Oassu smiled "Sure its only a broken arm with enough magic it'll be better in no time you know" he said kissing Felina "Besides I'm sure I'm still well enough to satisfy you" he said snuggling her.
Jenna laughed watching Yenytai "She's picked up quite a lot of language from those Viera hasn't she?" before glancing at Hayate "Just stealing a few things from a rich prince, I'm pretty well off for now" she said happily.
Gil chuckled using his last arms to stroke Satoshi's upper body "You must've been really talented then, however did you manage that with two broken legs?" he asked.
Itaka chuckled "Please Seph you'd just use stop and cheat in a competition gathering everything you could before time ran out the others would hardly agree to that, besides I get the feeling they don't care much for loot." he said "Plus I think everyone is a little paranoid just now after the attack." he said.
Barbaros scratched his head "Thats a sound plan, still the moogle skycity has plenty of planes and ships, I'm sure my kids will be able to head out there once they have achieved their qualifications. It'd be great provided they don't get involved in any sort of war technology." he said.
Mari flickered slightly reappearing a few feet back as Hebal sliced through a dark shadow of her before Mari zoomed forward to fill the silhouette again "You flatter yourself thinking you'll do that good against me" she said sticking her tongue out at Hebal drawing her sword across the ground and into the sky before bringing it down in a diagonal cut.
Zadina shook his head "I couldn't tell you with one is my best friend but...we have my cousin Felina, her fiancee Oassu a thief, Cap'n Alpha who flies the ship, Commander Hayate a general from the elven army and uhh.." he paused thinking "Theres Miss Seph and Itaka two rough swordspeople and Amane's mum, Jenna and Barbaros, two thieves from Agralia. Satoshi a super ninja from somewhere and last but not least, Sir Gil, the legendary hero" he said proudly.

Seph sighed slumping down next to Itaka a little disappointed "I wasn't planning on cheating and even if they didn't want loot it would have been a good training opportunity but I guess your right it's no good. I would like to see you come up with something better" she complained picking some dirt off her claws.
Hebal giggled jumping back into the nearest tree away from Mari "Hehe you flatter yourself thinking you can beat a dragoon from above" she answered sticking her own tongue out before jumping out the branch, doing a somersault and aiming at Mari's blade.
Alpha smiled taking a sip out of his flask "I was thinking of going up north when I get too old and make a little bit of work fixing things. But who knows times change and by the time your kids grow up there might be ab even better place for gadgeteers to make money" he pondered rubbing his eyes.
Poppy sighed stepping forward noticing that the only two people who seemed to recignise who Gil was were Ardie and Flit "Umm... Sir Gil is like this really powerful six armed mercenary who is really famous outside the forest" she explained causing more of the viera to start whispering. "So what does Amane's mum actually do? She certainly doesn't pull her weight in this village" a cheeky viera asked earning a glare from her teacher.

Felina laughed pulling Oassu closer to her "Sure you are well enough it's just a broken arm after all" she smiled bringing Cid up from the floor into her arms too "I and I hope you don't mind me making your arm go numb like that, if you like we could go back to the shops and buy you some proper pain killers"
Hayate raised his eyebrow in disbelief "Oh really? And just how did you get into the palace exactly. I am assuming it was high security and like most palaces where you need to have a good knowledge of the area to get through the gates. But you would be surprised what kind of things you pick up just by listening to foreigners talk. My first word in elvish I got right was a swear" he added laughting at Yenytai continuing to pretend to be a chocobo racer.
Satoshi smiled letting out a sigh of relief "That feels nice but at the end of the day for a ninja losing your legs isn't the worst thing in the worldunless you specialise only in taijutsu. For the normal ninja it's always the arms that are more important because it's those which are used to do all the handsigns" she reminded him relaxing up against his chest.

