He looked at her and blushed a little. "Th-thanks. Yours are pretty as well. I was always told they were-they were the color of rain," he said, somewhat quietly. He then noticed another girl walk in. Wow, alot of girls visted this room. He was reassured that the host club members were popular if so many girls visited their meeting room.

A soft smile broke out across Kuroi's lips, rounding the couch to sit next to Alcy. He reminded her a little bit of her brother Ketsueki, but with a few more manners and a lot more shiness. He was cute, but he was no Hitori. Holding herself like one who was brought up to be very proper and mannerful, her fingers laced themselves together and rested in her lap. This was the pose she took up when seeing a potential new member for the Black Magic Club.
"So Shinji-kun, what kind of things are you interested in?"

Okami cried out as she fell. She caught herself with her hands, but only about an inch from the floor. The girl muttered a curse as she attempted to struggle to her feet. The skirt was not helping.

He looked into Kuroi's eyes, as if to look into her soul. He did that alot. He was about to speak when he noticed a girl fall. He rushed over to her and attempted to help her up. "Excuse me ma'am, are you okay?" he asked.

"I think so," she said, grateful for a helping hand, yet embarassed to have bothered the young man from his conversation with Kuroi. She took his hand and got up shakily. "Thank you so much. I'm so sorry about that."

He smiled to her. "Don't worry, it's no trouble at all, really! I'm Shinjika, or Shinji, for short." He realized that he had left Kuroi-san to help this girl. He hoped he wasn't being rude. The last thing he needed was someone thinking ill thoughts of him. Yet, he couldn't let this girl go troubled on her own.

"I'm Okami," she said with a smile. "Pleased to have met you. Thank you again. But, please. Don't let me stop your conversation with Kuroi-san." She bowed slightly to him and then slipped back out the door. ((And I'm off...))

Oh Kuroi wasn't thinking ill-thoughts of her new aquaintance, but instead was thinking about how much her father would like him. Not something she would want, but it always came to her mind. Only objection her father would have for him is that he looked too girly and weak. Watching him help Okami, she simply smiled and waited for him to return.

He looked at her. "Again, no apology is needed! Heh.." He then returned to his spot on the couch where he had spoken to Kuroi. "Well, you had asked me of my interest. That I don't really know for sure, except for my love for books and any type of learning." He looked downward, hoping Kuroi wouldn't think him odd.

"Interesting. Not many people are into books now adays, so it's very interesting to hear that from you. Tell me, what do you think of Black Magic?"
She was going to move in slowly, and then smack the question on him like she always did. Usually it was turned down, but it was a good tactic none the less.

He looked at her curiously. To ask about something so specific whenever not much of their conversation pertained to the subject seemed suspicious to him. He tried to think back to any novels he read. Alot of the time, when a situation occured that confused him, he tried to remember a situation much similar to it in a novel he head read so he could know what to do. In this case, he figured she was either trying to get to something, or she was making conversation on a subject she found interest in. He took it as the second, for now.
"I'm not sure, really. I've read a little about it, but I don't know to much on the subject. Why do you ask?"

Shrina was greeted by a slightly less noisy room... She noticed that every girl was with a guy, cute guys, and forgot whatever headache she had and whatever reason why her parents sent her to Japan...
she waited patiently a foot away from the door... "I wonder what this could be..." she thought...

Kuroi simply smiled, her grip on her own hands tightening for a moment before loosening themselves.
"I was just wanting to see what my newest friend knew about the subject. Being the Vice-President of the Black Magic Club, of course it would be a wonder of mine. Do you think that you would ever delve into the Dark Arts if invited to, just for the learning experience?"

He nodded. The Black Magic Club...he had never heard of that. But then again, he had never heard of the otehr clubs that existed at Ouran. All anyone talked about was the Host Club. He thought about her offer. He did like the sound of learning about something so interesting, yet she couldv'e hav been using the word "learn" just to get his attention, due to the fact that he had previously told her he hardly passed up a chance to learn.
"Well to tell the truth, I can not give you an answer right this moment, but I surely can think about it and give you your answer sometime soon," he said, sincerely.
He gave her a warm smile, as if to make sure she didn't find out he had any suspicious of her reasoning.

"And that's all that I can ask for. Isn't that right Bereznoff?"
From seemingly nowhere a yellow-beige colored cat puppet appeared on her left hand. It was very similar to what Nekozawa had riding on his hand, but her's was accessorized with a small black bow with a skull to center it. The puppet waved ove paw at Shinji, then rubbed both paws together. He was pleased that the seed of his name was planted into this boy's mind.
