Jon had whisped to the agency to pick up his things, and had whisped back to the mansion. He had no other home to return to.

He stood in the doorway and stared into the once beautiful home. It was still burnt, and scorched, and broken from the last battle that had taken place there. Ignoring personal gain, (he figured the elders owed him one for helping take out Shadow) he decided to cast a spell. He dropped his bags where he was, and closed his eyes. "May the object of objection become but a dream, as I cause the seen to become unseen."

He could feel the magic souring around the room as it cleaned itself up, but he refused to open his eyes until it was all over. He wanted to try and trick himself into thinking this whole ordeal was nothing but a dream. Now that Matt was back, and Shadow was gone, he could finally relax.

Slowly, carefull, he opened his eyes to see the mansion transformed back to its origional splender. With a sense of satisfation, and normalcy, he hapily, and drunkenly walked into the house and shut the door.

((Well, Dan does have premonitions. So it wouldnt surprise me for him to know pretty much everything. lol))

Surprised by getting a visitor, Jon let Dan in and went ahead and opened the front door for him. "Come on in! I was just reorganizing the potion cabinet." He realized after he said it that it really wasn't an exciting thing to talk about, but he preferred boring things at the moment.

"Uhh, yeah. Sure." He walked out of the secret room behind the bookcase and handed Dan a box full of viles. "Here, you can put those in the first cabinet on your right." He pointed to a shelf near the door of the kitchen. "I'm transferring everything to the kitchen to make things easier."

Jon laughed half-heartedly. He didn't know whether to be happy Shadow was dead, or depressed that Austin shared the same fate. "What..." He realized he was drastically changing the subject, and it caught him a little off guard. "What do we do now?"

((Holy crap! Did you report it? I was hacked once. I was lucky he only stole about 30,000 worth of stuff sweatdrop ))

Jon realized he hadnt seen Matt since the battle. He had been looking forward to seeing his brother again for so long, but he was still no where to be found.

He walked over to a cabinet and pulled out a candle, lighter, paper, and a pen. He wrote a note on the paper, folded it, wrote Matt's name on the outside, and set it aside. He lit the candle and held the note up to the flame, slowly letting it burn. "Hear these words, hear this rhyme. Send these thoughts into his mind." He couldnt remember if he said the spell completely correct, but it was close enough.

He went back to talking to Dan while he waited for a reply. "Sorry 'bout that. Just worried about Matt." He put some hemlock root on the top shelf. "Ya know what, I dont think I've ever asked what it is you do? Are you a full time witch, or do you have a job?" He hoped his desperate attempt at starting a conversation would work. He realized the loss of Austin was overpowering the joy of Shadow's death.

"Thats pretty cool." He looked down as soon as he realized something. "I guess I'm unemployed now, huh?" He almost laughed at the thought.

((Fortunately, as far as hackers go, this one was stupid. He only broke in to steal items, which he traded to his account. It made it easier to track him down, and to ban. I never got my items back. I think among others, the items were a guitar of demonia, and a lunar cloak. They weren't worth as much then as they are now, but it still hurt my pockets a lot. I guess I was lucky though, I got to keep my account.))

((That really sucks))

"Don't worry. I'll be ok. I'm actually thinking about reopening the Agency." He paused. "I doubt it will ever be back to the strength it was, but still.... its a good place for witches who are looking for purpose..... or just looking for guidance." He thought back to his childhood when the Agency took him in when he first started coming into his powers.
