Hitomi numbly noted that Keiko was leaving. She stopped fighting. She forced her eyes to stay open. She turned from fighting to stay sane to fighting to stay awake. Two sides of the same coin, aren't they? Ki wasn't there. Chisaki wasn't there. Kon wasn't there. Two of them had seen her at her weakest. The other one never would. She was grateful for that small comfort. She could never let her see her like this. Her eyes were fluttering, all the colors in the room blurring together.

Meanwhile, outside...
"Go on, Ayame-san. Bring Shikamori to an empty room or something..." A sigh. "Now...that'll definitely be one heck of an injury to heal..." And only kami-sama knew how bad exactly Zephyr was at healing broken hearts... The young Hyuuga Jounin just nodded and began dragging the Nara. Hm...maybe this was a bad idea... Members of Yokou's clan weren't exactly known to be physically strong... "Hey, on a second thought, I'll help carry him..." "It's fine, Zephyr-sama." Zephyr hesitated, slightly taken aback by the brusque tone. Oh dear...did he offend her...?
Argh! Damn their sensitivity! "Look..." He began impatiently. "I'm not insinuating anything, merely wanting to cut the time we spend here. The smell of sterilization chemicals is getting to me..." A pause. "No..." The Hyuuga teenager replied. "Because that will inconvenience Zephyr-sama." And before he could say anything else, she proceeded to struggle along the hall, half dragging the Nara along.
Zephyr wasn't left alone for long. Before long after Ayame disappeared as she turned a corner, a nurse was coming up the stairs... And heading to Marcus' room! There was no way he could let another see...ahem...that... And so, inwardly cursing at his luck, Zephyr put on his best display of wide, glistening childish-puppy eyes...the slightest extension of his lowest lift, and gave a theatric (although convincing) sniff... To a complete stranger, he just looked like a cute eight year old child and being dressed in civilian clothes helped (black baggy t-shirt and shorts)...making him seem as if he was one of the children of the Iwa merchants.
Unable to help herself, the nurse stopped short from entering the Tsuchikage's room. "Oh my! Are you lost, dear?" Kami-sama...he wanted to die. And a quick death, right now. But Zephyr bit back his pride, and shook his head. Before bursting into crocodile tears. "N-no..." A gulp. "Mummy is taking so long seeing the doctor...I..." Another sniff. Big wide green-gold orbs, a surprisingly piercing color, contacted the nurse's pale hazel.
"I-I...need to use the bathroom..." To convince the nurse further, Zephyr rubbed at the corner of his eyes...
"Oh! Dear, there's a bathroom inside all the single-patient rooms... Tsuchikage-sama should be asleep, so using it should be fine..." And to Zephyr's utmost horror, the nurse reached for the knob.
"Don't!" Perhaps it was because of the ferocity with which he said it, or his chakra levels that he had been suppressing suddenly spiked, because the nurse looked at him curiously. "I mean..." Tears began fountaining again. "Sammy is scared of strangers..."
At this, the nurse chuckled. "Tscuhikage-sama might act like an idiot, but he's not a bad person, despite trying hard to seem so. So come, don't be scared." And before the "child" could protest, he was dragged into the room.

