lol, secret santa?
I have an art guild thats doing a secret santa, but instead of gifts, we are exchanging art. .3

 @ Mint: I like that idea, tiered gift-giving would be best for those who can or cannot afford.
Tweaking the minor details later, of course.

Ah about the gift giving thing..
You can create groups like such:
Group A: Price range up to 50k
Group B: Price range from 50,001 to 100k
Group C: Price range from 100,001 to 300k
Group D: Price range from 300,001 to 500k
Group E: Price range from 500,001 to 700k
Group F: Price range 700,001+
On the sign up you simple have them place themselves in a group. Then within the groups you assign people matches. They will give a gift worth the price range and get a gift in that price range.

Kitty, yea that's pretty much exactly it, like I mentioned 3nodding Values can be adjusted, but the principal is the same.
People sign up for whichever tier they want and give/get gifts in the same price range to keep things fair.
Of course if someone wanted to buy above their max price they could, but no going below!
Bah, I leave for vacation tomorrow and haven't even started packing yet >w<

I offered to organize it as well but with no response yet >w<
Depending on interest, and to prevent any groups from being too small/non existent, less groups may be better. If somebody wants to give a 500k+ gift they can feel free to do so from a 100k+ group. Just my thought sweatdrop

Yes! Hoping to see more on the Secret Santa idea - it sounds quite realistic and fun!
Also, it's my summer holidays now! No more school =w=
