miss_fawcett I just want to announce that a Lightening Round is up in the Dueling Club. Instructions for it are there. I've only gotten two entries for it so far, and it's been up for almost a week now. cry

i spend my days.. lonnie shakes her head at ari
"no,you wouldn't ruin it.it's not exactly amazing.i'm right-handed,and am great at english,but i enjoy art too,even if i'm not good at it.i'm better at the academic side of things too,like you.i'm not skilled with art either,but i can still enjoy it!"
lonnie smiles at ari
"i'm sure if you enjoyed art,you'd be better at it than you think.you're only amazing at what you enjoy doing.art's fun,but i'll never be an artist.nobody's good at everything though,so i'm happy with what i'm good at!"
lonnie's eyes go back to her drawing and,in concentration,she bites her lip and gets carried away
she adds a load of swirls to her picture,then mumbles something about going up to the dormitory to find some crayons ..tangled in thoughts of you

Sora, seemingly more stressed than ever, walked into the ravenclaw commonroom dragging her feet. She sits down near the windows and sighs heavily. She closes her eyes and mumbles angrily as she put her chin into the palm of her right hand. As she opens her eyes, she saw what seemed like a house-elf offering sweets. 'What's an elf doing here?' she wondered and just shrugged. 'I missed so much again...' she continued to think.

Ari nods at Lonnie, then walks over to Sora and hugs her. "Welcome back! Don't worry, you haven't missed too much!"

Sora jumped up a little bit when Ari hugged her. She stood up and sighed. "I really hope I didn't miss much," she forced a smile. She looked out the windows and turned back to the people there. She flashed her right hand at them, "Five more days til my birthday!!!" She then shrieked in joy and twirled around. "Oh wait... that means I'm getting old," she paused and thought about wrinkles and stress.

Princess slowly wakes up to the sounds of soft conversation in the common room. She sleepily opens her eyes to see Sora. Lonnie, and Ari talking amongst each other! "Good Morning everyone, are you guys all packed? The carriages are leaving soon."

Turning to Princess, Sora's eyes grew wide. "I totally forgot!!!" she rushed to her room and began packing up. She paused for a second and went downstairs in a hurry. "Oh, good morning to you all, too," she smiled and went back upstairs.

Princess sees Sora rushing up the stairs to pack, and smiles thinking about it. Not more than 2 seconds later Sora came running back down to wish everyone a good morning! Princess smiled even bigger and softly began to chuckle at sora's actions. "Good Morning again to you Sora. Now hurry up I hoped that the four of us could catch the carriage together down to the train."
Princess looks up at Ari and Lonnie, and repeats herself: "Are you two already packed and waiting to go?"

i spend my days.. "OH MY GOD!!"
lonnie jumps up from where she was sat,carelessly throws her drawing on the floor and runs upstairs as sora had done
she turns around at the top of the stairs and says
"oh..i'd love to share the carriage with you guys!"
lonnie now knows that she's welcome at hogwarts,and that people actually want her to be here
she smiles and then,remembering that the train's leaving soon,her smile turns into a look of shock and she sprints up the stairs,panting as her asthma kicks in ..tangled in thoughts of you

Princess was a bit startled by Lonnie's reaction to her question, so she took a few steps back and allowed her space to get moving. Once again Princess smiles at her fellow Ravenclaws reaction to all that has happened in the last few minutes of the morning. Softly chuckling she hears Lonnie say "oh..i'd love to share the carriage with you guys!" So Princess looked up at her on the stairway and responded "Well hurry up or we will miss it!! But please do try not to break your neck in your rush!" Princess notices the changed facial expression on Lonnie and begins to ascend the stairs to see if she needs help.

"Ooo.. This and that and this and oh! That one too!" Sora said as she randomly got the stuff within her reach and put it inside her bags. She mustered all the strength she had to lift up the bags and rushed downstairs almost clashing in to Lonnie and Princess. She instantly dropped her stuff and gasped as she saw her scattered stuff. She just sighed and smiled as she scratched her head. "I dunno why all this pressure is getting into me!" she smiled and swished her wand. At an instant, her stuff organized themselves and rushed into her bags. She turned to Lonnie looking somewhat different. "Lonnie, you alright?" Sora concernly asked as she poked Lonnie's left arm.

the whole world’s my enemy.. lonnie spots the worry on sora's face
"nah,i'm....good....just.....panic easily......" lonnie manages to say between breaths,and she giggles to herself
she calms herself down,then rushes upstairs,returning moments later with her cases
the others look stunned at her speediness,but she just waves her wand carefully in front of them,signalling that it was literally magic
"so..you guys ready to go? i'll meet you there!"
lonnie mutters something,staring hard at her wand,and her suitcases raised up into the air
she walks down the stairs,on her way to the express,with her cases floating tidily behind her ..and i’m a walking target

Ari wakes up near a smoldering fire, and glances around curiously. "Weird. Where did everyone g-Oh no! Not again!!!" She rushed up the stairs, taking them two at a time, and muttered, "Always gotta fall asleep..." She raised her wand and gathered her bags in no time. Running through the Common Room doors, Ari shrieks, "Wait for meeeeeee!"

Princes comes down the stairs as well noticing Ari running out of the common room. She has her bags floating behind her as well. She looks around the common room as she descends from the last step and sighs. She hates it that she is leaving, but knows that she will be back soon. She quietly walks out of the portrait and heads down to the carriages.

-Miranda slowly walks around the Common Room- "Umm, hi, I'm a new Ravenclaw...er, nice to meet you all..." -she walks up to the girl's dormitry and sets down her things- "I can't believe that I'm finally here..." -she puts her scarf on and curls up into her bed- "I like it here..." -she smiles and realizes that she has nothing to worry about, and that she is really safe for once- "I can't wait to see the other Ravenclaws!"