Oh! How embarrassing...how could she answer that...?
The door clicked opened, and alert, Yokou's attention snapped to the visitor. It was Sensei, dragged by the hand by a nurse. "Oh." The nurse seemed mildly surprised. "I see that Tsuchikage-sama is awake..." To Zephyr, she said: "Dear, the bathroom is in there." Zephyr flushed scarlet. "T-thank you..." He managed out. The nurse probably feel that she was intruding, but that a "child"'s presence was ok, so went outside to wait. The door shut with a click.
The "child" looked traumatized and promptly ran to Yokou, wrapping small arms around her. "Waaaaah! Yokou, you won't guess what I had to do to try and get her away..." His bottom lip trembled and his eyes began tearing up again. "And it didn't even work, too...!" Yokou sweatdropped. And here Zephyr was, playing the role of a eight-year old surprisingly well... Awkwardly, she petted him on the head. But just like his childish nature, the Senju head never intentionally means any harm... Remaining surprisingly pure, even though so much blood had stained him...
"Arigatou, sensei..." She whispered. Her expression grew hesitatnt. "You're not going to reprimand...?" A strange expression crossed the childish features. "Eh? Should I be? I think Marcus-san is a great guy for Yokou!"
Uh-huh, great guy...for her...wait a minute... What the heck was that supposed to mean? Yokou crushed her knuckles against the side of Zephyr's head. A noogie for kids... Her face flushing, she ignored his face of protest (Zephyr's expression: >_<)."You got the wrong idea, sensei!"
"Ow! Ow! Yokou is a meanie!" He rubbed at the stinging parts of his head, but suddenly stopped, and he looked up worriedly. "Yokou isn't mad at me, right?" She smiled in response. "I can't get mad at a little kid now, can I?" She rubbed his head gently this time, ruffling the Senju's once neat hair.
Remembering something important, Zephyr turned his attention to Marcus. "Ah! That's right...Marcus-san, may I ask for a favour...?" "Sensei!" Yokou looked disapprovingly, crashing her knuckles to the sides of his head once more in a noogie. "Oof. Yuuko!" His expression became pleading. "It's not something mischievous as you think, I promise!"
Yokou looked suspicious. "Oi...the last time, in case you have forgotten, Ame was quite angry over Elruda..." "B-because..." The childish face grew guilty. "Yuuko had always looked so sad..."
Taken aback by his words...surely, some of the surprise had shown on her face. It was...for her sake...? "Yuuko! Please...this..." He tugged gently at her sleeve, tone pleading. "It's...for the children."

Marcus simply smiled at this development. However, it gave way for quite a lovely discovery. As she was so violently involved in discipline her sensei, she had forgotten about the booze that had been brought in earlier that she hid. He was walking off towards the booze and picked it up, “Oooh, the good stuff.”
The nurse, completely lost in the string of events, looked from one person to another. She had heard the word ‘sensei’ in reference to the child… at least she believed that she was hearing that. A few various looks crossed the nurses face but they all came back to the calm demeanor she came into the room with as she saw the Tsuchikage searching for something. “Do you need something sir? You shouldn’t be up.” She began to move over towards him and that’s when her eyes fell upon the bottle. “Sir! You shouldn’t have these sorts of things in your room! They are not conducive to you getting better.” And so it began.
Marcus looked to the nurse. At first he had a rather vacant look upon his face but as he studied the look upon the woman’s face, he realized who he was speaking too. An girl he knew as a kid who was strong into healing people… so much so to where her methods of getting people to the proper caregivers usually made matters worse. He could have a cut on his hand, by the time all the arguing and dragging was done, he’d have 2 broken ribs, a fractured arm and he was sure he was bleeding somewhere, he just wasn’t sure where.
Sure, Marcus was the Tsuchikage, the strongest ninja in the village but considering he didn’t have the heart to hurt women, specially those just doing their job, he knew one thing and one thing for sure… he was screwed.
She began to reach out for the bottle, “Sir! Give it to me.”
Thinking quickly, he pointed over to Yokou, “She did it! She brought it in! You saw me just pull it out from around her! I didn’t know it was here.” Marcus passed the bottle to Yokou and went back over to the bed to lay down, “I thought it might be medician. She IS a medical specialist and all. Oh wow is me…”
“LADY HYUUGA!” The nurse turned to Yokou (picture the hellish fire and this woman being like 20 times bigger than everyone in the room with horns and breathing fire) “How COULD you!? As a member of the medical community, you should know better…” her ranting continued on and all the while, Marcus simply grinned to Yokou, even winked and blew a kiss to her.

Yokou sighed, as the image of the angry nurse seem to magnify within each passing second and (though not being accustomed to hearing loud noises), patiently allowed the storm to come and pass. Well, she supposed it was kind of her fault...since Shikamori was her teammate, and he was the one who brought them... If one had entered the room at this moment, they would've sworn the words stampeding out of the angry nurse's mouth was a scene not very much unlike that of a giant hair dryer blowing straight at the Hyuuga leader, hair in high ponytail seeming to follow the mysterious wind (expression: =_='' ).
In a more normal circumstance, she would have wondered why she was getting blamed (heck, she was the victim here!) but then again, when it came to anything having to do with Sensei or Shikamori...now, that was rarely normal.
Actually, on a second thought...seems Marcus made it to that list too...
On the other hand, since no one was watching, Zephyr took to the liberty of uncorking another sake bottle and propping happily onto an empty chair, began drinking in large gulps from the sake bottle. That seemed to have caught the nurse's attention. And her eyes...boy, did they really bulge (Sakura fury mode expression). Swiping the bottle from his hands...Zephyr got his third noogie in a day (expression: >_<'' ), yelling 'OWOWOWOW' while flailing.
However, right following this particular scene... And that was how poor Yokou got blamed for allowing "children to get a hold of liquor" too...enduring a second round of colossal hair dryer blowing mode...

