorn shrimp instead of another kind of meat. the cafeteria here has gotten into the habit of once a week serving Catfish Po'boys. ...which i dont understand. NO ONE eats them. sweatdrop

Uh. Most of the Po-boys I eat have lettuce. They're just a sub sandwich's on toasted French bread- usually with mayo, lettuce, and whatever meat/cheese you want on it.
But they're all kinds of po-boys, just like they're are all kinds of subs and hoagies.

mm Po' Boys, good stuff. Unfortunately there's only one place around here that has Po' Boys ... and they only have Turkey&Onion. I'm not all too crazy about it.

I named him 'Hans' cause I thought he looked like some German douche. Actually, the first thing that popped into my head was 'Eurofag' but that would be a crappy name
