McKenzie had winced a little as he tended her stomach wounds. She nodded as he gave instructions to her on cleaning her chest wounds and couldn't help but blush a little at the action of kissing her hand. She smiled at him. "Thanks. Go get a few more hours of sleep." She hesitated slightly before giving him a careful hug and heading off to the bathroom with the jar, bandages, and antiseptic.

*Faith got out of bed that morning and staggered about the room. Her head felt fuzzy and her vision was blurred* What hit me? *She muttered she leaned against the wall and tried to recover her equilibruim*

McKenzie didn't find the point in sleeping after she had finished bandaging herself up. So she got dressed, making sure to pick clothes that would mostly cover the bandages on her neck. Getting dressed proved to be a slow process as moving at all generally hurt. Afterwards she had wandered out of the room and down to breakfast, grabbing a plate to sneak back to her dorm. She didn't really want nosey classmates asking questions. It was as she pushed the dorm room back open that she noticed Faith wasn't in her bed and was in fact leaning against the wall. "Feeling any better?" Her voice was still scratchy and hoarse from being grabbed and cut near the voicebox.

*Faith rubbed her eyes and tried to shake her head clear* I feel like I got smacked by a train. *She stood up, swooning, and fell back against the wall* No I'm not feeling any better. Why would I have been feeling back to begin with? I was fine when I went to bed last night.

McKenzie sighed softly and set the plate of food on her bed before going over to Faith and looking the girl over. "Because you woke up in the middle of the night as a wolf and tried to kill me. I guess you forgot your meds or something. Either way, Michael came in and shot you with some kind of tranquilizer. If you don't believe me you can look at the mark on your neck." She smirked. "Looks kinda like a hickey actually." She cleared her throat and grinned.

*She glared at the woman* So I guess this means you'll be going to the Headmaster and spilling my little secret. *She scoffed* Or better yet use it as a means of blackmail against me.

McKenzie rolled her eyes, leaving Faith leaning against the wall as she went over to her bed. She picked up a piece of toast as she carefully sat on the bed. "No, I have no intention of doing either. I'm perfectly happy in knowing I was right." She took a bite out of the toast and watched Faith. "It's hard to pull the wool over a fellow wolves eyes, Faith."

*Faith walked over and grabbed a piece of bacon from the plate, taking a bite* Well don't go getting all cocky, there's still plenty about me you don't know. *She got dressed and gathered her books for Divination class before heading out the door*

McKenzie couldn't help but shake her head. She knew more than Faith realized she did thanks to Michael, but she wasn't going to say anything. She quickly finished what was on the plate before grabbing up her books and following Faith out the door. When they arrived to Divination she put on her best of cold looking faces and took a seat in the shadows. She didn't want to deal with people or Professor Trelawny today. Although, knowing her luck these last few days, something would happen.

*Faith sat silently in class as Professor Trelawny instructed them on palm reading. Faith looked up as the professor approached her*
Hold out your hand Miss Malfoy.
*She did as instructed and the professor studied the lines on her palm before staggering back a few steps*
My dear...I am afraid you will suffer a terrible fate. A shadow of tragedy shall befall you.
*Faith could feel the color leave her face. She knew that when Professor Trelawny read a fortune it was most likely true*

McKenzie watched with an arched eyebrow as Trelawny gave Faith her prediction. As the woman turned from Faith, she hid her hands within her robes. It didn't do her any good though. The Professor came up and asked to see her hand. She reluctantly held her hand out for the teacher to study. A wierd look spread along Trelawny's face as she looked up from McKenzie's hand. She muttered an 'oh my' before back peddling a bit and moving nervously onto the next group. "Crazy old bat..." She growled softly and sunk into her chair.

*Faith watched the scene between McKenzie and Trelawny with utmost curiosity, wondering what it was that had disturbed the woman so. Class eneded and she hurried towards the door. She was creeped out enough as it was and didn't want to stick around any longer than necessary.*

Kathryn had woken late, and had skidded into Divination as the bell rung. Sighing deeply she shifted to move on to the next class, hoping that with the waves of students filling the halls Professor Trelawny would not notice her lateness, nor the fact she was now there, as class ends

McKenzie was glad when the end of class arrived. The Professor had been casting her wierd looks since the palm reading. Frankly, it creeped her out. She stood slowly, face grimacing as pain shot across her chest and stomach. As she reached the door Professor Trewlany called out to her.
Miss Wallace, a word with you if you please.
McKenzie groaned and turned around, slinking back to the woman with a glare on her face. "Yes Professor?" She had tried not to make it sound cold, but it didn't seem to work.
*Trelawny shifted nervously, looking McKenzie in the eyes.* The mark of the beast is prominent in your lines. I fear the safety of yourself and others if you do not learn to harness it's darkness. If you do not... *Trelawny's eyes seemed to glaze over briefly* ...death. *Her voice became flat and ghostly* The Beast will roam the halls 'till heart of darkness is controlled. Only one may chain it so. Chains made by sacrifice. Chains made by death....
McKenzie backed up slowly. What she was hearing made her pale. She stumbled back over chair, gasping as pain coursed through her. She scrambled to her feet, leaving the classroom as Trewlany's words turned to mumblings.

Kathryn hadnt ment to stay around long enough to hear such words, nor witness such a exchange, however, she had, and now she was force to keep a eye on the kind woman.
Though the RavenClaw student had plan to slip out un-noticed, she realized she needed to do two things. Get today's lession, and to figure if the good Professor would be a threat.
"Er...Professor?" She questioned softly, as she entered, waiting to be acknowlaged by the elder woman
