Mari just kept looking at the paper and chewed the tip of the pen. "I know." While she was in her thoughts, she looked up at him. It had almost been three years since she had met him and joined the guild. Three years was such a short, yet long time. And three years ago, they were always fighting. But now, they were getting married. All the thought did was make her let out a small laugh.

She put the notepad and the pen on the night stand and kept sitting in her posistion on the bed. Patting his stomach. "The first time we hugged was after the whole incident with my mother. And you actually hugged me."

Mari continued to play with his hair and have him relax. "Really. It was the first time I actually seen you care. I did before, but not as much as that. You were near tears and not wanting to let me go. It just made me wonder what you would do if I did die that night."
