Sien growled as he grabbed John by the shirt and brought him close to his face. His eyes were blazing and a faint glow seemed to start forming around the rest of them. It was hard for John to avoid his gaze, but the light hurt his eyes. "I told you not to make excuses and to leave the self pity behind, child. Only someone who is selfish refuses to let others serve them, as service to others is the greatest thing that one can do in the world. by refusing to let others help you, you are denying them the greatest pleasure any living creature can ever have. If you don't know this, then you obviously have not served enough people yourself. That would mean that you are indeed a "lazy person," the very thing you just said you were trying to avoid. There is an order to how things are run in this house. By not letting them help you, then you are keeping them from doing what we PAY them to do. It is their job to help out. They do not try to do everything for you, there are still plenty of things that you have to do for yourself. You don't see them trying to dress you, or bathe you, or feed you like a baby. They don't tell you where to go, or what to do with your life. They are just trying to do their jobs, and you are selfishly preventing them from doing it. Fae learn from their mistakes too, just the same way mortals do. Right now, you are not learning from your mistake, you are continuing to make the same one. STOP REFUSING TO LET PEOPLE HELP YOU! Accepting help does not make you lazy, letting people serve you does not make you lazy. If you want to know what it makes you, then try accepting help gratefully. You will come to learn that it makes you stronger, as does service to others. If you have doubts, then just look at myself and My Lady. I will not tolerate ungrateful behavior in my home!"

((just so you know, because of the power of intimidation that sien is putting out, every one in the kitchen would be cringing from him.....even those of house fiona, who are incapable of feeling fear. since it is focused on John, well, he should be the worst of all.))

((no, loki would not know what is happening. no fae should know what is happening except, Marienara, Sien, Leona, and possibly Rhapsody and Kiashadra. This is new to all other fae. they have never seen or heard of anything like this before, and it is very frightening to them because of that.))

Nick stood back up after it seemed things calmed down more to the point where he wasn't completely scared out of his mind and walked over to Selina and asked "Are you ok you were shaking for awhile there?"