Oassu shook his head "This magic does the treat well, better than any painkiller could" he said sitting down with her "This is the best way I'm sure" he said poking his arm in it's sling.
Jenna laughed "No I charmed some horny nu mou prince, I do know languages quite well so I had a little conversation with him and he let me stay in his place the night, much to his loss" she said speaking in elvish to Hayate.
Gil chuckled "Maybe so but I ain't heard of any famous ninja's in wheelchairs, I hear a large part of being a ninja is in your mobility and without your legs you'd be pretty stranded" he said moving his arms so they all wrapped themselves around Satoshi in a big cuddle.
Itaka frowned stroking Seph "Don't be sad like that, if you promise not to abuse your powers like that I'll play with you if you want." he said trying to cheer her up.
Mari frowned using the same shadow trick to sidestep Hebal's jump and move back in rapidly parrying the spear and counterattacking with the blunt end of her sword "You USED to be a dragoon, now your a true blue mage your jumping skills might not be quite what they used to be" she laughed.
Barbaros nodded "Yeah but if your too old to fight who says you'll be strong enough to work with heavy machinery or have the required eyesight to see the tiny screws hidden in the metal" he chuckled drinking from his flask.
Zadina frowned patting Amane on the shoulder so she wouldn't get angry. "Hebal is a super strong Viera blue mage and she's really good with her spear but she used to be a strong dragoon too who could jump way way high up into the sky!" he said using his arm to indicate how high "She's super helpful and nice to everyone we meet" he said proudly.

Hebal ducked spinnging her spear around slightly putting up the back of it then gave Mari a light whack on the head "Or maybe my skills are up to scratch and I didn't want to leave a big hole in the top of your head or kill you" she pointed out suddenly ducking down giving Mari's knees a good whack pushing her back.
Seph smiled weakly rubbing her wing against Itaka "I promise I wouldn't abouse my powers but it's not as much fun with just the two of us. Still I would be bored if we did nothing all day and maybe those two will want a little more training/competiton" she suggested glancing at Hebal and Mari training.
Alpha smirked shaking his head at Barbaros "I'll be stronger than you when you get to that age plus my eyesight is fine. I don't even have to use glasses yet and I am getting on fast for your information. Besides not all machinery is heavy lifting. Theres a lot of things that are beginning to get lighter" he defended himself.
Amane almost growled at the viera in the front row that was clearly making fun of her "See she's better than your mum and at least she doesn't always smell like soup unlike your mum" she answered back. Miss Chi sighed standing up from her chair "Ok thats enough from you two if I hear another word like that it's no play time for either of you" she warned sternly before sitting back down "You may sit down now and the second group shall come up"

Felina nodded lightly squeezing Oassu's hand which rested in the sling "Are you sure about that? I mean you might find things easier to do if you have just a little feeling in your arm" she double checked resisting the temptation to sign a message on his sling.
Hayate rolled his eye wondering why Jenna was speaking in elvish "He must have been a pretty stupid prince to let someone into the palace who he hardly knows. I hope you weren't sharing a room. I learned a little nu mou once but then I sort of stopped learning it. Knowing 5 languages is good enough for me" he answered back.
Satoshi stuck her tongue out at Gil but hugged him back "Thats because wheel chairs require someone to push and they can attack people. The problem is unless they can teleport really fast they can't dodge any jutsu without the aid of legs" she answered back closing her eyes and enjoying herself.

Oassu raised an eyebrow "Like what? Feel the pain in my arm again?" he glanced at his sling "Unless it's putting any major strain on you I'd like to keep it, it helps" he said kissing her.
Jenna smiled "Thats very good more than me but nah he wasn't a total jerk, gave me my own room and I robbed the place good" she said proudly.
Gil nodded gently caressing Satoshi "Well so long as I'm around I'll make sure you never need to worry about anything like that" he said kissing her forehead.
Mari frowned rubbing her shins briefly before pounding the ground with her fist causing a dark shockwave to emit from the point of impact entangling Hebal's legs "Well if your skills are so great you shouldn't need to move to win" she laughed moving in again.
Itaka chuckled "Yeah they could probably be up for it since they are enjoying a good fight but it's not that long until nightfall, it's afternoon already it shouldn't be too long" he concluded.
Barbaros rolled his eyes "Don't brag your genetic advantages thats not cool," he sighed "The only thing getting lighter around here is your head, there's a lot of strength required in engineering." he said lighting a cigar.
Zadina patted Amane on the shoulder before going to sit down "Don't let her get you Amane, we both know your mum is super and awesome" he reassured her with a cuddle.

