"ACK! Cagomarg!" Linalee said as she picked up the prankster. "How many times have I told you not to attack random pokemon..." But the Slugma just continued to grin thinking she was quite hillarious. "Sheesh I can't take you anywhere without you causing trouble." Linalee said returning her after the rant.

"I know! I'll send you out instead." Linalee said releasing Cisashwi the Barboach to the night sky. She was a much more agreeable pokemon in all of Linalee's experience. "Sorry about her." Linalee said scratching her head. It was definantly one of those 'anime sweat drop' moments.

"No worries!" Train said, picking up her Pikachu. "He'll calm down in a sec." Sure enough, Pikachu was back to normal a moment later. "Oh, cool Barbaoch!" Train said, looking at the fish-looking pokemon.

Pikachu decided this one didn't look like it could completly cover him, so he took a step forward and took a small sniff.

An outstretched hand wriggled free of his mother's hold. "Keegan help!" He hoped his old neighbor would have at least some civility, he never remembered him as being the kindest person in Hoenn. His prayers were answered somewhat, as Karen let go, dropping the boy on the ground, hard.

"Alright," She said simply, planting her hands on her hips. "I assume you're hear for more than just a simple hello." She held out her palm. "I want to have a look at the gloves I made for you, I think I can make a few adjustments." Not feeling like an argument, he simply handed them over. "C'mon Shiver, let's go." With that, she walked off, taking the Cloyster with her.

Mike sighed, reaching into his backpack for his notepad.

((Holy muffins, that was like, my most useless post ever.))

"Yeah I got this little girl as a gift from that one person I'm searching for's grandparents. They're such nice folks." Linalee stated thinking of their encounter. This time Barboach sensing that the other Pokemon was already a little uneasy decided to play it safe and let out a quiet "Booaaach."

"Good job Ivy!" Mitsu squealed hugging the Grass Pokemon as soon as the flames died down. "You were great." She held up the Pokeball and recalled him. She glanced at the fire still raging about. "I supose I should put those out," she muttered.

With a flick of her wrist she sent Nightmare's Pokeball sailing through the air. It erupted with a burst of red light that soon took the shape of her beloved Gyrados. Nightmare bellowed out his trademark roar upon his release before looking down at Mitsu. "That's got to be you're loudest one yet," Mitsu laughed. "But now lets get down to business. Would you mind cooling down that fire for me?"

With another affirmative roar he summon a small wave and sent it crashing upon the earth. The red-orange flames vanished with only a few puddles and scorch mark left upon the ground. "Nice work Nightmare!" Mitsu smiled.

"Oh, cool!" Train said, and smiled down at her Pikachu.

Pikachu let out a little relieved sigh, relaxing. "Pika!" It said happily to the Barboach as a greeting.

((Sorry, really short post ^^; ))

Deciding it was a bit too warm in the area Barboach decided to use a Water Sport to create her own puddle to sit in. Now much more comfortable she let out a happy "Barbo!" It then went over smiling at Pikachu realizing that it was an electric type she wanted to show off her egg move, Spark, as little bits of electricity flowed around her.

"You're fine, Mike," Keegan called back idly, dismissing him with a wave of his free hand. "What son doesn't love to be doted on by his mother?" Snickering, he nodded to Sheena to follow (which turned out to be rather redundant, for she was clamped onto him like a Shellder clinging to a Slowpoke's tail) and the two continued to head deeper into the small city, Sheena occasionally turning back to take a peek at Mike, but she would whip her head around quickly, pretending like she wasn't. "Very smooth," Keegan observed, which resulted in her giving him a playful swat.

((Y'know I was about to go on without you, too.))

Pikachu watched the pokemon make itself a puddle. Then Pikachu saw Barboach use an electric attack. Pikachu was clearly impressed that a water pokemon could use an electric attack.

"Now where was that Pokemon Center again?" she mused. "Gah, I can't remember this town for my life!" Nightmare lowered his head till it was almost too the ground and gave a sort of roar that said "Hop on." Mitsu climbed into Nightmare's head as he slowly rose again, careful not to drop his trainer. Mitsu scanned the town a bit before seeing the familiar red roofed building. "There!" Mitsu said pointing in what appeared to be a random direction. "Thanks Nightmare!"

Once off and Nightmare safely back in his Pokeball. Mitsu made her way into town. Once barely at the outskirt she already felt the need for company. "Ebony, I choose you," she said as the ghostly Pokemon clung to her shoulder, hitching a free ride.

"Man I'm hungy," Mitsu whined, "Shoulda grabbed something while I was with Touya." Ebony laughed looking ahead. After a quick stroll around the town she passed by the Pokemart. "I have no money to get anything with sorry," she apologized to Ebony as he stared into the shop's glass windows. He hadn't recieved a TM in a while. "I Promise I'll get you something next time," Mitsu said patting the Gengar's spikey head.

Misty said nothing at the sight of the Flareon in front of her, and it was rather clear that she hadn't seen many of them, or she might have noticed that its colouring was off. About the only thing the Tomboyish Mermaid knew for certain was that Sunfire was a Fire-type, which didn't bode well for Mag. The redheaded gym leader folded her arms, wondering what Mag was up to. Clearly the battle - both opponent and circumstances alike - was not in his favor. Using the end of her towel to dab away a trickle of water that had started to run down the side of her face from her wet hair, Misty raised an arm and flicked her wrist. "Goldeen! Water Sport!"

