Xavier stretched his wings and trodded the ground a bit, both startled and angered by the news. "By who?" he asked as he folded his wings against his back again, his gaze lingering on Hope.

Xavier grunted a bit before lightly walking over to Hope and sitting down beside her. "So they have gone to Twilight's city? I'm assuming that means they've left her in your care." Xavier's tounge reached out of his mouth to lap up a bit of blood from the corner of his mouth.

Xavier gave a bit of a huff as he laid down, crossing his front legs. "I'm almost certain they could have found someone better to tend to her.." he muttered as he licked at one of his front almost hand-like paws.

Xavier couldn't help but let his boisterous laughter ring out for a few moments before he settled down to a chuckle. "It appears that we both agree on something." he said, looking amused as he watched Dark with his burning purple eyes for a moment or so longer, soon turning his gaze down to Hope who had fallen asleep some time ago. "But do know that if she isn't properly taken care of while the others are gone, I can gaurantee that you will be faced by several enraged people." he added before he lightly licked one of his paws clean.

Dark grants Xavier a feral smile. "Rage often serves my purposes, dragon, as does fear. You might say I feed on them." As he says this a red glint enters his eyes.

Xavier raised his eyebrows, looking curious as his own burning eyes watched him. "Oh..? How so?" he asked, adjusting himself to get more comfortable.

Darks grin grows wider. His stare becomes darker and his voice colder. "Perhaps a demonstration. Tell me, dragon, what is it you fear most?" Darkness suddenly shimmers around Xavier as if something dark and terrifying was being pulled from his head.
