Bronwen stepped onto the pitch, already carrying her customary broom and box for the game, She looked over the teams assembled and nodded, thinking they were ready to start. Slytherin was having the devil's luck in winning this year, and Ravenclaw had only played once. It certainly would be interesting if either of them won. "Today's game is between Slytherin and Ravenclaw. Snakes versus Eagles. I want a nice clean game between both teams. Let's get this party started!" She kicked open the box and mounted her broom, waiting for the snitch to vanish before grabbing up the quaffle. Flying upward, she tossed the ball up, starting the game officially.

Leon was already glaring when he got called onto the pitch to sub. He would have rather not have to, but it still happened. Thankfully, his tactic was simple. Defend the seeker. He could do that. Or at least attempt to. If he managed to knock out other people while defending the p***k guy, then he didn't see anything wrong with it. He decided to try for Ravenclaw's seeker first off though, just because he could.

Di was playing this game, because one of the chasers, Grace, was missing. Probably sick, she suspected, but she didn't actually know the older girl and thus could only speculate. Without ever really a chance to wave to her friend; the players were ushered into their position, the balls released, and the game was on. She noticed one of the Ravenclaw's rushing in for the quaffle, so she swooped in from the other direction hoping to reach it first.

The game was called to a start, and like a blur, everything happened at once. The chasers were scattered, fighting for possession of the quaffle. The seekers were no where in sight, already searching for the snitch. And the beaters were hanging back, watching, waiting, plotting, aiming, until, SMACK, he heard it, not once, but twice. First going towards Rhys, and then redirected towards Evander. He moved in to guard his seeker and hoped to redirect the blow back where it came from, right at Lola.

Dodging a steal attempt; Savannah kept vigil for the other opposing chasers. They were all upperclassmen, but she couldn't see them anywhere. Which led to a good chance they were plotting some weird pincer move to try and steal from her. Or maybe she's just lucky? Either way, she was content with having a second (or first?) year on her tail as she rushed to the goals.

Evading easily, she maneuvered swiftly down the field, zigzagging to ward of the chasers and any possible bludgers. Then barrel rolled into the scoring zone where she was safe. Thrusting the quaffle back with one hand to line up her shot, she bit down hard on her lip and swung for the center hoop.
