Having me convince my friend that she'll give him her Gaia soul (as Phoe puts it). Gaia soul? rolleyes .... All gold she had, all donation items, some other items, every piece of gold she earns, every rare event she gets, donation letters until the it's paid off. Hmm....which basically means she's never going to get there since she's already questing again. neutral More or less... Like I told Phoe, she's scared shitless of seeing the guy. I was talking to him recently and he asked if he was going to get some kind of small payment soon. xp That really sucks for him. It sounds to me like she's not very capable of logical thinking. Or she's just not being very honest. gonk

Did she even finish paying off the scarf? confused Negative, she's also scared shitless of talking or even seeing Stryder. It's insane... And on top of all of this is her personal quest for a DT, a red fan, Gaia T-shirt, and something else. I'm none too fond of the concept of multi-questing.
After running it with Tarisu, I don't like it either. sweatdrop
I'd rather just go for the high item, wait a while, then go and get the others.

Yeah, he's on and off and is thinking about quitting, so she may get off scott-free.
I'mma go with the former based on what I've experienced with her. But yeah, she isn't honest in the fact she won't tell the guy what's going on.

Zero Omega I mean... I understand why she's doing the quest, I can understand why it's frustrating... But when you're getting all depressed about it and not taking plausible advice to get the item, why even bother? [/rant] I remember you mentioning this friend before. I guess all you can do is continue to offer sound advice. If she still refuses to accept reality, you've done all you can. Perhaps she'll eventually clue in to the way things work...

Streamjumper I'm none too fond of the concept of multi-questing. I don't think there's anything wrong with it if they're all relatively affordable items and they can move through it quickly. But if you've got a whole list of impossible or very difficult items, it's just...silly. It also makes the person look dreadfully greedy and unreasonable if they expect to be given so much.
