An eyeblink, and the Enkou's body was encased in flames as he had done to protect himself from Aeron's Chainsaw Sword. Instead of running, the Enkou's arms would latch onto Hido's sword-arm in a grapple as a wisking motion surrounded the interlocked opponents. Thankfully Kanshin was encased in the barrier, as the summon spirit Shemhazai split into four with Immolatus's gambit, firing a barrage of moonlight bullets in four directions towards them. Immolatus's Brink of Hell technique was a powerful barrier of flames that encased him and could repel any attack, at the cost of an after-effect he had nicknamed the "blood burn effect". After using the Brink of Hell, his bloodline techniques were unusable, and thus it left him much more vulnerable; but as his fire techniques had done little damage to Hido's clone, it was not a large sacrifice. The spirit bullets rapidly fired from four angles before the four-way-split Shemhazai leaped up into the air and re-merged the four into one. Triggering the bullets, which simply had struck and stuck to the barrier of flames; the bullets and their residue energies set off a nuclear-level explosion. As Immolatus was encased in his Brink of Hell technique, and with the assistance of the fiery encasement against his skin healing his efreet body at a constant rate, he would be able to survive the explosion. However, Hido, who was in point-blank range, would be caught in the nuclear explosion's direct radius; and if it didn't kill him, it would hopefully be enough to weaken him into retreating.

The bloody gash spread across Immolatus's face, and his body crumpled, his summon spirit flickering for a moment; and while Immolatus's healing factor from his form of Ifrit could heal him, the flames around him were dying, unable to heal him fast enough as the form faded, leaving Immolatus in his human form, in quite a bloody mess...
His hands quivered, and he made a motion to Shemhazai, who realized what Immolatus was planning, bowing her head; "You know... it's a funny thing..... about dying... It's not quite as scary as people make it out to be.... I mean the whole 'never seeing this world again' thing..... Hell, I can't see the world to begin with.... I wonder.... if you die too; she'll be free of those eyes.... Your clone, it mentioned you'd enchanted her with a doujutsu to make her fall in love..... If you die... .will that break? I guess... it's time.... to find out........"
As Immolatus forced his hands into a seal, the summon spirit Shemhazai would lunge herself at Hido in order to prevent him striking the seal for Jutsu-Shou again; initiating her Devour Soul in order to drain Hido's chakra and disrupt his chakra flow long enough for Immolatus to pass...
The wound had been extremely serious, and the blood now flowed freely, the seal he had struck; the Destiny Bond, in an attempt to drag his opponent into Death alongside him. His slightless eyes looked towards Kanshin as he whispered; "Free...... yourself.......", the pale eyes losing what little shine had ever been within them as the Enkou expired, his hands still retaining the seal of the Destiny Bond.

Kikyo had started to follow Sano when she decided to pause and watch the fight between Immolatus and Hido. A hand went over her mouth as she saw the end result and dropped her hea, seeing Immolatus die in such a way, and all because she hadn't gone to get Kanshin away from Hido sooner. She forced back her emotions, getting an icey and lifeless look in her eyes as she turned and quietly whispered "I'm sorry Kanshin. I should have done something to help him..." She turned, her head still lowered, as she looked to Saikou, her eyes still having that dead look to them they had when he had used that technique that revealed her greatest nightmare. She sighed and lowered it. "I'm sorry. I cost your village a great nin.... You're a guest and free to stay until I figure things out. Please... don't get yourself killed. My house is in that direction. Go there if you want. It's unlocked since no one's stupid enough to steal from me. Make yourself at home as you please until I can come and give you that tour as a way to apologize for your services." Kikyo looked around, noticing the cannons were redirected and the villag seemed to have moved. She had been right, he wasn't here to preserve this village. He was going to use the cannons used to protect the village from rouges to fire on some village. The question was, which one. She clenched her teeth under her mask and walked up to Sano. "The house we're going to isn't mine, but my future father-in-law's. I don't think he would object to us going to his house in order to have the best tea and good protection from any attacks. Please follow me." She turned and started headed farther towards the center of the village, going in the direction of the crowd that parted out of her way in an almost frightened and anxious manor after seeing the fight.

Kanshin had been smiling and hugging Hido when her face suddenly went blank, the smile becoming an instant frown. She let go of Hido and blinked as though trying to get rid of a head ache before putting both of her hands on both sides of her head. She looked up to Hido with a pained expression, as though she needed comfort. "H.... Hido-kun... I have the feeling... Some one close and precious to me just... Died." She bit her lip and shook a little as tears formed in her eyes.

Sano nodded. "Thank you, that would be excellent." as they reached the aforementioned home he turned too Momiji, "Take Riku, I need you track down two people for me, the man called One, he's a loyal Gear, and the other you saw just recently, bring that one in dead or alive, it seems that he needs a bit of reprogramming. " watching as the two left, it left only himself and Mei in the village. "Shall we?" he said motioning to the open door.

Momiji and Riku turned, a simple recovery mission would be to hard would it? Taking off back through the city they hung suspended over the Hido clone an array lighting up the sky before vanishing. "Catch yah later Hido," Momiji quipped flipping a blood red stone up in the air catching it in his hand before continuing on Riku was all together too busy looking at the new keyblade he had gained. "Hidden Dragon," I wondered what happened to this one... Momiji did you notice anything strange about that girl back there?" Momiji laughed, "besides the fact that she has one of your stupid keychains... nope," so he Riku wasn't going crazy she was a wielder of the keyblades as well... interesting.

Mei looked up at the strange man who might be her jailer, might have been her savior, but all she felt was a strange sense of defenselessness with Momiji gone. Had she actually begun to feel some modicum of safety associated with the white haired boy? Well it felt better then being with this slightly crazed man who she knew could end her life whenever she wanted really.

"You never quite explained that, just who are you marrying? Some legendary nin?" Sano asked in what seemed to be a completely innocent tone. He kept walking occasionally stopping to look at something displayed in the house. "If you have something that grows locally that would be agreeable." Sano said his white lab coat sweeping backwards even though there was no wind apparent.

Mei was a bit awestruck coming from relatively simple surroundings the house seemed rather amazing to her, even bigger then the whole complex she lived in with several other ninja families. "I don't really have any preference so long as it's hot." she looked up startled like a dear in the headlights. "I mean! Thank you for your generous hospitality, lending me clothes and everything." her gaze almost instantly went down to the floor in front of her. She tightened the cloak around her as if suddenly re aware that she wasn't wearing much in the way of clothing.

"It smells wonderful, I have to wonder, is it harder then normal to grow crops this high in the sky? For that matter, I actually find it a bit hard to breath with the depletion of oxygen, but I suppose your much more used to it by now?" Sano said as he sat at the low table and began to drink his tea with great interest. He hadn't noticed it at first, but in reality since he came here he had been breathing a little harder then normal to compensate for the lack of oxygen in the current environment.

Mei smiled. "Yeah, I'm a bit more used to smaller buildings and working underground, the labs back home..." she faltered off, did she have a home anymore, did it really count as a home when the people there were trying to kill you just, because some evil person had a hand in your creation? "Everything it's all just been very sudden I suppose," she said looking downwards at her reflection in her tea, taking slow sips savoring the heat that began to seep from the her core to her extremities, tea really did relax you, even in places you didn't feel quite right being in.

Hido walked away from the body, grabbing the small sphere left by the mans soul and stepped over to the dome of crystal that Kanshin was trapped in. He looked at her somberly as the crystal faded away reaching down to help her up and wrapping his arms around her. "We have something we need to do..." He said body flickering away to a place no one would follow.
