After what seemed like hours of pushing through crowds, stopping at red lights and listen to old people screech at her from their windows, Rina burst through the doors of the dimmed lights of the cafe where she worked. She glanced at the clock on the wall. "What luck I have...10 minutes late. That's not gonna look good on my paycheck." She sighed, rubbing the back of her head. She slowly walked to the back, calculating the damage her paycheck may do her this time.

"...Hmm...If I don't buy food for about three days, I should be able to pay off the rent on my apartment..." She sighed again, not enjoying the thought of having nothing but water for three days. Gloomy as usual, she lifted her hand and pulled down a coffee stained apron from the wall by the hem as she made her way to the cash register. Rina pulled the apron on, tied her hair up with a rubber band stuffed in her jacket pocket, and slumped her torso over the counter. The cafe was empty, as it always was during the day. She hated working at this time, since she was the only one that had the day shift.

Her boss came out from the back. He was a big, gruff-looking man, able to intimidate a rabid dog just by glaring at it. He glanced at her, shook his head, and walked out through the back door, cigarette in hand.

Resting her head in he hand, she watched the hands of the clock tick away as she waited for the other employees to walk through the rusted door.

Yuki smiled and blushed noticing their hands, still intertwined together. "R-right. You wanna come up front? Or stay here?" she asked.

Rina could feel her leg fall asleep, standing there. It had been an hour and only two customers have come in: regulars. They both sat on opposite sides of the rusty old cafe. Their faces were obscured by the shadows, both wearing large trench coats. Rubbing her eyes, Rina muttered curse words under her breath.

(I had a cup of water with me by the computer and my sister accidently spilled it..x.x )

Samuel blinked, finding himself dragged around again. He blinked again when she put on his skates, wondering how anyone could use such things. "U-uhmm..." Sam looked to the people effortlessly skating in circles before looking down at his skates. "S-sure.." he murmured as he tried to stand, his arms flailing about as he already slipped and fell. "Oof!" Sam blinked, finding himself on his back and staring at the ceiling.

Samuel blushed from embarrassment, taking her help gratefully. "A-alright.." he murmured, struggling to keep his balance while he merely stood up.

She waved her hand in front of Sam's face. "Sam, you in there?" she asked a little worried at his blank look.

Rna almost whooped for joy when the clock struck 6, the end of her shift. Usually she would stay to make some extra cash, but she was tired of standing there. After throwing her apron back onto the rack, she ran out the door, stuffing her arms back through the sleeves of her jacket. She felt like rollerskating. There was a place she loved to go, and she sped up at the thought of returning there.

When she arrived there, she recognized someone. Running up to her and a boy she was with, Rina waved and shouted, "Yuki!!! Hey, long time no see!"

She smiled. "That's oka-" she was cut off by someone calling her name. She turned to see that it was Rina! They used to be the tightist of friends but then Yuki had moved, but was finally back. "Hey, Rina! I missed you! Oh, this is Sam. I'm teaching him how to skate!" she explained. "Other than that I didn't go skating much while I was gone. It hurt me to much and reminded me of you and how much missed you." she explained on.