Hebal frowned glancing down at her legs "Hey thats not fair I thought we were only meant to be using our weapons" she complained using mighty guard upon herself so she could have a little more time to think before Mari would be able to attack her. She then burped releasing her icy breath accross the ground turning it to ice and used her spear to push Mari back accross the ice almost hitting a tree.
Seph shrugged kissing Itaka on the cheek "We still have a while to go until it gets dark besides if we give it a time limit and I don't use my magic then it should be fine" she answered getting up towards Mari and Hebal. "Hey girls what would you say to a little competition between me and Itaka. Whoever gets the most loot from different kinds of fiends win in the next hour and a half, no magic allowed" she challenged them.
Alpha sat down picking at little bits of grass growing by the trees "Well you see when I say I might retire and do machinery work I might move out of the engineering side of it, maybe go into the designing or maybe work on a completely different piece of technology. Gotta leave something for the kids when I go down" he pondered.
Amane smiled cuddling Zadina back while she made her way back down to her seat with him and Poppy who was already paying attention to the next presentation which was on about a rather shy red mage and her pet squirel which was sitting nibbling a nut on the desk. "I know my mum is awesome but these people are sometimes so mean about the fact she isn't always around and it reminds me just how much I miss her" she admitted in a whisper.

Felina opened her mouth to say something but instead decided against it and instead kissed his bad arm "Ok ok it's not a big strain on me so I'll keep your ar like that but remind me tomorrow morning to use the spell again because you'll be in pain again when you wake up in the morning" she smiled.
Satoshi smiled snuggling into Gil "Well... you can't protect me from everything that can cause damage like that but it's a nice gesture. I must say I am a little interested in Seph's challenge to the other girls" she admitted listening into the conversation stroking Gil's leg.
Hayate frowned a little ignoring Jenna's proud expression "Remind me to tell Elorin not to give you a palace invitation next time your in Yithra. Five languages may seem like a lot but it's nothing that big. I've known Hatchi and demonic speech since I was a kid then I had decades to learn Elvish, Agralian and Grian"

Oassu smiled "Well thats fine we can do that then, but what shall we do until the time to leave" he sighed "The clue is that good I don't think we'll need to llook more for now" he shrugged
Gil flushed slightly as Satoshi stroked his leg "What? You wanting to participate? What is it she's planning on doing?" he said glancing over at the others.
Jenna laughed "Aw don't worry spoilsport, I wouldn't rob the elvish palace but I've not heard of Hatchi and I only know a little Elvish speech but whats Grian like?" she asked.
Mari skittered across the ice before tentatively regaining her balance "Hey you used your dragoon jumping abilities earlier" she said sticking her tongue out "Technically your the one who broke the rules" she said looking at Seph as she talked "What do you think Hebal?" she said extending her arm so the darkness surrounding Hebal's feet was absorbed into her hand. She admired her ability proudly before drinking a high potion.
Itaka chuckled "If you say so but are we doing it in teams or are we splitting up so it's 4 way?" he asked Seph.
Barbaros shrugged "I guess but I thought your kids were already set in good jobs ya?" he said taking a long drag of his cigarette.
Zadina sighed stroking Amane's ears reassuringly "There there don't worry about your mum once you've mastered that summon from the temple I'll see if we can get your mum to come back and take you with us" he said quietly turning his attention to the red squirrel.

Hebal shook her hear rapidly sliding accross the ice "No no no jumping is a skill not an ability. You could go that high too with the right amount of training" she disagred putting her spear away "Sure it sounds like it could be a fun activity, if we get everyone on board we can go in 2 big teams that way nobody is left alone in the forest either"
Seph grinned stroking Itaka's chest "We are doing it in teams. After what just happened it wouldn't be the wisest thing to do all of us splitting up and going alone. Are you wanting to join in with us too" she added to Satoshi overhearing her talk with Gil.
Alpha shrugged "Well... Mu gets by with the circus, the pay depends on the season usually. Psy when not going soft makes a fair amount but still, I would rather give all my money to them when I die than let the governments get their greedy little hands on it" he answered folding his arms.
Amane smiled weakly at Zadina scribbing down a note on her desk and handed it to him reading "We aren't meant to be talking now but I would really like to travel with mum sometime. Be super nice to the red mage at the front of the class, she's really shy plus her sister is really sick right now" before sitting back to watch the squirrel do a set of back flips on the desk.

