Nanaki shook his head, though he couldn't find any words to say. He thought it best to let Tifa talk to him for the time being, unless he detected she needed help.
His attention soon left Tifa's, to rest on another man, who he didn't quite know. Why was he looking for Cloud? "Why do you ask?" He wasn't just going to say where Cloud was to someone who could be there enemy.

Kaether frowned as one of the Jenova-touched faded from the area, but turned her attention back to Aerith, "Then I shall stand by to protect you...even from myself. What is your first order?" She stood a little taller, as she felt that she would finally have a purpose again...

"it doesn't seem that good..." Zack said looking down he thought about asking Tifa about her and Cloud being married, but he figured that might make her sad
Jake looked at Red XIII "I have a job that I think only the one who defeated Sephiroth can do" he lied, he had already thought of what to say if he was asked that "do you know where he is?" he asked in a polite manner to hide what he was really doing

♥ Tifa Lockhart ♥ "I know, Zack... but sometimes things aren't always what they seem to be." Tifa gave a small smile to Zack, then turned her attention to the mysterious man. She glared at him from the corner of her eyes, there was no way she was going to let this mysterious subject get anywhere near Cloud. Something about him made her tummy churned, and the fact she had never seen him before made her untrustworthy of him. "We haven't seen him in a couple of years, sadly." She lied, but remained confident as she spoke those words.

Aerith wasn't one to give orders, in fact, she wasn't even sure how to answer. But he determination on the womens face made the women smile. She was proud of her, to have fought her way to what was right. "You're first order? Well, you can relax for a start. I'm not Sephiroth."
Nanaki watched the man, his eye narrowed ever so slightly. Something told him not to trust him. "Cloud is not here. No one knows where he is. That man disappears from time to time, without a word to anyone. "
(( Do you mean the ShinRa Tower or Manor? ))

Kaether nodded, but her expression told Aerith that she had no idea how to relax. Instead, she decided that she would stand guard, and turned her attention to the area around them. It bothered her more than a little that there were so many Jenova-touched so close by, but according to Aerith, she couldn't just seek and destroy.

"Well maybe..." Zack said then looked at the new man who had shown up, he was angry at Cloud and was tempted to tell the man what he knew, but he didn't "yeah, Cloud hasn't been here in awhile now" he lied
"Such a shame..." Jake said he heard a familiar voice they're lieing! the voice said Jake nodded slightly he figured as much, these were some of Cloud's friends, they wouldn't give his location to a complete stranger "I guess I'll look later" Jake said to them then extended his left hand to whoever would take it "my name's Jake, I'm new here in midgar" he said with a slightly fake smile, though he was kinda happy to be meeting new people "what are your names?" he asked them

(( Sure. You don't have to ask if you have something you want to do in another area. I just didn't want you to be in a bunch of places at the same time like that day. lol. ))
Nanaki stood up, watching the man close, as well as blocking the two cubs from his view. He wasn't sure what it was about him, but he knew he could not trust him. He was glad everyone else felt the same way, as though it seemed.
Aerith went back to petting the chocobo's beside her, her gentle loving smile showing upon the young womens face. "Here, pet one of the Chocobo's. Just being around them, I feel at peace. They're magnificent animals, and very loyel."

Kaether looked at the chocobo with hesitation, she had never been so close to one, especially a bird of this size. She recalled something about chocobos enjoying a scratch behind the ears though she wasn't sure she could reach. Luckily Aerith had been feeding the choco, so its head was close enough for the swordswoman to give the bird a generous scratching. She was surprised by how soft the feathers were, and judging by the brightness of them, these chocobos were well cared for.
"....soft...."

Jake thought about what he said "but I thought you said Cloud wasn't here" he said with a fake confused look he could tell though, this man was one of the ones he was going to have to capture since he refused to help mother
