"*gasp* You are right! How could I fail to realize I'd be ambushed by vampires in the secret tunnels! This failure can only mean one thing! I need to open up a candy shop, it's all I'm fit for!" Charlotte pressed her hand to forehead and struck a dramatic pose. She then chuckled, "Nah, nah I just couldn't beat the news. All the radios down, apparently the vampires have access to our network. So we have to contact each other the old fashion way...with messengers. Since I was to be assigned here...I was given the task."

For a moment Charlotte paused. She wasn't sure just how much she should say on the subject of the bombing, from the files she carried it was clear that they would find out about it. 'Though those files might not be around any more so...' she thought, then said, "It rumoured that the higher ups knew before hand, but the basics is that some people within the gang decided to retaliate against not Louie, but Edmund for some reason. Perhaps he interfered in our business or something...but either way the resolute was the same. Louie was in the wrong place at the wrong time. A few clans still hold some loyalty to his bloodline and didn't like our apparent attack on his line...thus the attacks and it should be noted that they are just the beginning.

"Apparently they've been preparing an attack on the main building with a large force, while preparing to attack varies op centres,"
she paused and then continued by saying, "There are files that concern the situation, however when I was being chased I hide them on my way here. I could go back and recover them. Along with my personal files."

Twi led the Vampires with him into his house and turned on them with a scowl. he removed his shades so they could see his anger.

"you idiots! how many are dead because of your reckless attack!? who ordered that mess?"

"hey, pal, who do you think you are!?" the caster retaliated. Twi cut her off with a glare, sending her stepping back half a step.

"I was sent on a recon mission to acquire floor plans and member files at that compound. with those, a more co-ordinated attack could have been mounted and these sorts of casualties would have been avoided."

that shut them all up. they looked down and away, clenching fists and gritting teeth. the caster almost began to cry.

Twi sighed and relaxed a little. grunting, he walked past them back to the door they just walked through.

"come on. we've got work to do. the documents are in Countess Ambrosia's hands."

they walked through the door again, but this time they were closer to Ambrosia's estate on the outskirts of town.

Johnny gave a Nari a respectful nod, and Luciano replied to the newcomer, "Meanwhile, why don't you tell us who you are. . Then we'll see about lending you a hand with the recovery of your paper work."
Luciano wasn't going to say anything about the bombing, mainly because then it would mean that the higher ups have kept him out of the loop and he's had a few experiences in the past with Authority figures with poor intel. He dealt with that a lot when he was in the military.
Luciano looked at the rest of the room and let out a sigh, "We have a lot of cleaning up to do."

Pursing her lip, she shrugged saying, "It's seems like a fair deal. I am Charlotte Nolte, clearly I'm a fighter and...well, everything else you need to know will be in my files. I can't think of what else you need to know of me..."

She trailed off as she turned and took in what she assumed was a lobby. The wall and such were in pretty condition at least better than the dormitory after a fight over getting a larger room. The furniture was another situation. 'Still in better condition that after a fight back in the dorms,' she thought as she said, "Is there anything else you need to know? If you want to know the name of the superior who sent it some dude named Robert. Oh, nearly forgot there have been some changes in the higher positions...I think that might also be in the reports..."

A little dissatisfied with the information the new elf-- 'Charlotte Nolte... Note taken,'-- presented, Nariana piped up and asked her, "These files that you continue to speak of... Where are they?" To emphasize her next words, she raised her eyebrows and used her hands as she continued. "I don't mean to be impatient, but we need to know who you are as soon as possible in case we need to call for reinforcements. It's very likely that those vampires will return with reinforcements of their own, correct? Just taking a quick look around, you can see why they would want revenge..." she trailed off purposely and turned toward the dead bodies staining the floor with red.

"Oh! I don't hold up impatiences against you. Surprise attacks are only fun, if you're the one doing the surprising am I right?" Charlotte said presenting a grin to the other elf before growing a bit sober,"As for where the papers are. Well...I stuck them in a down tree not to far from the entrance to the tunnel systems. That is where they ambushed me...it was odd that they knew where I was..."

Anyway, I should be able to find the tree again since it also carries a few of my daggers. I've gotta little gem that can pinpoint them and thus the papers."
she pulled out her necklace from her sweater collar to show off the purple gem at the end. "The reason I need help is that I'm not sure if the area is safe. There could be other vamp groups or worst human groups staking that area. I'd rather not be forced back into a retreat or worst captured."

