((Spiffy pics. I've drawn a few as well, but I don't have access to a scanner until August so I'll show them to you all then.))

Sitting, pateintly observing the varoius books and gazing out the window Clover barely noticed Epotheros approach her. She gave a startled expression and exclaimed, "Oh what's this?" Ep had a book opened to a page with people with blue hair. Clover was amazed. She had never seen anyone but herself with such odd colored hair since her village was destroyed. Her eyes lit up as she asked, "Do you think my ancestors came from this land?" She pointed to the word 'Sernia.'

Tramer continued to walk though the library’s halls until he found Epotheros and Clover. Tramer approached the two and saw the book Epotheros had in his hand, Tramer took a quick look into the book and saw illustrations of humans with blue hair. Tramer found it odd that the people in the book had the same exact color of hair as Clover. Just as Tramer was about to say something someone grabbed Tramer’s shoulder, considering Tramer had not sensed anyone’s approached he instinctively unsheathed one of his swords and turned to face whomever was there, Tramer lunged his blade forward and stopped just as the tip of the blade touched the throat of however snuck up on him. Tramer stopped and lowered his sword as he saw a ghostly image of a butler in front of him “HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU NOT TO DO THAT!!” Tramer said in an irritated voice

“my patrons sir” the ghost said as he made a bowing motion “sir, may I ask who are gests are today” The ghost said as he looked toward Clover and Epotheros

“yes, this is Clover and Epotheros” Tramer said motioning his hands toward Clover and Epotheros. “aw, and this lively fellow here is Jon, he is the librarian” Tramer said as he motion his hands toward the ghost

Jon walked over toward Epotheros and took a quick glance at the book he held “aw, one of are books on the races of this world, that particular one is my favorite, its an original and was written by Sir Sorin Ga Zerith, truly a scholar of scholars” Jon said in a refined voice “is there any race in particular you are looking for? We might have something with more detailed information on them” Jon asked

After the shock factor wore off, Ty went to the area where Tramer, Epotheros, Clover, and a ghost-butler were congregated. He got to them in time to hear the last part of what the ghost said and determined that it must be some sort of librarian.
"Where did you get this!?" Ty asked as he showed them the small book with black pages.

Epotheros gave he a nod and added, "Well I do believe that is a possibility amd it is at least worth the time to take a look. We need to know what they did to capture Zant any way." He then added a warm smile. When the ghost made his apperence it slightly bothered Epotheros. He had never seen one before and had by no means any knowledge on what he should do if it decided to attack, but fortunatly it seemed to be a frien of Tramer's. Epotheros then responded to the ghost's question with, "Do you have any written information on the people of Sernia?"

Noticing Tramer's attention towards the book Clover quickly saw a transparent figure behind the mage. Clover tried to figure out what the being was. After some thought she realized that he must be a ghost. Apparitions weren't something Clover had ever seen before, but she had heard many tales of who the departed would sometimes stay on earth without completely passes to the beyond. She couldn't help but stare. No longer was her attention on her ancestors or how they could defeat Zant. No, she wondered how this ghost was there in a library. Then Tramer explained that the ghostly being was indeed the librarian. When Epotheros requested more information on the people of Sernia Clover smiled and hoped that Jon could help.

((Well, I'm gone until Friday... Til then bye-bye.))

“well it seems you are all full of questions, I’ll start with you” Jon said as he faced Ty “the book you hold was given to High Mage Torin by a man named Obsidian, it is one of the only books in this library I have not read, as far as I know only High Mage Torin has read it, so other than that I have no information on that book, my apologies” Jon said making a bowing motion “and now for your question, the occupants of Sernia were a proud people naturally gifted with control of water or wind, they also were gifted with powerful light magic thou only a few ever showed promise in that filed, what am I going on about, fallow me and I shall grab you the book” Jon said as he started to walk down the halls of the library. After walking for about fifteen minuets Jon stopped and faced the one of the walls lined with books, without even reading the title Jon reached up and grabbed a book “here we are” Jon said as he held out the book toward Epotheros “The Men and Women of Wind and Water, this book was also written by Sir Sorin Ga Zerith, it seems he was so fascinated by there culture that he wrote a book entirely on them, in this book contains everything Sorin observed during his time with them, thou in the book it tells of there entire civilization being destroyed, but it also tells of his time with the survivors that managed to escape to are lands, but his accounts end there, he then headed back to his home town and published his book, it is said when he returned to were the survivors had been he only found a grave yard littered with the dead bodies of the survivors, thou the story said that he didn’t find all the bodies of the people he knew so it was possible some of them escaped yet again” Jon said in a sad voice

Tramer took the book from Jon’s hand “I remember learning about this in history” Tramer said as he looked over at Clover could she be a descendent of the people that subdued Zant’s predecessor Tramer thought to himself as he held out the book toward Epotheros

