Streamjumper This episode of Boondocks had me in ******** tears... I'm still trying to decide if the demonstrators who were against R Kelly being ninjas was funnier than Adam West's attorney or the boys in the courtroom.
I saw that episode last night online at Adult Swim's Friday Night Fix. It was ******** hilarious. xd
I love how the kid with the cornrows totally pwns the prosecuting attorney on the street, "And if R Kelly goes to jail... I'll piss on your cat!"

Ugh, my friend is so frustrating. So she's on this quest for NM Minis for her husband (not yet, but engaged, anyway), she's been at it for... Three or four months and seems to have this, "Oh yeah, people are going to donate to me! Maybe someone will donate NM Minis!" And then she realizes... Questing for that high an item is a royal ******** b***h. She's getting all depressed over the fact that things aren't going her way, she isn't getting donations, she's getting pissed that people are greedy and won't donate. She thinks that because she is doing for her husband, it automactically means that it is super-nice and people should donate to such a good and loving cause.
She got an 80k donation and Demon Horns, she has a few other people donating to her including me. She recently set-up a contest in one of her other threads, one of those selling/donation contests where the highest donator gets an item (or items) but only if the seller gets a set amount of gold (say Kikis are 30k, you want at least 24k, you sell a Pitchfork to the person who gives you the highest donation but only if you get 24k in donations). So she sets it up like this, Jan '05-Oct '05 letters, highest donator gets the set. The price goal... Three million gold. I told her it isn't going to happen, that you have to sell the set for what it's worth, her defense, "Well they're going to be more expensive in the future!"
... Which brings me to my next point, she has this mentality that if she holds onto her donation letters, they'll inflate, she'll sell them off and booyah! Minis for her husband... Sounds good on paper, but in reality, by the time the items inflate to a good enough price, the Minis will have risen higher and be even more rare, so you're worse off then you were. I told her that you've just got to sell your stuff as it is, it's what Aki did, I'm assuming Atemu did it, Zely's doing it, generally anyone who quests sell their stuff. Hell, I offered to buy an October letter when they were sealeds because I didn't know if I'd be able to donate, she doesn't sell it and tells me that she'll sell when they open. She always says this and never does it, "Because they'll be worth more in the future." I've offered gold for three Jack Grab Bags but she didn't sell, she gets a Trunk and Pink Box and opens them instead of just selling them together and making a guarenteed 19k-22k.
I mean... I understand why she's doing the quest, I can understand why it's frustrating... But when you're getting all depressed about it and not taking plausible advice to get the item, why even bother? [/rant]

Yeah, it's nice that she's doing it for him, but I'm not so sure she quite understands how...errr........ most people quest. Seriously, no one's going to just give them to her. I mean, they're NITEMARE MINI'S! If you're going to quest, you have to be willing to give things up. confused

That's ok. I've met someone at a Connecticon meeting who quit Gaia over 2 years ago, might have slippers, and might be interested in giving em to me... cool I so hope he decides to.
