Sam stood up. She had heard someone yelling.
Sam walked over to where Kenji was standing and saw it too. Kakashi was dying.
"Ka-Kakashi?"
((I've gotten TONS of mail from kakashi. Should i let him be my friend. And do you want me to send all of the messages he's sent me to you?))

Kenji walked over to examine the body of his friend, warily, he then whipped around, hoping that Zaan wouldn't see the large pool of blood.
(Unless he's asking for stuff from you, don't worry about sending 'em, his multiple personal lives are his own business...)

Zaan chuckles, having heard Kenji's thoughts. "C'mon guys... I'm not that bloodthirsty... besides, I already fed." Then he settles down, obviously thinking about something.

Seeing Kakashi's finger twitch, Kamataro realized that he wasn't dead. Pulling a dagger out from his boot, he walked over to the corpse and stabbed it through the heart, severing many blood vessels as well as the spinal cord.
"With that ended, let's move on to your adversary, Zaan."

Zaan raises an eyebrow at Kenji's actions then chuckles. "So you've finally shown your true feelings for him...I was wondering how long you'd put up with him..."

"Well, where on Earth did you assume the arrow came from?" Kenji said, grinning.
From there, he walked up to the reigns and looked ahead at the trail.

Zaan chuckles again. "Well...nice shot." Zaan returns to the reins of the wagon after tossing the corpse out on the road. "We're off. We need to go see another clanmate of mine before we head after Kaven."

Kenji looks at Zaan with a puzzled look on his face.
"Well, I'd assume we're close, the wagon's been moving this whole time..."
He looked around again, spotting a small cave and an inn near it.

Zaan nods and looks closely at the Inn. "He's in there. And uh...step lightly around Grevelle." He goes back to the wagon and tell the ghoul with them that she's free to stay at the Inn when the group leaves. "But for now, let's wait for Sam to wake."

Kenji enters slowly, checking every corner of the inn before moving. He puts a hand reassuringly on his sword, walking with a bit more confidence.

Zaan looks to the Inn, and then the wagon. "Kenji, listen to me carefully. Go in to the Inn, and get a room for... listen carefully... get a room for an elder, and two thinbloods. The innkeep will know what you mean. Do not, under any circumstances, just order 3 rooms. It won't end well." Zaan strides into the wagon after giving his orders and does not emerge for a while.

Kenji does as he's told, stopping himself by sheer force of will from asking about three rooms. After the ordering is done, he turns back to Zaan, mildly confused.

Zaan enters the Inn with a sleeping Sam in his arms. He carries her as if she weighs nothing. "Kenji...show me to our rooms. I'll put Sam in one, and show you around."

Kenji senses Tess getting closer and smiles warmly, walking into one of the rooms after Zaan.
"So how many rooms do we have now, or what's going on?"

Zaan closed his eyes and cast his awareness out. "She'll be fine. She's with another Tremere. They'll take care of her. They know what types of rooms to ask for." Then he laid Sam down on the bed and smiled. "There. She'll sleep through the night. C'mon, we'll go back downstairs and I'll introduce you to the clan."