Marcus was having fun... at least he was but... what was this? First she bore no ill will towards him and his failed attempt at finding her lover and now she simply sat there, silently... letting this woman blare her voice at her for no good reason. She had nothing really to do with it but Yokou allowed herself to become the target of this rant.
Silently, he sat up and looked to the nurse. "Enough..." his voice had changed... it didn't hold that same carefree lazy manorism that they would be use to. The nurse would know this tone and instantly stop. Marcus sat there silently and glared to the woman. There was a deep silence within the air as Marcus looked over to them, each in turn moving from Yokou, to the nurse to Zephyr.
"The boy is a full grown man using an advanced version of henge. Take him from this room to their companion of the Nara clan. He's the one that brought the bottle that I bore that began this. Chastize them as you see fit, deny them medical treatement if you wish but do not merly jump to conclusions based on someone elses words...leave... now..."
The nurse now looked like the frightened one. She did as she was told and grabbed Zephyr by the ear and lead him out of the room. Marcus saw the door close and crossed his arms...

For a long moment, Yokou was quiet, but then a small smile came across her pretty face, and then laughter... Quiet laughter, but delighted, like the melodic rustling of windchimes against the spring breeze. "Thank you but...it's alright." She said, finally, chuckling softly, as she rubbed at her eyes. "I didn't mind. In fact, it's..." Her voice trailed off. "...nice being treated like human beings again... I'm sure, Shikamori too and Sensei...hold it very dearly in their hearts too, this stay in Iwa..." A soft pause. "...where there's no need for the mask appropriate of the Kage, the Hunter-nin, the Sannin or clan Elder..." It surprised herself even, how honestly she had spoken these words, from her heart...
And it was true...during the past few months in Iwa, the transformation of the war-weary Konoha group had relaxed, into a much more calmer demeanor. The Jounins were less cautious, less jumpy when addressed to...less suspicious...even every now and then able to crack a joke... And certainly, they and the leaders of their group had probably slaughtered countless of the Fire Master's army that had pursued them...yet little by little, a peaceful life was remedying the pains senseless blood staining their hands had brought.

Marcus sat there for a long moment... he looked off into the distance and then over to her... no past her. He wasn't looking to her or anything in particular, just looking, "I left Iwa... hehehe who am I kidding, I was expelled from Iwa for not being a Taida." He wouldn't explain what that meant... he didn't care too. He simply said it as if its meaning would automatically translate to her. He knew it would but, then again, a little curiosity was always fun.
"I didn't start off as a porn star ya know. I went out into the world just to travel. I was an actor... did some small parts, extra work really. But apparently, the long stubborn arm of the Taida stretched a lot farther than I thought. Couldn't get any decent rolls to save my life. And then, one day I was approached by this chick. Seemed nice enough and real homely. She invited me over to her place... not like I had much else to do. I was down to my last yen and had just gotten the boot from a shelter somewhere around oto... a SHELTER mind you. Something about too much noise..."
He laughed a little then looked up, "Turns out that she was co-owner of an undergroup porn ring. Ninja Erotics it was... I doubt someone as pure as you and your family has even heard of it, let alone know what they delt in. Anyway, that's how I got my start but I got to see the world. I've been places that people in these ninja villages have never even heard of. I've eaten things that you probably wouldn't feed your worst enemy. And ya know what?" he looked to her, "I want to show them to you too."
He had never shared his story with anyone. But she had shared so much of herself with him, he felt obligated... no... he just felt that she deserved to know.

