'Ello, I'm Pashio.
I love Leroux's novel Phantom of the Opera.
My favorite version of poto.
Of course, it was the first one.
Susan Kay's Phantom was brilliant also.
XD
I liked that she introduced morphine to him, so he could cope with the pain.
Surprised me, but I think it was a good addition to the story.
I love Sarah Brightman and Michael Crawford.
Emmy Rossum and Gerard Butler?
I'm still debating whether I like them or not,
But I love Patrick Wilson!

heart Whewt! New member here =D ^^ lol. I go by either Sin, or Kat (whichever your prefer) I'm 20 but as of next month i'll be legal to do everything I could have done at 16

4laugh Just kidding! Lol but i'm excited to turn 21 O_O it's a bit monumental... ninja Anywho...I'm a Phantom lover as are all of you...and while I know there is a lot of speculation on the 04' Webber Movie with Geri and Emmy (whom I think are BOTH fantastic) I'm so passionate about that film. I have to give Geri credit for pulling off a lovely Phanty, for not having as much musical/operatic background as Wilson or Emmy Rossum (she's such a pretty Christine! whee )
I did get to see one of many stage versions, right here in Florida. Funny enough, I saw the movie before the stage version and I love them both dearly. There is nothing like sitting in the audience to a live production of the show, and yet at the same time the film was wonderful as it allowed for a bit more creativity (full orchestra, costumes, sets... eek Rossum's gorgeous voice...)
XD I'm ranting lol!

I am a new member, but not a new fan of Phantom. Since I was 9, 10 years old I've loved Phantom. . . and during the next 10 years of my life I've faded in and out of my fandom, going through phases like most teenagers do. At 20 years old, though, I'm more in love with the story and characters than ever before. There's a whole spiel about it in my personal profile, I won't bother boring you all to death with it XD
So, I wanted to drop in and say hello smile I'd like to make new friends here, have some stimulating Phantom conversation if I may, and hopefully will be able to offer this guild and it's members some great input.

Bonojur! No, I'm not French (although I do have some French in me!), but I AM new! 'Phantom' is one of my obsessions, and I love Erik.... How can you not?! I'm Caitlin, 13, live in GA, blah, blah, blah... But my mind's elsewhere... Anyway, I look forward to being in this guild with others phans like me! biggrin

Hello to all! I am Sune, and am absolutely and completely obessed with Phantom of the Opera, not only the musical,but also the books that inspired it. I've only read parts of Leroux's and Kay's books, but they're amazing,and I love them. Of course, in this place, I guess it's not unusual to be obsessive over Erik... ninja
I'm not new to Gaia, but I am new to the guild, so woot. and if anyone needs a beta for any phanfiction, just PM me, I'd be happy to read it 3nodding

Hello to everyone! I am sure you are very familiar with my story so I will not go into any detail about it...if you want any information at all, you can visit my profile.
I personally enjoy anything POTO related. From Leroux's book to the musical and then to the movie. I have yet to read Kay's version...but I will soon. I have seen almost every POTO movie ever made (Netflix...still have an ongoing list) and I enjoyed the 2004 movie. It is my goal someday to see the musical. I own the original cast Cd and listen to it quite often.
I enjoyed Emmy Rossum's and Gerarld Butler's singing and performance in POTO. I adore Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman also. If I had to choose one though...I couldn't. They are all so very different. Butler's and Crawford's voice are both very good. (Though Crawford is much more experienced).

Hey i'm Kathi. My favorite musical Phantom is the 2004 movie. He was kinda my first Phantom. Though I remember finding a box, and inside was a cassette tape of Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman. When I was younger, I would listen to it and sniff the perfume. Though when I was younger it scared me, because I thought it was a real ghost lol. But Gerard Butler's phantom will probably always be the one in my head^_^.
I do like to read Gaston Leroux's book and one day hope to read the other Phantom novels out there. And yeah, I hope to talk to all of you soon^_^.

Well hello! I'm new as well. I have been a Phan since I first saw the movie. I love all the Erik's (Gerik the most) except Colme Wilkinson(sp?) Erik and Micheal Crawford Erik. A few of my phan friends who love those two hashed this out with me over the course of several IM sessions and we all realized the Erik we loved most was the one we first saw/read about. Don't know if there is the same connection for everyone, but it's something to think about.
But anyway, my real name is Kira, I will be 17 this week (B-DAY YAAAAY!!!) I go to an art school (I major in theatre), and we have limited computer access. Gaia is a restricted site (but then again my friends experimented and while ff.net is up, but barbie.com is down, lol) So yeah, I can pretty much only go to Gaia on weekends. crying

Hi. I joined a few days ago but didn't get time to post. I love the book and the play. My favourites are Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman. I don't really like Gerald Butler and Emmy Rossum at the moment. It could change. But my favourties would still be MC and SB. I love the book by Gaston Leroux. That is the only one I've read so far. Ya so I just love the Phantom of The Opera. smile

Well, hi.
I love Phantom of the Opera. I love Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical and the '04 movie! I also am reading Leroux's novel. I personally think that the book is true. I have and absolutly adore the original london cast recording of the music from Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical. My favorite songs are "The Music of the Night" and "The Phantom of the Opera".
