This isn't the first time Gaia made us pay for a sponsored item though. Think of the living dead one, or the very old MTV shop we used to have under the shop selection. I am mostly iffy about it for the price (especially the RIG one). :0
I am very slowly updating some stuff in the guild. Do not mind me if you see me on and not replying much. xD

hr hrrrrrrr Maybe I could make some sort of like, easter event that would help bring members to the guild. Whens easter again? :V

hmmmmm....maybe Ill make teeny weeny chibis of the circus dressed up for easter and then have some sort of puzzles or something that people have to go through...oooo that sounds fun. Puzzle recomendations? They gotta be colorful and fun.

*Doesn't celebrate Easter.*
But we can try to do a Easter event? We did one last year, and it was pretty fun. We'll have to see when Gaia opens up the Easter forum, cause we did an event thread there.

Also. We do have an event forum. I made it when we tried that Halloween event. You guys want to try another big guild event there again? With a casual roleplay and stuff?
...Though..we'd need to figure out what we're doing with said roleplay. If we're keeping it within the Gaia Circus setting or expanding to incorporate the rest of the Gaia setting.

Well, we should mix them in the guild and there. For example, have all the puzzles in the guild, but the event page on the thread. I donno, Ive got a heap load of work this month, like you sil, and the stress is absolutely killing me, but I really want to do this event. Is anyone good at cute sprite simple work? Im not saying chibis, but like little easter eggs.

*googles* Easter is on April 8. You think we'll be able to get everything done (guild-changes/spring-cleaning) by then? Lets try keeping it to 2-3 different festivities so that we don't overwhelm ourselves during the Easter guild event. :0
I'd like it if we had the guild be a bit more specific than Gaia World idea since Gaia world could mean pretty much everything about Gaia's... world (lol). I don't want it to be another GCD guild, or an item list guild since things like that are pretty common (like my suggestion I made previously with EI/CI character fanguild). Been trying to find the right balance that doesn't confuse any new user (if they somehow finds this group via search). o_O;

Well then, what holidays should we do? Where I live, the celebrated ones are, in order of popularity, Christmas, Halloween, Valentines day, Easter, Thanks giving, 4th of july, and New years. About all people do here on new years is kiss then its over go back to your lives :V And st. paties day is the last on the list, with april fools day. Its like people forget those holidays exist. Works great on april fools day though. XD
oh s**t...that holiday is soon...I better watch my back at school....

Commercial holidays are the best. The way Gaia goes about it (celebrate one big holiday per season), is probably the way to go. Non-holiday-based guilds can be random stuff during slow days.

Yeah..I..only really celebrate Secular holidays and some Pagan holidays. XD (like the Solstices and stuff.) So I have NO IDEA when Easter normally is. Or Mardi Gras. Though when I lived in Louisiana you ALWAYS knew when Mardi Gras was. Always.
But yeah...more holiday events would be great. >A>

Why dont we pick a few holidays, say christmas, halloween, valentines day, easter or whatever, maybe newyears if we have time, and have a subfourm where we have the topics to celebrate it, then move them to a recycle subfourm when were done?
