A 'don't worry about it' floated down the stairs; Lily hadn't bothered to pause. Soon after, the sound of a door shutting came, followed by running water.

Arlen sighed and walked over to the nearest wall where he proceeded to bang his head against it. "I'm so stupid," he repeated over and over.

Tomo sighed and flopped back on his bed. Why did he care all of a sudden? He let out a whiny moan and rolled over. "I need a hair cut!" He announced, grabbing a pair of scissors from his desk drawer. He ran up to the mirror and snipped a small lock. "Ah! What am I thinking?" Tomo's hair was one of his most prized possessions. It would take months for it to grow back to this length. "I'll have to resort to magic to get myself out of this pickle!" He announced quite loudly. It would be no surprise if someone downstairs had heard him. He rummaged around until he found the desired book and walked downstairs with new hope in his eyes.

"She's in the shower right now," Arlen said wandering over to the couch and flopping down on it. "I don't know why she puts up with me anyways. I still ahven't gotten her Yule present and she's given me two amazing gifts," Arlen whined in self pity.

"Oh" Ukaia's ears twiched and she looked curious
"magic?" seh asked scampering over to tomo when he came downstairs "Tomo san what's gunna have to be magicked?" she asked quite eagelry

Lily came back down, braiding her hair as she walked and in fresh clothes. Quietly, she walked to the couch Arlen was on and sat beside him, tucked close to his side.

"Me!" Tomo announced proudly, puffing his chest. "I decided, today, that I'm too cute. I want to do something so that I won't be cute, anymore. Enough so, that I still look attractive, but not like someone's favorite pet." He explained, opening the book as he pulled out his glasses.

"Lily I'm really sorry about last night," Arlen said apologetically. "I was stupid to not sleep with you but there was a mob coming to the Muffin and Ukaia was scared and I was a bit scared too and I'm not sure how it all happened honestly I just hope that you can forgive me."

Ukaia tilted her head and studied him curiously
"WHy?" she asked
"You're cute for you human stardrds.. but.. i like you" she said chearfully to him then promply glompted him and began to groom his ears

"It's really okay." Lily answered with a small smile, resting her head on his shoulder. "Ukaia needed you more than I did. Just... you're not allowed to decide you want her more than you do me. Okay?" she asked, poking his stomach to show that it was a joke... mostly. Then she looked up to Tomo, concerned. "Are you sure? That kind of spell could backfire very easily..."

Tomo squeaked as he stumbled back a little and blushed when Ukaia began to clean his ears. "I-I knew you would say something like that." He stammered, voice quite high. Ukaia's tail around his sent a ticklish shock up his spine and made his hair raise along with his voice. He cleared his throat and looked away, "I'm pretty sure I want to..."
