~*~Catching the movement out the corner of her eyes she looked to Matachi smiling as he remained so quiet as they spoke. Hearing Katherine she raised a brow listening to what she was saying, rather curious as to what she was telling her. Sighing softly she let her gaze drift off Katherine for a moment in thought.~*~"For me it would come down to how or under what circumstances I met this person under. Though I am not one to just back down from anyone, nor fight anyone needlessly either. But if I was in harms way then I suppose it would not be a promising meeting. But why do you ask? As I said when we first met all of this is rather new to me, taking over the Wide Plains, learning who I really am, ruling...but it was given to me or is who I am so despite have some concerns...I will not just turn my back."Taking a breath as she looked back up to her again after speaking hoping she wasn't taking anything she said wrong as that wasn't her intension.~*~

"If the wrong person got there hands on that person things would not be as they are. Things would be very bad." She looked up over to Matachi again. "This person should not hold this kind of power.. no one should." She looked back to her. "But there is nothing that can be done about it."

Matachi thought about all this for a moment letting Katherine do her best, he sucked at these kind of things and she knew it "So katherine what can we do to help her."

"Well seeing as I am all new to all this lets pray I'm not the one who runs into this person unexpectedly. But that aside what would you wish of me Katherine as of late? Is there anything you require or need of me right now? Unless we still have other business we need to discuss right now since we haven't really talked much since we met."~*~ Glancing to Matachi as he spoke finally about what they were talking about, a soft smile to him before letting her gaze fall once more in thought.~*~

Matachi looked out the window abit "Whats going on with Flowering Rivers now..." He said not sounding surprised at all. Matachi looked back at Katherine wondering what she was gonna say

"Nothing new, don't forget what they did and on top of that if you recall little miss Serenity went to Flowing Rivers." She gave a slight smile to Matachi. "You have a lot to learn still about things that are not said out loud my love." but that wasn't just it there was so much she didn't know that was going on that was driving her mad.

Paradox knocked on the door before walking into the room. "Bandits are on the rise again, Katherine. I've started more and tighter patrols, which would work in normal circumstances, but the brigands are much more aggressive than they have been in the past." The general reported without missing a step. Patrols around the capital were keeping the city safe, for now, but it was impossible to tell how long that would last.

~*~Rilana looked over at her sister as she poured them both some wine, then hearing her and Matachi sighed softly.~*~"Do you know what the other houses have decided to do?"Looking over as the knock came on the door and smiled seeing the other man who had been helping her came in. Bowing her head to him again, but remaining quiet for now letting him talk with her for now. Glancing back out the window again shaking her head softly.~*~

"Are there any faith with these stories saying there monsters raiding them?" She spoke wondering then looked back to Rilana. "No I haven't been in touch with Lilly for some time she might as well have disappeared same goes for the house of Wolf, both houses tend to go through a lot of leaders. Something that should be looked into." She looked back up at Paradox with a smile as he walked towards them. "It bothers me little if they are i was just wondering, maybe Craven's left over demons?"

Paradox shook his head. "I told you, there was absolutely no trace of any remnant of Craven's demons. It was quiet, too quiet, and now we know why. It was the silence before this storm." Paradox replied unemotionally. He had a small clipboard in his massive gauntlets, but he didn't look at it. "AS for monsters. Few enough have been sighted for any kind of raiding, but the numbers are rising." He nodded to Rilana as well.