"Ah, so that's the catch," Nari replied matter-of-factly with a little humor. She crossed her arms and thought for a good moment, looking blankly above her. Seeing that her hair was in her line of vision, she ran a hand through it and let out a sigh. 'Don't think about your hair now...' Coming back to reality after thinking of a quick solution, she said, "I will go with you to help retrieve your papers. Just let me run and find a more suitable weapon. Like you said, the area might not be safe from vampires just yet, and I have relations with some of the humans around the area in case any of them try to make a scene." 'Besides, if some vampires are still out there, I want a little piece of revenge for my leg, she thought. And with that, she picked her rod off of the ground and trotted upstairs to her room.

Once inside-- and after she made sure no vampires were hiding-- she placed her training rod back underneath the bed. She walked past her bed and stopped in front of a black closet on the farthest wall. Here, she entered her password that deactivated the electronic padlock protecting her favorite "toys" and "accessories". Immediately, she swung the doors open and began searching for what she had in mind. "Hmmm...Aha!" she said triumphantly after pulling out a few of her gadgets. Closing and locking her closet again, she trotted back downstairs and proudly hefted a tiny cilynder in the air. It was very shiny, though it only measured about half a foot in length and was no thicker than a half dollar in circumference. Truth be told, it looked pretty useless. Of course, there was more than what met the eye.

"Well, you did bring the vampires into our home, but at least you helped kill them.." Koji said as he decided whether or not to be cordial with the woman. Since nobody else was extending the courtesy to introduce themselves, he followed suit. After Nari took off upstairs, Koji added. "I guess I could come along too.. but," he awkwardly ruffled the hair on the back of his head trying not to sound too rude, "Do you really think they're going to be safe hiding in some tree? Doesn't sound very secure.." By the time he asked, Nari was already trotting downstairs again.

"Well, Charlotte said as shifted her position and putting her necklace back under her sweater, "It isn't like I had a choose between a high security bank vault and a tree. It was either hide it or have it snatched off me."

She shrugged while pulling her glove down. She glanced at the newest fighter, If I had my way, I wouldn't have left it behind at all. However the trees gave them better position than it gave me. So I had to ditch it. Now don't think I left it just anywhere. I stuck it in a hallow tree. It's pretty easy to find, so long as you know the general direction I was run in when I first left the tunnels...after that I zigzagged. You know to ditch my followers...made it seemed like I had kept the files in my shirt which explains why I don't have any holes in my chest." She patted her chest in good natured way.

"So are we ready to go then?" Nariana asked a bit too energetically. While Charlotte explained why they had to go retrieve her papers, Nariana plotted the demise of vampires. Normally, she avoided such violent thoughts, but they deserved every unmentionable, gory thought that crossed her mind this time. She unconsciously gripped her little gadget tighter at the thought of using it against the one that tore up her calf.

Turning around, she noted that there was a familiar air around the girl. Normally Charlotte admired those with courage and guts, but something made her uneasy. Still she shrugged it off, she would need aid in any form it came in.

"Yes, well I think before we move out I should at least know the names of my companions," she said glancing over her two travel companions. If you won't mind that is..."

Koji shrugged at her explaination. It made sense under the circumstances, and it was good thinking to pretend she was still holding on to them to avoid too much harm to herself from attackers. Now that Nari was back, it seemed their little team was ready to go. "Oh, right... I'm Koji." He said, giving a quick wave.

Luciano stood by, listening to them talk. As he was listening he was carefully considering the mission. . After considering it, Luciano then said to Charlotte "It's settled, then. We'll go get your paper work."
After she had asked for people's names, Luciano spoke after Koji, "I'm Luciano. I run this operation."

"And my name is Nariana. A fellow elf supporting the Kuro Gang gets my support," she said warmly. Turning toward the rest of the group, she asked,"With the three of us joining you, will headquarters be alright in case the vampires return before we do?" Not wanting to be too careless, she figured that the possibility of the intruders returning so soon should be brought up. Revenge didn't cloud her mind that much.

Waffle slipped out of the conversation as the other three got involved, and walked upstairs. She could barely hear the hum of pipes coming from her room. I didn't leave the sink running. Who's up in my room?

She turned right when she got up the stairs and got through her door. Could have sworn I locked this... The bathroom door was closed, so she went up and turned the knob. It was locked. She could hear the showerhead running on the other side.

Waffle had a feeling who was in there, so she grabbed a bent wire near the door frame and picked the lock through a small hole in the knob.

As soon as he heard the lock's click, Sabe pulled the shower curtain so it hid him from view; by now he was nude and washing himself while trying to scrub the last bit of blood out of his clothes.