“if you will please excuse me I must take my leave of you, but if you have anymore questions just yell my name and I will help you in any way I can” Jon said in a refined voice as he started to walk away form the group

“ok I’ll leave you two to read the book, I’m going to try and find Larien” Tramer said as he handed the book to Epotheros and then walked away form Epotheros and Clover

...given to High Mage Torin by a man named Obsidian...
Thoughts began rushing through Ty's head faster than he could control.
He was here!? But that means...he's actually older than me.
Ty turns to the final entry, and reads as it describes some of Obsidian's final hours, before his sudden death.
but that doesn't make any sense, unless...yes, this book was alive. It was part shadowbeast, and part shadowobject. A living book. That's got to be how he did it. and then the book kept writting itself, until they both died.
...High Mage Torin has read it...
!?!?!? I really need to talk with this man! Who is he!? How did they know each other!?...!!!
Ty began to read the entire book, finding it to be longer than it appeared. Minutes later, he finally finished.
so...they were school mates. There even stuff in here, i never would have imagined... ... ... "Amazing..." Ty unconsiously said outloud quietly.

"Wait!" Epotheros yelled after the spirit but it seemed to be too late, "do you know where we may find Sorin?" He then looked back to the book and then to Clover. "Did you ever hear of a man named Sorin from any of your family members? You were ten when.... I'm sorry pehaps I shouldn't dabble into your past."
He said to her and then turned back to the book. The book led on about how the people of Sernia were prudent and proud like the elves and saw themselves superior to other humans. They were also the only people who had access to the Roman's tecnology such as plumbing after the fall of the Roman empire. It also spoke of the land of Toneria, where fire and earth users lived. It said that the two wared with eachother for many years and both civilizations practically destroyed eachother. Even though the civilizations were destroyed large groups of people left and scattered across the continent leaving a total of several thousand people on each side. After the downfall the Sernians in attempt to keep their blood line pure would arrange a mate for the newborn children, in attempt that they would create a child of pure Sernian blood. As for the light users, they were a rare occurence and were quickly placed into the noble line soon after the Dark Lord Zant had been imprisoned. Most of this blood line though was lost in the war.

"Well that was interesting......" Epotheros said after closing the book. He then turned to Clover and placed one of his hands on hers, "Clover if it is not to much to ask, may you lead us to your village. I believe we may be able to gather some clues on how to defeate Zant, and maybe even find ways to increase your power."

Tramer laughed slightly as Epotheros yelled after the Jon trying to ask another question “JON!” Tramer yelled as he did the gostly figure appeared in front of Tramer

“yes, how may I help you sir” Jon said making a bowing motion

“you have to yell his name and he’ll apear before you” Tramer said still laughing “ok Epotheros here had a question about someone named Sorin, do you know of him” Tramer asked

“Serion? you will have to be more specific, there is a number of people that went by that name” Jon said as he faced Epotheros “if you could give a bit more info on this person, such as there full name or anything important they did in history, I might be able to help you” Jon said in a refined voice

As Jon spoke the hairs on Tramers neck started to stand up as his swords began to pump energy though his veins, Tramer felt as thou something was watching the group but couldn’t tell what is this what Torin meant by instincts Tramer thought to himself as the walked away from the group and started to head toward whatever he sensed. Tramer walked quietly though the library’s halls, as he walked the it seemed to be getting darker and darker. Tramer stopped seeing the area in front of him was pitch black even thou Tramer could see many torches still lit. Tramer started to walk forward into the darkness being drawn by an unseen force only to have someone grab his shoulder stopping him in his tracks

“stop” Torin said in a quit voce “this is no place for you” Torin said as he walked up beside Tramer

“what is this” Tramer asked looking into darkness

“this is were a special book is keep, a very dangerous book” Torin said with what almost sounded like hatred in his voice “down that hall resides a pedestal and on that lies a book, but not just any book, a book written by Zant’s master, the former dark high mage, in that book the soul of Zant’s master resides along with every last secret of dark magic” Torin said in a quiet voice “I do not know why he wished you to come to him but whatever the resin, it cant be good” Torin said calmly

“so the soul of the man the thought Zant everything he knows, is down that hall” Tramer said almost in disbelief “how in the world did you acquire it” Tramer asked in a cereus tone

“you know im old but you do not understand how old I truly am” Torin said cutting himself off “and it is not important” Torin said looking around

Tramer looked at Torin suspiciously wondering what was going on, what Troin was talking about and why he was being drawn to an object of such evil

When Jon appeared and begain to ask more information about Sorin, Epotheros felt like he should strangle Jon, if he could or at least take Clovers bow and shoot arrows at his face till it stopped being funny. "I want to know where Sorin Ga Zerith, the man who wrote this book, currently resides." Epotheros said while he pointed at the book in his hand.