Now in a room nearby, Zephyr (still hugging the sizeable jar of sake) backed away with a sweatdrop as the nurse glared at him, having slammed the door shut. The noise awakened Ayame, who had apparently fallen asleep in her chair guarding the unconscious Nara. The Hyuuga cast her curious gaze to the door. The next thing she knew, the small raven-haired child had attached himself to her back like a koala bear and was frantically whispering: 'she's scarrry (expression: ;_; )!'
"So..." Began the nurse in a terrifying tone. "What have you got to say for yourself?" "I-I didn't bring the liquor, I swear!" Zephyr yelled back (expression: >._.>), hiding further closer to Ayame.
The said Hyuuga teen sighed. What did Zephyr do again to piss someone off...? "Miss, we're here to receive..." She explained, pointing to Zephyr. "...this guy's blood and health tests." The nurse paused. "Blood and health tests...? Generally you would schedule an appointment to allow some time for the reading...but...the only patient today scheduled under emergency testing was..." She flipped open the folder she was carrying.
"...an extremely odd phenomenal... Though the patient's DNA components fits that of norm...cells have a limited number of times they can divide but this patient's body...still has the ability to produce stem cells, that then further specializes to replace lost or dead cells... This immune system too...is borderline abnormally strong..."
"Arigatou." The Henge had been dropped somewhere during the nurse's report. Where the child had been, not a handsome raven-haired young man stood, green-gold eyes piercing into the nurse's own hazel ones. The child-like warmth had long left their depths, and they were instead cold...calculating...like that of a man who had hunted many...yet also there was a certain proud dignity in the way he beheld himself, like a prince, like a king.
"However, I only requested a test not an analysis. So please. Do tell me..." His tone was fairly friendly and a smile crossed his lips, but they did not light those green-golden orbs. "Is this the original copy?" The nurse backed away instinctively, feeling suddenly as if she was prey being cornered. "Yes.." She lied, for in fact they had kept a copy of the documents...how could they not? This was honestly an interesting phenomenal...
"You are lying." The Senju told her coldly, yet calmly. "But that's fine...your scientists can study them all they wish. For now, I'll take these documents back but you should be wary...before speaking of such things with disgusting awe..." With that said, he turned away, demeanor almost displaying anger...?

She listened attentively...patiently...and when his story ended...silent tears trailed down her face. Yet Yokou claimed she was alright, insisted, as she rubbed at her eyes. The stories of others always moved her heart and...she couldn't help, but allow the magic spell to enable her to speak...of those days long gone by...yet still remaining painfully fresh...
"I...want to see... E-even...even if it would've been more painful..." Her voice was close to a whisper now. "Family...? I would've preferred not to be the bird raised in the gilded cage." A soft pause. "Father never wanted me, he would've much more preferred a male heir...and my mother died giving birth to me... He loved her so much even after her death...and greatly resented me for taking her life..." Her expression became pained. "I don't remember much of my earlier years...no...it was because I didn't want to remember them...wishing always for the memories to be locked away... It wasn't even him who raised me...but my step-mother... And she later borne him a son...yet father did not give the inheritance to her child... She despised me for that."
"I...only remember her beatings...an endless cycle...and pushed into a path I did not want... Father didn't care...why should he? If I was to be raised as the heir, "I should be raised like a boy". A beating should mean nothing. And this pride of mine...so I hid the truth... My problems were no other's concern... Until one day, my step-mother nearly killed me during her...daily ritual... She had actually utilized Juuken on me... Father disposed of her then." A maddening smile had set on her lips. "Though it was wrong, I rejoiced... I knew her punishment, the punishment for injuring the clan's "princess" now that the truth was known... Yet, even when she was tried and...murdered...I couldn't stop myself from crying."
"No matter what...she was still the only mother I had in childhood... Perhaps...somewhere...I had hoped she would one day even.................. After then, I always knew I wanted to use Byakugan for something else...something better...to help others..." She clenched her hands tightly. "I...had despised the clan from the bottom of my heart...and those hypocritical words...what princess...? Head family, branch family...more than anything, I...wanted a normal family..."
"If...I had been born into a normal family, would life perhaps had been happier...? The Academy, even the Academy which was suppose to foster relationships between the children, was only a blur of faces and voices in my memory... At first, it had intrigued me. Somehow, being Hyuuga right away shuts me in some sort of transparent sphere, that neither I nor any other could seem to hope to penetrate. They gave expectations...assuming 'genius' of whatever had been done, not considering the work placed into such feats. What was so special about my family, the old and young with sullen, dark faces, anyways?" A pause. "...because of the eyes..." A bitter laugh. "...the devil's eyes, it had always been about the kekkai genkai... Is it not amusing? What sets off a human being, is...such an impertinent factor..."
"I don't know about prodigy but it was hard work...all those long hours of training that made me ahead of the others in my class...but there was one assignment that was given that I could not answer...what is home...? Is home just a building, cold and imposing...? I had only given questions as answers. Even so...even so..."
"Meeting Sensei, free and wild as the wind, Shikamori...and...him, Museifu...Genin memories suddenly became precious... The bird in the cage doesn't give up her dream of flying, and I began dreaming again...but...because of me..." Her voice trailed off. "That dream was torn apart again...and Museifu's betrayal destroyed whatever ephemeral happiness the little box-garden brought... They...changed...Sensei became cold and distant, at first rejoining the hunters and then altogether...he left the village... And Shikamori...Shika, who was almost murdered by our own teammate...blamed himself for not being able to protect me, while it was I who was able to do nothing..."
Self-scorn... "I.........gomen......." Her voice broke off. "Remembering Museifu still hurts..." She would continue her story another time. "I'm sorry...it must bore you to hear me ramble..." A small laugh, a half suppressed sob, and she closed her eyes ruefully, with the slightest shake of her head. "I am not pure or strong or anything like that...nothing like the supposed goddess of war my comrades makes me out to be... The only thing I am good for...though I had honestly hoped to save..."
She opened her eyes again, gesturing at her blade. Kusanagi...the sword from the tale of the eight-headed serpent, the tragic blade that had soaked in so much blood throughout history's cruel course... The mark of the serpent and the devil's eyes, irrevocably, linked to her. "...is creating a mountain of corpses...." A weapon...
Konoha's prize birds, the Hyuuga clan...merely exotic weapons the village refuses to cede to any other...