Satoshi nodded "Yeah I am up for it, I'm not sure about Gil yet" she told the demon shuffling back around towards Gil "Basically they are doing a loot collection challenge where you have 2 teams trying to get as many different kinds of fiend loot as possible" she explained to him.
Hayate shrugged "It's a little bit like a cross between bangaa and demonic speech. Not as many sounds and letters as the demon language though. As for Hatchi, it's not the most common language but you can probabli guess it's what language the people use who come from the northern deserts. Anyway I would rather not take my chances with you in the palace" he added sticking his tongue out at her
Felina glanced over at the others talking amongst themselves "Well how about we try out what the others are doing, having a competition. But thats only if you think you are up to wandering around beating up fiends. If not we could always just go for a wander around"

Gil shrugged "Sure I can hunt a little, its not what I usually do but I'll give it a shot if we need to so badly." he said.
Jenna nodded "Better a thief you know in a palace than a thief you know out of a palace" she quoted "Means if you keep an eye on your friends nothing can harm you but oh well I gave you my word I can't do more than that" she shrugged.
Oassu sighed "I'm not sure I'd be much help due to my arm but if you want to go along and have fun don't let me hold you back, I'll still be here when you get back" he said kissing her and smiling.
Mari nodded "Sounds like a plan but I'm not sure if everyone will be able to participate" she said jerking her head at Oassu "He's not exactly in great shape to go fighting all sorts of different fiends." she sighed.
Itaka chuckled as Seph stroked his chest he reached behind her and stroked her behind and tail "That would work well yea but Oassu can join in if he wants otherwise I'm sure some will gladly take care of him" he said.
Barbaros shrugged "So have a statue of yourself commemorated with your money but spend it however you want, what does Mu really want to do with her life?" he asked.
Zadina nodded passing a note back to Amane "Yeah it'd be super sad if I never got to see you again when you grow up but I'll bug Hebal about it and we'll come back at see you, promise!" he said clapping as the squirrel did backflips.

Alpha sighed taking out a small pipe from his things "What Mu really wants to do is go into acting, but big time acting rather than the small stage things. She's pretty happy with the circus for now because it allows her to go over the world. She's either touring the sky cities or the underground caves at the moment. Leaving money to the family gives you a nice feeling than a statue could"
Hebal frowned a little dragging Gil forwards next to her and Mari "It's not that we need to. It's called doing something for fun Mr.Serious and you're going to be on our team against Seph, Itaka, and Satoshi" she decided leaning into Mari "With a legendary mercenary on our team theres no way we can lose" she giggled.
Seph swished her tail and nodded "Yeah thats ok with us, I think we can take the three of you on" she grinned a little disappointed they didn't manage to get Gil on their team "Guys we'll be back in an hour ok? If anyone else wants to join us speak now" she called to the others.
Amane put her hand up deciding to ask how long it took to train the squirrel then began to scribble back pretending to be taking notes of the answer of 2 years. She then handed her note back "Yay ^__^ it would be great to see you again, maybe around christmas time if I'm super lucky"

Felina hesitated glancing at Seph then at Jenna talking to Hayate "Thanks for the offer guys but I think I'll stay here" she eventually answered turning back to Oassu "It doesn't matter so much, it wouldn't have been so fun without you" she whispered putting an arm around him.
Hayate yawned giving Seph a thumbs up "Another saying is to expect the unexpected. Unfortunately some people do break your trust but I'll take on board your word. Where did Boco take Yenytai by the way, I can't see them" he asked adjusting his eyepatch slightly "I thought you would have been up for some fiend hunting too"
Satoshi nodded her head moving over to Seph and Itaka "I guess I'll be seeing you guys later, good luck trying to beat us. Your arms aren't of any advantage, you'll still lose" she taunted the rival team waiting for Seph to say they could start so she could go ahead and form half a dozen clones.
