She sighed as he pretty much picked her up. "But, you have me. I'll just be asleep."

She continued to let him hold her and just sighed. "I don't know. I'm just kinda tired."

She nuzzled her pillow as he layed her down. She wanted to still be in his arms, though, so she cuddled against him. Mari didn't care what Kano said. He wouldn't leave her and she knew it.

She let out a sigh and started to drift back off to sleep. She didn't want to think about it anymore.

Mari walked in through a portal and it remained open for Smash. As soon as she walked through, she was greeted by Tech and Byte clinging to her and laughing. "You did it!" "You guys beat him! We can go home!" Mari let out a laugh and held them both. "That's right."

Byte raised up her wrist and showed it to Smash. "The marks keeping us out of our home disappeared! That's how we knew!" Tech nodded and let go of Mari and looked up at her with a smile on his face. "Yea. Now we can go home. I can't wait." Mari kept her smile and just looked back at Tech. "I bet you can't."

Byte hugged Smash and kissed his cheek. "Thank you." Tech even looked at him and gave him a hug which was unlike the young boy. "Thanks for your help." They both let go and gave Mari a hug to which she returned. Once they let her go, Byte grabbed Tech's hand and smiled. Tech then spoke up. "Sorry if we're leaving so soon, but we want to go home. Hope it doesn't upset you." Mari just smiled and played with his hair a bit. "No. That's perfectly understandable. Just remember to come and visit us." She took their hands and put markings on them that were a very light blue star. "That's so you can get to my dimension at anytime."

Byte gave Odin a tight hug and Tech gave him a pat on the head. "Don't worry. We'll visit often. Just, we need to get home." Byte put him down and just smiled. At that she waved and both her and Tech disappeared in a black mist.
Mari waved back and watched as they left. She felt a bit sad that they were leaving, but knew that they would be back soon. In her mind, she compared their leaving to a situation as if she had to watch her own children leave.
