XxfushigipinayxX Did Mizu Kagami have any other vocal songs other than...well, Mizu Kagami? ^^;; Just one, Tsuki no Nai Yoru. (Another awesome song.) It also has sequential stories #10 and #11, the instrumental version of Mizu Kagami, and four BGM tracks. Decently worthwhile album. biggrin

I love all yuu watase's works!!! My favorite mangaka ever!!! But my most favorite is Fushigi yuugi. It's what got me addicted to all her works, to all anime!!! Really, I was still kid then but by watching Fushigi yuugi I started to like anime more than cartoons..although i still LOVE cartoons...I watched the series so many times!!!
Actually I just watched it again this afternoon in animax. And it aired the time when chiriko died..wah.. crying I really cried..Why is it that every time I watch it in animax I always end up watching a sad part..like last time, I watched the episode where tamahome's family was killed...gosh i really cried..and then after that time when i watched FY on animax, the episode is where nuriko died... Are they doing this to me on purpose?!! stressed

One thing I love in FY is while I'm crying..I can't help but laugh!!! like in the OVA when tama lost all the memory ball...I was crying but still laughing coz tama keeps on bumping on things.. and still say he's alright xd
I love the part where miaka shouted super woman!! while she was floating..haha so cute!!! xd

I have a question. Is the manga different from the anime. I know all series have some differences. I was having a discussion with someone and she said that the two are very different. I was jsut wondering because I've never read the manga.

I was jsut wondering because I've never read the manga. The first part has some differences, but not very many. They're mostly just small details which, to a very a**l person like myself, throw me off my axis, but to others, don't matter. They slightly altered the ending of the manga; so in order to explain the discrepancy, they created the first OAV (the one where Yui becomes Priestess of Genbu.) That is not in the manga at all; it was completely created by the producers. And then, the second OAV was also different: it was cut much shorter, leaving out a half-dozen scenes and details. Nuriko dies. sad Tamahome does not... kinda. Miaka wishes for him to be reborn in her world so they can be together. So "Tamahome" as we know him inside the book ceases to exist, and he becomes "Taka Sukunami" of Tokyo.

I was jsut wondering because I've never read the manga. they're basically the same, the only real difference is that the anime stops after miaka summons susaku and her and tamahome meet back up , the ovas though continue the story, and are quite a bit different
