Michael sat quietly in the corner and looked around the room. He reached in his bag and pulled out his sketchbook and continued working on the picture he'd started earlier.

The boy laughed a little shyly "Guess they really are the every flavor beans. " He rooted around in the bowl and came up with a fairly innocuous purple bean. "So, let's take bets- simple grape, or something far more sinister?" 'Ric shifted his eyes around in an exaggerated expression, hoping to get another laugh out of the other boy.

Not seeing anyone she knew besides Alaric, who looked quite taken with the flashy guy at the bar, Akki got up to leave.
"I hate parties..." she mumbled to herself.

*Piper immediately starting mingling and meeting new people. She was very much the social type despite her rough manners she genuinely liked people.
*Luel went to get a drink then stayed by the wall watching everyone. The place to too rowdy and there were too many people, he much preffered the quiet of a bookstore or pleasant chatter in a coffeehouse.*

Akira wandered into a corner table and sat down, still gazing about. Her eyes landed on Lena's older brother. It was so much easier not to think about him when he wasn't in the same room. She stood up and walked to the buffet, grabbing a large hunk of pumpkin pie, her favorite dessert, and walking back to the table.
"Damn this is good..." she muttered to herself between bites.

He did laugh again, "My money's on something more sinister... it could be eggplant," Moth scrunched his nose at the thought. "Go on, take the plunge!"

Akki headed over to bar to let Po know she was leaving. She turned to say hi to 'Ric, darting a short, uninterested glance at guy he was chatting with.

Itzuki sighed, he wasn't getting anything done by just sitting, or in his case standing, there! He had to mingle, talk to people. Dance music had started up, so he knocked back the rest of his soda, chucked the can in the trash and went to dance. He passed by the bar, and cast a curious eye over those at it chatting away. How he wished he could be so perky, able to just go up to a random person and start an interesting conversation. As it was, all he had was his shyness and his ability to draw and dance reletivly well.

As Erordia danced, she noticed the guy from the coffeehouse in which she had pushed Marie over toward. She tried getting his attention by waving and pointing over to Marie, in hopes the two would talk again.
Marie, on the other hand, simply continued to talk with Rohan about art. After a while, though, she became thirsty so she got up and headed to the bar. She wore a pale pink dress that had silver stars and moons embroidered on it, the design being more compacted at the bottom of her dress with less clutter fading upward. There was even a shooting star design that wrapped around her dress and ended on her right shoulder.

*Luel noticed a strange women waving at him. He gave an odd look then miagrated elsewhere in the place. If he knew Marie was at the same party his actions might have been different. All he knew was that someone he had never met before had been desperately waving her arms and lurching toward him as if she had imbibed perhaps a bit too much.*

" Wish me luck!" 'Ric popped the bean into his mouth and chewed, then went a little green. "eh heeh.. it's worse than grape- it's grape cold medicine! xp " Ric looked for something to rinse his palate, then ordered a butterbeer to drink and waved a little at akki.