[[oooooh s**t that was so…. Sooo…. T.T *tears up*]]
Marcus sat there… somewhere along the lines he had gathered a reed from the grass and was chewing on it. His eyes hadn’t left her but they had gone vacant again. But in them, there still sat something… something strange. They were vacant, yes, but almost piercing. They were glaring into her heart as she spoke. He was reading her as if he was reading a book. Every word flipped through thousands of more volumes of text. He read everything from the breath she took, to how she took it to when she took it. He glimpsed to her body and scanned her slowly and silently. In the past, it would be easy to say he was doing this for rather sick means but this time, he had no real reason behind it.
The more she spoke, the more distant she became and it was in this time that he took to moving about. He slipped from the bed, almost with no notice as far as shifting and motions were concerned. His steps were something to make any shinobi proud as they made not an audible squeak. Shifted like a wraith, he comes to the front of her and sits across from her.
Her story is one that he listened too with deep ears and I silent mouth. There had been others in life whom complained of their lives and Marcus cared very little. Many times, there were things they could do to change the problems of their lives but they were just too weak to do them. But this woman… this woman was dealt a violent hand and yet she grew beyond it. Her heart… as scared as it was, was still trying. She was a bird that still searched for a dream.
He knew that she had much to be thankful for but after so much pain, it could be hard to see through the darkness.
Her words finished, her eyes glaring at the blade on her side. His eyes, still fixated on her. It was at this time that he understood what he had to do. Taking her hand within his, he balled it up into a fist and made his other hand into a fist as well.
“Memory! Dreams! Reality!” He shook both their hands 3 times and released the sign for peace while leaving her hand as a fist.
“Bah… Reality. You beat my dreams. Fine, I’ll take your Reality and you can have my dreams. My dream to live as I wish.”
He did it again, “Memory! Dreams! Reality!” This time his free hand clasped and he moved her hand to point to herself. “Oh Come on! Memories?! Really? Memories make peaceful reality so you beat mea… again.” His years of acting were showing as he was truly portraying a look of anger.
“Fine… fine. Take my memories and give me those horrid little pieces of crap you call reality.” He looked crossed but then he released her hands and looked off to the distance.
His voice became very calm and relaxed, obviously his normal way of speaking. “I’ll take your painful reality and give you my oddest dream; You have grown as much as you can from them. I’ll take your memories and replace them with the reality of living life the way you wish. This is what I’ll give to you.”
He never really cared this much about anyone… but he was growing on her… or other way around. He sighs a little and looks up. The mood was set but, he couldn’t really deal with it as is. His lips parted and, in two words, he broke it all, “I’m horny…”

