Raven sheltered her gaze, not knowing what to say to that. She'd never been good with relationships...but she would try anyway.
"A break?" She asked quietly, sweeping her gaze back up. If they split, how would they all deal with it? How would the twins deal with it?

Jay sighed,keeping his back to her.
"something's off, we're always running into problems now and we're hardly happy as we were when we first got together..." he said, tears running down his cheeks. He wiped them away, not wanting this sort of pain. But not knowing what else to do.

Raven wanted to hold him close but wasn't sure if it was a wise thing to do right then.

"that's what I mean...I could go live with my parents for a week or two...just so we can get ourselves sorted. I'll come by everyday and visit the twins" Jay said, turning around to face Raven. Wiping the tears from his eyes quickly, Merethist had dropped off to sleep during their talk and was finally peaceful while he slept.

She asked, smiling sweetly as she hugged him.

Jay nodded and smiled a little.
"i'll ring my parents and then pack a bag" he said softly, clinging to Raven as tears pricked his vision again. He let her go and moved over to the phone, not really up to letting Asher know about the plans, but somehow knew he'd have to be the one who told him.
He dialled the number and held the phone to his hair.
"hello? Madison speaking"
"mum?? it's Jay....i'm coming to stay with you for a few days..."
"oh Jay!! has something happened with Asher??"
"we can talk later, just clear the spare room for me okay??" Jay answered shakily, Madison promised she would and hung up. But not after telling him how much she loved him and how she would help in anyway.
Jay put the phone back on the cradle and went upstairs slowly, deciding now would be a best time to tell Asher. He put Merethist to bed before knocking on the bathroom door.
"Asher..?"

Asher had jsut gotten done in the shower and stepped out, his body clothed with just a towel as he stepped from the bathroom.
He blinked at Jay, a mask going in place. "Jay?"

"I-I'm going to stay with my parents for a week or two....it looks like...we need some space....to sort ourselves out" Jay said nervously, losing his nerve a little when Asher came outside the bathroom.

Asher hid the slight twinge of guilt and pain. He seemed to gain a small habit of pushing his lovers away and he wasn't sure what he could do about it.
He did nod though. "If we must for a little bit..."

Jay nodded, keeping his eyes at Asher's chest. He honestly wouldn't be bale to hold it together if he looked up.
"I'll go pack" was all he managed, it was a little strangled. He turnt around and walked into his room, his heart aching and his eyes stinging with tears again. He pushed them away and grabbed a bag, folding clothes into it. He also took his wallet, camera, cell, laptop and sketchbook.
Within half an hour he was ready to leave.
"c'mon Mere lets go" he said, picking up the awake Undera and cradling him in one hand. The other held his bag. He shut the bedroom door and walked down the stairs.

Asher leaned in the doorway, watching him and wondering why the hell he was just watching and not doing anything....Yet he knew he was right. They needed a break...if just to liven things up more.

Jay put Merethist and his bag down and put his boots on, fiddling with the zipper. He bit his lip to keep his tears from starting again. Once that was done he shrugged a coat on himself and a small jacket on Merethist.
"ay~ why we go??"
"just for a break"
"we stay away forevah??"
"no, we'll come back soon"
"Puli and Vymi...?"
"are staying here"
Merethist seemed to droop now, he was feeling better thanks to the chunk of tablet, but he didn't want to be away from his two close friends. They were like his brother and sister. Jay answered the door and Nishi stood behind it, a sober expression on his face as he picked up Jay's bag so Jay could comfortable carry Merethist.
"...seeya.." Jay said softly, before walking out and shutting the door.

Asher laid his head against the doorway before he moved to get dressed.
Raven was fixing up the bottles for the twins when they woke up next...though she was sure they'd sleep through the day.
Julianna floated into the room, a saddened expression on. "Daddy? Where is Jay and Merethist going?"
Asher turned and tried hiding his own tears. "Away for a bit..."
She frowned. "Forever?"
He shook his head, praying it wouldn't be. "No sweetheart.."

"you can sleep in here Jay, i'm sure everything will work out for the best" Madison reassured her distraught son. Even if he had been the one to suggest it, it didn't mean he liked the idea. He wanted to be with Asher more thn everything and already he was aching to see the vampire. Madison left and Jay put his bag on the double bed, sitting on the edge to look around the light blue coloured room.
"so...i'm not going to see him for a while then..." he murmured to himself, sadly watched Merethist sleep again. The Undera wasn't happy with him, he didn't like being away from everyone. Jay wiped at the oncoming tears, holding his arm over his eyes. "...it's for the best..."

Asher settled on his bed where he quietly thought of everything they had been through. He still needed to give the second mark...
Julianna settled down in front of the bed, her thoughts on Merethist and Jay, especially Merethist.