“ow yes, Sir Sorin Ga Zerith, when he gave Torin this copy of his book he lived in a house he had built were he last seen the survivors, by now he is an old man if he still lives, High Mage Torin can tell the location of Sir Sorin‘s house” Jon answered “is there anything else I can help you with” Jon asked

“if you are to face Zant, all of you should see this” Torin said in a quiet voice to Tramer, as he did he used magic to instruct Jon to bring every there

Jon received Torin’s instruction “well it seems there is something Torin wishes to show you all, please fallow me” Jon said as he started leading Ty, Epotheros and clover to were Torin and Tramer was at. After Jon led them to Torin and Tramer he walked away to look for Larien

“Epotheros, have you found any useful info” Tramer asked

Book in hand, Ty followed as he was led to a place where the room was dark, even where the lights were lit. Tramer and the other man from before (he could only assume that man was High Mage Torin) were standing near the dark mass, apparently waiting for them.

"Some what, but it could be better," Epotheros muttered to Tramer as they passed eachother. Epotheros then stood with the others near Torin as he tapped his leather soled boot against the stone floor, "So what is it that you want to show us," Epotheros asked Torin, but could tell it had something to do with Zant.

After everyone had gathered Torin took a quick glance over the group “I wish to introduce you all to someone” Torin said as he began to walk into the darkness. Torin razed his right hand, as he did the a ball of light formed in his hand dispelling the darkness. This part of the library was very diffract form the rest, there were no books on the shelves only cobwebs and dust. Torin led the group down the hall way and into a mid sized circular room, the room was completely empty except for a pedestal in the center of the room and on the pedestal sat a large black book that seemed to absorb all the near by light. “before you lies a book written by the dark high mage Felsbine, Zant’s former master, in this book holds all the secrets of black magic, that ever existed and that will ever exist” Torin said as he opened the book, as he did and unimaginable dark power seped out of the book and washed over the group. Torin opened the book to the last page

Tramer walked up behind Torin as he opened the book and was almost overwhelmed by the dark energy the book emanated. Tramer then took a look at the page Torin had opened the book to and Tramer was shocked to see the words appearing on the page as if someone was writing. “what is going on” Tramer asked

“Felsbine’s soul survived but was bound to this book, thou he no longer lives he still dedicates himself to discovering the secrets of the dark arts” Torin said as the book began to glow “do not worry” Torin said simply as he backed away form the book, as he did a dark figure razed out of the book and lunged forward toward Clover, but was quickly stopped by chains attacked to his wrists and neck.

“AWWWWWW!! who dares disturb me” The figure said still half inside the book

“I am showing you all this so that you can get a taste for what Zant’s true power is like, thou Felsbine is bound to this book his soul has lost non of its potency” Torin said as he started to walk around the pedestal holding the book

“ow, in the void I senced that my apprentice has been quite busy” Felsbine said as he stared at clover “it was your DESPICABLE RACE!! That did this to me! But I hear that Zant learned from his masters mistakes and near to obliterated your entire race” Felsbine said in a cruel tone “how dose it fell to be one of the last of your kind” Felsbine said with an evil smirk on his face reviling his sharpened rotted teeth

“Zant’s has not yet reached this level of evil, thou is power is great he has not truly given himself over to the darkness” Torin said in a calm voice “and that may give you guys the chance to defeat him, but now you have seen what he might become if he is aloud to continue growing in power”

Tramer looked in ow as he saw this spirit coming out of the book Zant is ancient and this is his master Tramer thought to himself as he remembered Torin saying something about killing Zant’s master Could Torin really be that old, but how I know of no magic other than the dark arts that could prolong life Tramer continued to think to himself

Clover was overly perplexed by the information that the book held. She never thought that she was the last from such a proud and noble race. No, she had always seen herself in an extremely meek light. Now the words from Epotheros touched her numb emotions towards her past only a bit. The truth was that over the years Clover came to accept the destruction of her village, but still resentment towards Zant was evident. Not only had he desimated her past, but he manipulated Larien and was threatening the very peace of the world. There was no excuse for his actions. If Clover really had the power to defeat him then she would do so, just like her ancestors did long ago. Of course she had no doubt that she would need help, lots of help.

Nodding to his suggestion Clover answered Epotheros, "That would be a good idea. Though I haven't been there in a few years." She had visited it a few times out of curiosity, but nothing extraordinary ever popped up. Clover's thoughts took her away again, before she realized that Jon was leading them somewhere. When they reached the circular room she immediately felt a menacing presence. The darkness pulsed throughout the room and Clover felt as if her knees would double over. Fighting the sudden weakness cold chills racked up and down her spine.

The wicked figure intimidated Clover like nothing else, thou she felt brave and confident. Trying her best to hide her fear Clover kept a straight face and simply stared at the dark mage.
