Aoshi_3LD Aki sighed, then stood and stretched. "So, what was all the excitement about? Especially you Rio. I mean... It seems you don't normally... wag...?" He smiled, noticing his tail. With a scowl, Rio pulled his tail in. Faintly, so faintly it would just be a trick of the light, a blush stained his cheeks as he straighted, gathering his dignity around him. " That is between my brother and I, Kitsune." He replied loftily, but with no real venom in his voice.

LQ XanatosGray LQ Rio gave a dramatic, long suffering sigh. "You preists have no sense of fun or adventure. And it would work out to your advantage as well." He said matter-of-factly. "Hearing it would probably give him a heart attackand then he would be forced to remain here, thus solving your problem of being alone." "No, we don't. That's why we're priests." Jerome grinned at Rio, "I doubt he would stay here if he had a heart attack, it would just give him another excuse to leave." "If so many are eager to leave, priest, why are you so eager to remain?" This question came from Sol, who flicked out one claw and was idly scratching some strange symbol into the table. "You said you wished to remain in the church, but would you not prefer someplace less..." He searched around for a word that wouldn't seem too insulting. The thought that he actualy cared about not insulting someone, a human at that, crossed his mind but he pushed it away. "Less rustic perhaps?" "There aren't that many eager to leave, just father Gulier. He's from the big city and is tired of thise place. As for me, I love it here. It's lonely, but I love this town and...most of it's people," On reflex Jerome slapped Sols hand from the table, like he would a naughty child, "It's lonely, but I can handle solitude."

Mie-tanuki ((AHEM!!! *glares around room*)) ((Mie, everyone else is involved in a conversation. If you want interaction, have Saiki join in. Aki, Jerome, Rio and Sol are all there, talking to each other, but Saiki isn't saying anything or doing anything for them to react to. Have him pipe in with a question or comment or action that can be reacted to.))

Sol jerked his hand back and stared at Jerome in genuine shock. It had been so long since someone had dared to do that to him, he wasn't quite sure how to react. Normally anyone so stupid as to touch him without invitation would have lost their head. Jerome had done it so offhandedly though, killing him seemed a bit extreme. So Sol just gaped at him, looking from his hand, to Jerome and back again several times.

He didn't even remember smacking Sol's hand.

And it's too dangerous leaving your tail out. he thought to himself. In truth, the thought of having his horns out for any prolonged period of time caused him deep embarassment and shame. It was seen more as a sign of weakness and a disfiguring one as that. As for his tail...the apengdage was just too sensitive to be left out all the time, especially amongst those he didn't trust overmuch.

He was torn; on theone hand, everything he had been trained and raised to beleive demanded the preist pay with his life, to serve as an example. Onthe other hand, he realized, there really was no need. Everyone else here was already fully aware of the folly of crossing either of the twins. Plus the preist obviously wasn't even aware of what he had done. And he really wasn't a bad sort. Almost likeable despite the fact he was human.

"Umm... 'scuze me, if this isn't a good time, but... Is everyone done with breakfast? I'm ging to do the dishes, so...." He took his own plate and began to rinse it off. "Where should I put them when I'm done?" he asked Jerome.

He put his hands on his hips in a perfect mimic of one of the nuns that raised him (even though no one else would recognize this) and said, "If you don't want to be treated like a child, then don't act like one." He poked his nose before replying to Saiki. "Just leave them next to the wash basin, I'll put them away when they're dry."

I can't hide mine. Unless I tucked my ears under my hair and my tail into my ukata. But that's rather uncomfortable really. I don't understand though... it's undignified to show your demonic traits...? They're a sign of pride and show that we are above the humans. With most demons anyway." He drew up his knees and wrapped his arms around them, trying to comprehend.
