I think it was for the elder too They band together in Troupes, and they perform together. The character that plays slaanesh is the outkast of the group, and fights alone. The others form a tight group and fight to the death, they are very fierce

Yahiko_Meogine The Harlquin's attempt to teach each race the lessons that the Eldar were forced to learn; not just replay Eldar's mistake for them over and over.
I just hope that they come out with the Altanzar craftworld.
For those of you that don't know in the Eye of Terror; right after Eldrad Ulthran (leader of the Ulthwe craftworld and basically the line of hope for the Eldar) was slain by Abaddon and the Eldar forces were getting their asses kicked; this old craftworld thought to be lost in the warp popped out of nowhere and started kickin' the s**t out of Chaos.
This craftworld was Maugen Ra's old craftworld. That... would... be... pimp! I would imagine the army to have a s**t ton of Dark Reapers and Tanks... Falcons... Fire Prisms... etc. Along with armor that is a lot like Ulthwe's only having a lot more bone all over the plates. If this craftworld comes out I am definitely going to get an army of these. You want an army of Reapers? Take Biel-Tan with them as your troops. Thats what I did. 3 squads of them, a squad of 5 and two of four. Each with an exarch w/Missile Launcher and fast shot. Space Marines watch out. In addition to that I have a total of 9 starcannons. cool Space marine players watchout.

I have the beta codex from 2000 on my computer, though It hought it was more recent before, and it says the solitaire, the soulless harlequins, play the role of Slaanesh, because others cannot, lest they are killed in the process or are driven insane. They are more than just performers, they are they elite of the elite, with access to technology the eldar do not have. And no they are not circuis performers, they are, however, performers with an unparalleled knowledge of the warp. The ritual that allows them to travel the warp for long periods of time without the soul draining effect is unknown, and some pressume it is that they have no soul, but that is not affirmed. Harlequins travel in small Bands on their speedy Venom transports, open topped vehicles able to carry a band through places too small for full sized transports. Here is the excerpt. Harlequin Beta Codex '00 Excerpt removed by Yahiko. No direct quoting from rulebooks. Wikipedia it if you want.

Or directly quoting from any of the codex's if I remember correctly. I spose' Darkelf will have to make the decision here; I apologize if I am incorrect in my decision.

No, Yahiko is probably right, I was just excited by it. That was fluff from the PDF Harlequin Codex, it is free, but he is right, it is still a violation because it comes from their site originally. xd

I don't think a sentence or two of fluff is bad. Depends on how much, really.

WHATEVER back on subject: Question: I'm really curious; has anyone ever used D-cannon support platforms to significant effect?

Nope, never used a support weapon platform. xd I can imagine it (D-cannon) would be surely useful. I think that the profile is quite good... plus it is ordananance.

It is not ordinance. Well... it is an ordinate weapon but it doesn't use the ordiance template. Whenever I try them they either: 1. Die before I can fire them more than once. OR 2. The 24" range doesn't cover long enough and they go the entire game trying to get into range.

Aww, booger. Oh well. But yea. I guess people would definitely fear the almight D-cannon. xd Do you usually use vibro or Weaver? Yahiko_Meogine Though if you want to go into that some Imperials make use of the living metal; Eldar do not; correct in that. Though Eldar are the ONLY race that have been able to engineer and use Wraithbone. Yes, but Wraith bone is manipulated through Psychic power, the Eldar qualify best for that. I am not even sure if this is accepted widely, but supposedly the bone singers from DoW are actually part of fluff... so they pull wraithbone from the warp and manipulate it into the necessary shapes and such. So that may be an advancement, but an entirely different section of Technology. I do not think the Eldar are THE most advanced, maybe that was the original idea, but it just isn't so.

Bone singers are part of fluff, I think they even had a model at one poitn... but I'm not sure about that. Everything in DoW draws from 40k canon.
