Suddenly the class bell rang and Sensei got up to close the academy door.
"Ding dong," he said dryly before turning to look at Haru. "Hoshigaki is, as of now, late," he said matter-of-factly to the knight, although his tone was ambiguously respectful. "I'm sorry, sir. I have no idea of his whereabouts... you might wish to try his house? And I mean that with the best possible intentions." With a short inclination of his head he turned back to his class and rapped at his desk with his knuckles to gain their attention.
"We have another busy day ahead of us today, but before you start, I'd like to know what every one of you learnt yesterday, when you were with Koyuki-san, and anything else that you might have picked up."

Sanabi sat still listening to how things progressed, Hoshigaki? OH! He meens slimeball, why would he be looking for him? Slimeball is a low life, pompous, self-centered, pain in the butt... nevermind... he'd fit in with the mistress and her lackies with little trouble at all. But still, he's an academy student... what interest would he gain from the higher ups?
He sighed then yawned, and lifted his head, watching and listening to the sensei. He perked up when he was given the chance to list his accomplishments of the day before. He stood up and anounced himself with a smile, "If you include all of the techniques we learned IN-class, then I would have to say... I memorized the hand signs... learned how to control my chakra... learned how to thow a shuriken efficiently... I learned Henge no Jutsu on my free time after class... the fubuki boy was nice enough to teach me... and also with his help, I finished the first section of training to learn Kawamiri no Jutsu." Sanabi nodded to indicate that was the end of his list.

After hearing the bells stopped ringing Jericho knew he was late, but there was nothing he could do at this point other then face his punishment. Jericho sprinted to the classroom and burst through the doors only to stop dead in his tracks upon seeing a rather large man talking to Sensei. I hope this isn’t about me…. He though nervously as he slowly made his way to his seat hoping no one noticed his tardiness.

Vesimine could see the doors and she ran at full speed towards them. She rushed through the doors in a flurry of crimson hair her slate eyes frantic and she doubled herself over in a tasteful and grace filled bow. "Please excuse me for my tardiness, I know it is my first day but I can only promise that I will do my best to make sure this will never happen again!" Her eyes were fixated on the ground as she waited for a response.

Haru nodded and left the classroom. At least there was one cooperative person in the village. But so far the children seemed to be growing up to deviants. Perhaps Haru would need to return to the academy on a later date.

Uzuki looked at Jericho and another girl he had never met. "So we have a new student, the bad thing is that now she'll need to play catch up." He decided to say the things he had learned, even though it wasn't much. "After academy was over I went to the mist field and did some training to increase my chakra. I also ran a few laps, but I didn't finish and fell aslep." He sat back down in his seat and waited for someone else to explain.

Batosai approached the academy as he finally made it for his first day. As he gotten closer the door to the academy, he heard the bell ring. He slowly sign as it ringed. "I'm late for my class, it probably wasn't a good idea to take that long way. But hey i almost made it, well lets just get this day over with." he thought as he made it to the door and opened it. As it opened he slowly made his way into the classroom. Once there he noticed some other students and the sensei of this room. He took a deep breath and thought to himself, "This is really going to be a long day."

"I did..." Kira began in a bored monotone. "Nothing." Silence. Well, that sure went well. Unnecessarily blunt and lacks all tack, maybe, but Kira was honest about it... For last night, he simply went home and waited for Hatsuyuki until he fell asleep. She never came home. He wasn't really listening to the other students either... He was more concerned of why Hatsuyuki was running so late...no, where the hell was she last night?

"I see," Sensei said, momentarily ignoring the latecomers until Kira finished speaking. Then he looked at the students standing by the door, and his expression flickered to one of annoyance.
"10 laps around the training grounds for being late," he said and there was no hint that he knew any of them beyond what had happened in the academy. "And then, after that, please introduce yourselves, both of you. I'd advise you to run quickly as you can, so you don't miss anything. And if you are late tomorrow don't bother coming back..."
Then he turned back to the class. "Well, Tategami, you will be my teaching assistant for the day. Today, we will learn Henge no Jutsu. While the senior class is learning this, the relative newcomers will work on their hand signs and chakra control. But first, before we start anything, tell me what Henge no Jutsu does, and what you can use it for." Sensei dragged his gaze over all his students as he spoke (not counting the late ones) "Anybody?"

((This actually is the shortest (and dumbest) response I ever written for Henge. xDD))
"You turn into something." Kira continued in the same expressionless monotone with a horribly neutral expression on his face. Silence. A nice, short answer. Maybe a bit too short and lacking in detail. "You can become a bird...flapping away in the sky." Silence again. Soon, people would probably start wondering if the boy was crazy...or just lost in some sort of daydream...or maybe he was an alien from another dimension.

Sanabi glanced over at the fubuki boy, and found he was very different from Suki. A chuckle escaped his mouth, and he spoke up, "Hehe, your explaination is very vague Fubuki, but it get's across the message. Though that is not how I would have put it... maybe a few extra words. But, the point is that you can transform into anything you concentrate on. It's actually quite easy. I learned it quickly with very little instruction from Suki's Brother. Wait, are you dirrectly related to Suki as well, as in siblings?"
Sanabi glanced over at the sensei, and got the feeling he wouldn't want casual conversation eating away at his class time. "Heh, nevermind Fubuki... we can talk after class."

"Yes Sensei." Vesimine bowed her head in shame and turned leaving quickly. She made her way over to the track (is that what shes suppose to do 10 laps around?) and began her run. She wasn't fast but she had good pace, perhaps she would have been done sooner if she hadn't run in the first place trying to get to school at a resonable time. She breathed in a set pattern and closed her eyes letting her hair swing back and forth as she tried to relax and sweep her troubles of her shoulders, if only momentarily.

Jericho pushed himself out of his seat and sighed. Well that’s what I get for wanting to be clean. He though as he walked towards to door to begin his laps. “Well, at least this will be a good way to wake up." He said with a smile as he pushed open the door. He looked back at the classroom for a moment then left to field for his laps.
