Her smile grew as she continued to drag/carry/help walk Zanza out of the area. They were heading to the Cafe! Looking behind her, she nodded for the others to follow. 'C'mon guys... let's go get something to eat!'

Houka look at Zanza with angry eye's. He was sick of him being mad at sensei for no apparent reason. Then he decided to shrug it off.
''I haven't got a paid for a while some I'm running on dry. Well I'm not that hungry....I'm not feeling to well...anyway I'll come along just for the chat.''
And with that, he followed the group.

Hirako raised a finger to point out try to get a word in but everyone already left. As they walked away the teacher sighed. "But... I don't want to be in debt..." He muttered as he followed them. His footsteps echoed into the caves slowly, like a funeral march. The echoes even reached the inner chambers where the kids had battled the crazed bandit. Deep inside blood continued to drip from the man's lowered head.
Then he stirred.

Ando spaced off for a minute thinking about how complex emotions were and why he should even try to show them on his face. His eyes widened for a second as he came to and saw that everyone left and he put his hands in his pockets and walked back to town slowly following their trail in the dirt.

Ryoko took the treterous route to the cave. It was a walk in the park for this nut job but thats besides the point. She made her way to a small hut near the entrence to one of the caves. The hut was the rest house for this area of the mines. It had all the aminities; a bathroom, a table, a stove and a coat rake and even a small cot or two. Nothing fancy but good enough for these miners. Sitting inside was an old man that was waiting for the team to show up.
Opening the door, Ryoko waved to the man who looked to her, looked her over and got a nose bleed. Ryoko only grinned.

The path to their destination looked a bit unsafe, but Ryoko appeared to have no trouble. Just to be safe, Izumi followed Ryoko as closely as he could. When they arrived, the man waiting for them had a.....shocking reaction. Izumi merely sighed and decideded to let Ryoko do the talking. If he didn't know better, he would think she enjoyed this kind of thing....

Kaiho followed close behind the others, noting Ryoko's near festive attitude towards what she knew to be a treacherous path. It was comforting being inside the darkened caverns of the the caves. Kai felt secure and very comfortable. She followed Izumi into the hut and couldn't help smirking as looked up just in time to see the torrent of blood gush from the old man's nose. From the look of Ryoko, she was definitely used to such a reaction. There were times that she wondered about just how much Ryoko and her mother were alike. Some of the similarities were down right disturbing. She leaned up against the wall and waited for instruction.

Ryoko, making sure to add a bit of sway in her hips, walked up to the old man and grinned. "We're from the village. We accepted your request for aid in the mines. Now, are you the strong, dedicated man they told me about in the mission briefing?" she smiled sweetly as she rubbed the old mans head a bit. She seemed to have a dreamy look on her face which made the man swoon even more.
He soon shook his head and looked up, "U...um well yes. Yes I am. So you are teh ones here to test the mine? Are you sure you and the kids can do it? I wouldn't want such a pretty, frail thing to be hurt."
A slight tension mark appeared on the back of her head. She hated being treated like a weakling but then again, she was working that angle so she worked through it. Her face didn't show a mark of her anger. "Oooooh, stop. You'll make me blush. No, we can handle ourselves. So where do we start baby?" She smiled.
The old man reached over and grabbed a few hardhats and some pick axes. She handed the things to the team and began to lead them out. He had a noticible pride in his step. Poking his chest out and trying to walk without his cane as much as possible. Ryoko snickered to herself as she walked behind the man and soon they came to a trolly in the mouth of the cave. "After you ladies." He bowed and allowed Kai and Ryoko on first. He then pointed to the leaver, "You, boy, pull that leaver and get your butt on the trolly fast." He got on after the ladies and sat between them, his face beet red.
When they got further in, he began to point out and explain what areas they need to go after and what they should do.
Ryoko smiled as she looked to her team, "Alright kiddies! Lets get started!!"
[[DC for this first wall is 15. After you beat the DC for each wall, move on to the next wall and try to get it again but increase the DC by 5. All your attempts on a single wall add together. So don't worry if you only roll like a 2 or 3, they'll add to your next roll.
Your check is 1D20 + str mod + 1 (the +1 is for using the pick axe) Ready, GO!!!

Kai hopped out of the trolley, glad to be away from the old lecher and her grinning sensei, and secured her hardhat before getting a good grip on her axe. She reared back just a bit before before taking a mad swing at the wall.

Izumi pulled the lever and quickly hopped on the trolley. While listening to the old mans explanation, he tested the weight of the pick axe he had. He wasn't used to using anything other then his fists so this would be a bit of an adjustment. When the trolley came to a stop he quickly hopped off after Kai. He got up to the wall and lifted the pick axe high over his head, bringing it down with all his might.

Izumi's swing didn't put much of a crack in the wall. It looked pretty sturdy but he decided another swing was necesary to be certain. Before he did, though, he took a quick look to see if there was anything in the wall that would be of any value. Sadly there was nothing he could see that looked out of the ordinary. Not terribly disappointed, he raised the axe and took another swing.

(First wall complete, 1 ryo coal found.)
Izumi lowered the axe and nodded to himself. This wall was definitely sturdy enough. No dangers of a cave-in here. He was about to move on to the next wall when a subtle discrepency caught his eye. A piece of coal by the looks of it. Using his axe, he pried it out of the wall and pocketed it, before moving on. The next wall looked a bit thicker, so he would have to do some heavier mining to ensure that it was safe. Wasting no time, he took the pickaxe in both hands and swung.

(19+4+1=24/20 Second wall complete. 1 ryo lump of coal found.)
Izumi was shocked at his own strength as his axe put a decent sized crack in the wall. If it could stand up to that, there was no need to continue. Before he left, he took a quick look at the wall and spotted another lump of coal. He added it to the other one in his pocket and moved to wall number 3. "Alright. Here goes nothing." He twirled the axe a bit before taking it in both hands and quickly swinging it with all his might.
