Minerva shook her head, "I don't like women, in or out of bed. And I'm looking to kill the man who murdered one of the few people I could call a true friend. If you want to call that man issues, feel free." She glanced at Eric looking at the gun. "Yeah, that will do."

Minerva the Marvelous Minerva shook her head, "I don't like women, in or out of bed. And I'm looking to kill the man who murdered one of the few people I could call a true friend. If you want to call that man issues, feel free." She glanced at Eric looking at the gun. "Yeah, that will do." Eric nodded, handing her the gun. "And that's some seriopus man issues. Make sure you pop him in the nuts."

Hattie barely heard Minerva as she hopped up onto a work bench with an old mechanic magazine.

Minerva nodded, "more than one pop there, shorty, more than one." Minerva hefted the gun and turned towards the door. "Call if either of you need anything, I'll be out in the city....picking up some milk and bread." She smiled, and wondered if she'd run into more of the police, it was highly likely. If she got arrested, it meant she had to deal with the police chief again. He had made her so angry she was tempted to shoot him, which meant she probably liked him. Minerva pushed the idea far from her mind, she didn't have time for it, she had vengeance to deal with, and the high score on the chief's game boy sucked.

Minerva shook her head. "No good, Shorty, I tried pulling the Jehric and Angel card on the Chief, didn't do a thing, and I'm more qualified to rig his toilet to explode than you are, no offense. Things that go boom are my only hobby these days." She grinned, "but, that keep the ideas open, I still might call on you to help bring hell on the Chief and his minions."

I remember my classics - Minerva, Roman equivalent of the Greek goddess Pallas Athene, Goddess of War and Wisdom, whose symbol was the owl, whose shield bore the medusa's head which turned men to stone...and who was one of the three goddesses who laid claim to the golden apple marked 'For the Fairest'."

A.C. strode in. "Not that I think Minerva isn't a war goddess, Bobby--it is Bobby, right?--but I don't think wisdom and the beauty vanity really apply. Plus, Athena was a brunette." She started climbing the shelves/equipment towards the ceiling, for no apparent reason.

"She was a brunette by tradition, but many an artist has added gold and red to her hair." She gave a slight shrug, "but it's a nickname I didn't choose myself."
She let out a patient sigh, "now if you'll excuse me, I sense this whole argument is bound to fall into insulting my wisdom, beauty, and skills far more than I please. And neither of you are qualified to make judgments, considering the most you know of me comes from an info-database, which I wrote, by the way."
Minerva pushed out the door, hauling the gun, and a scowl on her face. She missed Maverick, she missed having a friend, hell she missed having any friend. After Mav, her whole life had become business, it had to happen to stay alive, that's what she had argued to herself.

(It's basicaly the generic info on supers/military supers/ people that worked on the super projects, Min was the first one documenting the history/powers of different supers back when she started her hunting career. And since then that database was incorporated into Union and then later to the three present factions. It's been added upon in later years, but a large part of it was constructed by Min.)

He only talked about her appearance (and his opinion about it), and that she helped him escape the UoS.))

((Yeah yeah, I know, but when it comes down to it, I don't think they've ever really talked before, and Minerva had no idea what he was talking about with the face thing, she was far too distracted to realize it was a compliment.)
