Sami scowled, staring at the road, determined not to look at Tony.

Her eyes moved slightly, but then she grit her teeth, looking back to the road, fighting with herself.

Then before she knew it she was glancing over at him, and then she gave up and laughed bitterly.

"Why is it..." She began wryly. "Why is it... that whenever we have to spend even more than five seconds with each other, we find some way to get under each other's skins?" She shook her head, taking one hand off the wheel to rub at her eyes. "Ugh... makes my head ache."

Laura walked around the large room, thankful that the maid was gone. "The party is tonight. I hope they get my message. Well, that maid let me borrow her cell, so I put the number on there so they can contact me. Maybe I should get one. Anyway... I guess I should do some planning just in case they don't come." Laura muttered grumbling.

Sami glanced over at Tony before rolling her eyes.

Yeah. ******** you too.

As she pulled off of the highway into another section of New York City, she blinked as she saw something.

Her eyes narrowed.

"What the hell...?"

Pulling off of the main road, she swung the car around and turned her head, backing into a side alley.

The maid made her way out of the mansion, claiming that she had to deliver a message for the old lady. She walked down the roads of New York, following the directions Laura gave her. "I don't like this part of town. It's kinda scary." She muttered. She finally came across the mafia building and looked at it scared. "I don't like this place. It looks so scary." She muttered. One of the guys at the front suddenly grabbed her.
"Well hello there. Looks like a little rich mouse got caught at the wrong side of town." A guard said.
"No. Leave me alone!" She said afraid. "I'm a messenger. Please don't hurt me! It's really important!" She said, starting to shake.

Sami bit her lip, fiddling with her seat belt as she shut the car off.

"I could've sworn that guy was dead already," she muttered to herself, getting out of the car and closing the door, heading deeper into the alleyway.