"Gol-deeeen," came the reply from the elegant Goldfish, and almost instantly she started slashing her tail through the cool blue water, and drenching Sunfire in a wave of harmless, yet fire-deterring H2O.

Every so often there was a little whimper from the small Wooper perched on Miharu's shoulder; it seemed the little one was once again feeling lonely for its mother. Unfortunately for the young Water Fish, Miharu had no real idea where to even start looking. Her PokeDex had told her that Wooper were primarily water dwellers, and only came up on dry land in search of food. Miharu assumed that the mother Wooper (or Quagsire; she didn't know for sure) had led her babies out of their aquatic home to teach them how to find food for themselves, and one had become separated. Its cries would die down when the young trainer would gently pat its slimy little head, but it would soon start up again.

They'd been riding a while longer when Starrie made a strange sort of noise, the red gem in its center flickering much like a warning beacon. "What is it, Starrie?" Miharu, asked, alarmed. The light radiating from its core shone on what appeared to be a solid wall blocking their path. A little confused, Miharu hopped down off of her bike, Starrie doing the same, to have a better look. "It's a wall of stone," she said, running her hands over its surface. It had deep scars embedded in it, some of them looking as though they'd been there for a long time. "This wasn't here the last time we passed by." An ominous creaking sound suddenly rang through the cavernous passage, causing the small Wooper to cry out in fright. It jumped down from Miharu's shoulder and hid behind her bike, trembling with fright. "What's wrong?"

What was wrong became very apparent as the 'wall' in front of them moved. A low rumble came from nearby, and quite suddenly Miharu realized she'd been petting the muzzle of an Onix.

Kasiya took a deep breath and started to inch to the right along the glass wall, using her sense of touch to lead her. She couldn't help but noticed the amused grins coming from some of the apprentices who were watching her progress (or lack thereof) as she moved along, and she glared at them, causing her to momentarily forgot to pay attention to what she was doing. The glass wall came to an end; or a corner, at the very least, and she didn't realize there was no longer anything to lean on, and tumbled forward, landing unceremoniously on her stomach.

"You're never going to get anywhere like that," a voice said from above her.

"It's not like I can really help it," the girl grumbled as she pulled herself to her knees, rubbing the little rug burn she'd sustained on her right elbow. She looked up at the speaker, and blushed a little. It was a taller boy, wearing a red bandanna much like hers, and tufts of short blonde hair stuck out of it on odd angles. His bright green eyes might have been his most prominent feature had it not been for the eclectic assortment of clothing he had on. The bright red and yellow vest and shirt combo he wore reminded her of a court jester, all that he was missing was the joker's hat. The dark pants he wore might have been made of spandex, but Kasiya chose not to think too much about it as she pulled herself to her feet. The boy actually was rather attractive under all that gaudy clothing, and he pulled two blue juggling balls from one pocket, and a Pokeball from the other. "Let me guess," Kasiya smirked, reaching for a Pokeball of her own. "To go any further..."

"Yeah, yeah, you have to beat me," the juggler replied, the three spheres being tossed up and caught rather effortlessly. Kasiya had to admit it; the young man was pretty good. Deftly he caught them, and nodded towards the door. "Let's take this outside. We wouldn't want to disrupt the others."

Kasiya shrugged. "Fine with me."

Miharu uttered a little cry, and backed up quite suddenly. This action probably startled the great Onix, and it glared at her through one open eye, rising up as high as the cavern’s roof would let it. The fin made of stone protruding from the top of its head grated noisily on the ceiling, causing bits of rock and dust to scatter to the ground. Almost instantly, Starrie jumped forward, narrowly being struck by falling debris, ready to take on the much larger challenger. "I'd heard that there were rare sightings of Onix in this cave, but I never thought we'd run into one! Look out Starrie!"

The star-shaped Pokemon jumped back as the Onix's tail came sweeping out towards it, clipping one of the Staryu's appendages and taking a chunk right out of it. Miharu gasped in fright at the damage, but Starrie didn't seem to care; instead the damaged Pokemon backed off, its body glowing with a metallic hue. It had used Harden, bolstering its defenses by toughening its body. The next time Onix's giant tail came heading its way, the aquatic Pokemon leapt over it, and at Miharu's command let a powerful Water Gun loose, scoring a direct hit right in the Rock Snake's nose.

Maven got up and started training Phyra getting her to work on her moves on the side of the road.

As Phyra started to prance around to show off her coat and flames Vixy ran between her legs. Bolting back and forth careful of where each hoof was. It was an entertaining display as the Vixy weaved between Phyra's legs.

Maven called Vixy back and held her as Phyra started to execute more stylish and complicated moves. Phyra would leap into the air to land on her back hooves and rear up moving her two front legs. Vixy had crawled away from Maven's arms and sat beside her legs as she started calling out commands.

At the end of the routine Phyra bowed on two legs and walked gracefully over to Maven and lied down. Maven knelt down and stroked Phyra softly.

"you did beautifully girl. A great job once again I'm so proud of you."

Vixy walked over and nuzzled Phyra's nose.

"And you lil one, you've got a streak of a daredevil in you. Probably won't be too long before you are strong enough to go home." Maven pet the small Vulpix and sat there letting Phyra rest.