With Marcus' promise...Yokou couldn't help but admitting: "My dream..." She closed her eyes. "...is a place where little Elruda can grow up happy, free to be the child she is...a place where Sensei, Shikamori, and all the others..." Her voice broke off, expression pained. "When they would never have to worry about soiling their hands red...yet..." A small smile crossed her lips. "...am I speaking such strange things...? To say such of the very principles that separates the shinobis from the civilians... But I don't believe it is so strange..." She whispered, voice growing softer. "I don't find it strange to wish for peace..."
And then... Well, normally, a Hyuuga probably would've been very offended by such uncouth words (and out of place) words that had ensued but She however had taken it as that Marcus was trying to dispel the quickly depressing mood in his own odd way... However, before Yokou could say a witty response in reply...
At the door, huffing indignantly, a veinpop seemed to have taken up its place on Hyuuga Elruda's temple. Having only come in not for so long, perhaps during the end of Yokou's shared story... Either way, neither Marcus' latest words nor the current scene helped her conclusion... And well, she was kind of right in some respects. Her [removed]( neutral ) seemed to scream: Okaa-san, don't let smooth talkers hit on you!!! But her expression quickly changed...
Now, Elruda (with Sakeme following) had searched some time for Yokou through the village after they parted momentarily after breakfast (and with the help of the villagers, the trail returned to the hospital... - figures, sniffed Elruda -), and as according to the arrangements between Wrath's uncle and her mother, the child meant to bid to her mother goodbye before the return trip to Ame for her training. Of course, visits home weren't objected to by either party, however...Konoha probably had some major village renovations to make after being held so long in the Fire Master's possession. The fact that the villagers protested in every way they could, including forms of economic boycott, didn't help the need...probably made it worse, and now replacing rotting and deteriorating parts of the village would be a priority.
In other words, she probably might not get to see her mother for quite a good while, unless by some miracle of chance the Council of Elders would allow Yokou a 'vacation break' to visit her daughter. Ame and Konoha might not be that far away from each other yet...knowing the other Elders...well, the chances of THAT was fairly set along zero. So she had insisted that they stay a little longer so she could spend more time with her mother...
"No!" The child began groaning, hands clutching at her head, half-shaking, half-tearing at her shorter midnight-blue hair. And then (think about the teary-eyes of fury declaration of war)...with finger pointed at Marcus... "NO! No no no! No one else can take otou-san's place!!"
"Elda, you misunderstood...!" The child refused to be silenced. "ELDA!" Yokou raised her voice and this time, though she was still crying, the child had calmed down a bit. "Come child..." Elruda shuffled across the room, drawing closer. "B-but, okaa-san!" She began. "Shh, child..." Yokou gently pressed her right index and middle fingertips against the child's forehead. "We're in a hospital, right?"
Did...did the last words between mother and daughter perhaps have a deeper meaning? As Elruda's eyes had widened, and she nodded, seemingly reassured. As long as Elruda had remembered, the hospital was her mother's sanctuary...the place where she always seemed happiest...and also that, sick people need a doctor but healthy people don't... If she did not want to replace the special pedestal in her heart that she had held for her father...she did not have to...
"Okaa-san..." Elruda opened her arms, demanding a hug. Her mother obliged. "I'm leaving for Ame soon...I'll miss you, (Uncle) Shikamori-jii-chan, and (Uncle) Zephyr-jii-chan..." A soft pause. "I'm going to train hard, so that one day...I can surpass okaa-san's shadow, and become a great wise Sannin!" A laugh, almost as if the child ridiculed the absurdity of her own "distant goal" but then whispered.
"Okaa-san...what Zephyr-jii-chan asked me before...what I couldn't answer...I think I know my answer now..." The child closed her eyes. "For me, Konoha and Ame are two sides of the same coin. Different, yet inseparable - both, irrevocably precious." A pause, and she opened her eyes, fully gazing into her mother's eyes. "I want to be a Sannin, not for the title or power...but that I'll be able to travel freely and can act as the bridge between Konoha and Ame."
Young, yet she already knew what to do with her life...

Sakeme ran as fast as her legs would take her. Kid1 Wait up1 You're running too fast! Please! Stop! NOW! The sounds of her pounding feet echoed in the silent, or not so silent, halls of the hospital. Taking suck a quick turn into a room, Elruda had stopped so suddenly and with such an outburst, Sakeme almost ran right into the child but was able to stop herself in the nick of time... Holy cow... I almos tpummeled this kid... I'll have to work on my reflexes later... Looking at the man Elruda had pointed the accusing finger at, Marcus... the Kage of Iwagakure, and then to Lady Youko. She didn't understand at all what was going on. Replace otou-san? Was the kage trying to replace Elruda's dad? With somewhat of a confused expression she folded her arms across her chest and leaned in the door way, just listening to what the two were saying. It was somewhat of a family-like moment... whatever those were. So the kid really is commintg back to Amegakure... that's good. Less conflict this way...

