Itachi doesn't seem to like talking about Naruto to the other ones. At first he doesn't respond to Sasori's questions, until the leader tells him to (I'm pretty sure by now, he's the leader), and when they ask him some more stuff he disappears, which ticks off Sasori. Interesting. For the first time, Itachi made a joke sort of. I don't think he wants to talk about naruto .

Itachi's reluctance to clearly pick out Naruto was probably more of a dislike for Sasori that he wouldn't want to bother helping him because he hates him. They don't seem to get along well and then the leader is like "Itachi just tell him" as an order so he has no choice. I also have some theory about his feeling or recognition for Naruto a) Sasuke's best friend(itachi might be wondering abit about Sasuke because he thought he would have taken his advice and killed Naruto by now) b) He might kind of like Naruto in a weird sense like think his attitude is funny kind of cute. c) There's still always that "Spy for Konoha" theory, but I think that's a bit too far out because Itachi has done so many horrible things and continues to want to help Akatsukis objectives. d) It might plainly be he doesn't like the idea of Sasori having an advantage by not seeing for himself which one the jinchuuriki is. But I opt that he just doesn't like Sasori and is reluctant to help that guy out.

Regarding the Chapter it seems that this guys do not get along with each other, so I wonder how could the "Leader" keep his members from not killing each other.

I loved how Itachi sarcastically hinted at who was carrying the Kyuubi rather than respond to the order and tell him directly. I hope we see a lengthy battle out of this. I'm sure this is the end of Deidara and Sasori or they may retreat after Team gai is finished with those clones. The Granny Sand Ninja is sure to make this encounter dramatic in some way.

Each Akatsuki is reponsible for one Bijyuu, and Chiyo theorized(probably correctly) that they're making new Jinchuuriki. But if it was as simple as Shukaku being sealed in Deidara because he caught it, then why isn't he a Jinchuuriki now? They just fed Shukaku to their big summon and then poofed it. It's not just a matter of time, either, since the summon was already holding onto a number of them when it was called up. There isn't any hard evidence that tells us what exactly they're doing with the bijyuu after collecting thme, and until there is we can't say anything about Itachi's motives with regards to Naruto.
Plus i haven't seen Itachi kill anyone yet from his village. He seems to try to avoid killing as much as possible

I agree. I seemed to me Itachi was reluctant to identify Naruto because I'm guessing whoever captures the jinchuuriki may be the one who gets it sealed within them after the plan is done. probably not considering deidara already caught gaara
What I think is more likely is he didnt like giving up the jinchuuriki that was assigned to him. after all Sasori said he was still looking for his when Deidara captured Gaara, which to me indicates the targets are assigned to a specific member to find and capture

i jsut saw "Kakashi-sensi, take off your mask!!!!!!!!!!!!" best damn episode ever. i had more fun watching that episode than even teh 2nd episode where konohamaru was introduced and did the really bad disguise skill. i hope kakashi really does have those big teeth. i thinhk that would stop ochimaru's evil rampage. he would seriously die laughing if he saw that, i knwo i almost did

anyway, i know chapt 264 is almost here but i got some 263 thoughts i still gotta put down.
first off, i agree that itachi probably hates sasori, or he might have been embarassed that the leader asked sasori instead of him to take care of the konoha shinobi, since his "sacrifice" lost to them in the previous chapter.
second, i think gaara's dying. he's become such a popular character that i hope this wasn't the case, but he looks like he's barely alive. (i'm not sure if this was already covered, i haven't been here in a while. i'll probably read backposts after i finish typing. sweatdrop )
i can't wait till they actually square off and all that good stuff... huzzah!

Yes it is. It would be an awesome twist if it was the 4th. The chapters need to come out faster.

ok i know i said that kakashi sensei was my fav episode, but now i must say that episode 125 is my fav. drunken boxing!??!?! sand village allys in the last 2 mins?!?!??! akamaru is hurt?!?!?!!? that surprise a the end was so huge i actually crapped my self. i ahd to go change. cant wait till the next dvd in the set i am watching is releaseed, then i can see through 150 and feel more complete
