She also said she wants to beat some sense into her parents. XD
But seriously, your not ruining her life, never feel that way. No one is ever better off forgetting someone, no matter the situation. Good or bad.
Also, in my experience/opinion, just because most teens don't understand their emotions, and most teen relationships are not serious, that doesn't mean ALL of them are that way. Some teens have a good grasp on what love really is. I've come to believe in recent months that a long distance relationship actually makes it easier to understand your emotions. You can truly tell what is a genuine care for the other person, and what is a physical attraction when you can't see them in person. But most people don't see it that way. They probably just see you as some horrible person from far away that they don't have to care about because they don't know you. But that's wrong, and they are wrong.

I'm about to get all girly on you. *hugs* I already knew that accepting this about myself would make my life a lot harder than it was when I was in denial, and honestly I've experienced what people are like when they realize someone's gay... I don't want to sound corny or anything, but....I think she and I really might be meant to be because I can feel it in my soul that she loves me. I've never felt this strongly about someone, nor have I felt this broken because they're suddenly gone. I don't want to think about life without her... You're amazing, Lord Verin. I can't believe how much you made me smile when I read that post <3 I really appreciate what you said. ^^ *bows* ...And you guys wonder why I follow him. I don't care what they say, I know that I'm in love with their daughter. I can't just give up on her like that. I know that I'm always going to love her.... I've said a prayer for you two Rain and I felt something stiring so I have a feeling the almighty creator of the universe is on the job. I don't get that feeling very often so take heart. I don't know what's going to happen but you'll be better off for it. 3nodding

Im not really sure how you can tell that someone else loves you in a LD relationship...
as ive said, me and my wife met online and it was a LD relation ship for about 2 years.
but, I could tell that I loved her, and I knew that she said she loved me, and that made me happy, but I dont think I could really tell she loved me for sure until we actually met in person, and then I could just tell right away... but Im not sure if its something that I could be so sure of online, you cant tell what someone is thinking, etc.
i suppos emaybe if you talked on the phone a lot, then maybe you could hear it in her voice...
erm... I suppose I should be saying happy things sweatdrop
you loved her and now things are looking pretty bad, so I feel really sorry for you, and I promise to give you as much support as I can *hugs*
but in the end, like Vernin said, if she really does love you as much as you say she does, then she'll find a way, but if not, dont let it get to you too much, your a vun and amaisng person, and I know you'll find someoen else eventually if this doesn't work out heart

You're right, had I not spent so much time on the phone with her, I never would've really known. However...even through texting and online conversations...if the feelings are strong enough, wouldn't you say that you can feel it in your heart? If someone genuinely loves you but isn't there in person, I'd think that you would be able to tell somehow...right? I don't know about your situation with your wife (however considering she's your WIFE now, I'm guessing you knew it was true love heart ) but with me and this girl....I can just feel it. We care deeply for each other. I know that my love for her is requited, and I feel amazing to know that whether her parents got in the way of our relationship or not, she still loves me. I'm the one who holds her heart....and that is more important to me than anything <3 *huggles* Thank you all so much for being so kind to me. It's...very amazing of you.