Marcus blinked a few moments and looked to the exchange between mother and child. The word Otou-san ran back and forth in his mind and, out of no where, he burst into a hard laugh. He almost feel from the bed but caught himself. tears had weld up in his eyes and he had to whip them away. "Good grief."
He sat there and grinned a good deal. Reaching out, he began to rub the childs hair, completly messing it beyond all repair. "Me? A dad? Please! If I didn't get any kids out of my last profession, I doubt I'll get one now. I'm sterel." He said it with a smile but had to close his eyes to hide his pain.
He was in his 30's, had learned so much but because of his career path, not to many folks would exactly let their kids spend time around him. Bad influence and all that. He had gotten over it but still..."Bah, I wouldn't want to take nobodies place. Too much work to be perfectly honest. I'm me, and your dad was himself. We are different people. Sides, I seriously doubt I'm your mom's type. oo brash and uncooth ya know. Still don't have a clue what the ver-chew stuff is you guys talk about. I'm guessin Hyuuga have a bigger sweet tooth than I thought." He smiled again.
"But don't take life so seriously. You only get one far as we know so live it one day at a time. And..." he stood and moved toward the window, "if you really want to see the world and be free, when you become legal, go into porn. A Hyuuga porn star would make a mint." He burst into laughter again.
[[>.> I'm mad cause now that I think about it, I believe that last part is true]]

Elruda scowled, the expression odd on her pretty features, arms a blur of motion trying to fix her hair, yet...when the movement ended (with the child huffing and puffing for a breathing break) she only succeeded in making it look worse. She glared up at Marcus, expression fierce, but the aura around the child was not antagonistic. "Marcus-han is an...idiot!" She proclaimed and then folded her arms...seemingly pleased in having come up with an adequate adjectival phrase. But then the hostile facade dropped, and her shoulders drooped a little.
"pfffffk...for some funny reason, I can it so clearly...and don't even need Byakugan...huh?" The words were muttered, somewhat uncertainly, almost warily chewed out. "...I don't get the feeling Marcus-han is as free as he claims to be...if so...then..." Elruda frowned up at him. "...what's up with that bitter, pathetic attempt at a smile, anyways, hunh?! EWWWW!" The child stomped her foot, throwing up her hands. "That's like the smile okaa-san wears everytime she goes to talk to the Hyuuga council..." Elruda wrinkled her nose in disdain. "...so...................FAKE..."
"Oh yeah..." Elruda reached into her bag, pulling out a porn magazine...probably one of those earlier Marcus had shown to Zephyr back in the curry cafe...to prove that the Amekage's cousin really indeed was in the series... Knowing the two culprits involved, and especially the latter (Zephy), who was probably more intrigued over swaying the cafe manager to sell him liquor...probably had dropped it by accident... Well...let's ignore Yokou's absolutely stunned expression for now.
"By the way, this series sucks. What's up with the cheesy lines here anyways?" Elruda flipped through the pages, quickly pointing to random scenes (yes...totally "considerate" daughter her...her poor mother). "Pffft. If these are the winning lines men use, it's pretty pathetic..." Elruda held the magazine closer for a moment, expression growing distant. "It's..................*cold..........." She murmured. Did her words have another meaning (not just the magazine physical temperature)...?
And then she handed the magazine back to Marcus, a cheeky grin on face. "So nope, no thank you. I wouldn't break myself even if offered pay. Because, without feelings, 'this' (physical relations) means nothing." So, she had...
"Eh, I still don't get the fate crap okaa-san preaches and I dunno about Kami-sama if he's there...but I do think...for everyone...there's a special person... So I'll wait for mine!" Another pause. "Oh by the way..." A demonic grin, very un-Hyuuga like for that matter, crossed the little princess' face. If one looked from the direct contact angle, flames from hell that seemed to have come up from nowhere added background effect. "Okaa-san is mine...fufufufu...I will share her with nobody!!! Nobody at all~! Huh, eh?! Okaa-san are you ok.......?!"
What a strange, elfish child... Now, Elruda was shaking her mother, who still seemed in a daze over the porn revelation. It was understandable...her daughter, her precious ELEVEN year old daughter...having read...that...
