While the rest of us continue to wrestle with cold weather, potential snowstorms and cabin fever, the people in South America are partying in gorgeous seaside weather!

Wouldn't you rather enjoy a "Beach Carnival"? Thank you for the theme idea bit390!

Brazil just started their Rio Carnival celebration today, but there's nothing saying we can't join in the festivities too!

We've even reserved a stretch of beach to party the days and nights away (GST). It's in Gold Beach, one room north, and one room west of the bonfire. All this is happening on Blood Bat server starting at 5 pm PST tonight!

Prepare to feel the heat... in February!


Remember to have a friend you can warp to, or add me to your friends list which I'll gladly accept. If you happen to arrive in zOMG! on a different layer than everyone else, just check your map for the blue dot with an arrow representing a friend, and click on that to instantly warp to their location.

If you're on the wrong layer and don't have any friends at the Dev Meat, open the Recrewt List (button located on the bottom of the map window), and toggle on the "Looking for Crew" checkbox. After getting warped to the correct layer from someone's invite, either stay in the crew or toggle your name off in the Recrewt List so people will know you're on the right layer.

Note that zOMG! servers constantly get recycled, filled up and shutdown for new ones, so make sure to check back here if the server we meat on will need to change, as it will be updated in this announcement.

Each Friday we gather together in a different location somewhere in zOMG! with a new theme to dress as, which also many times directs how the Dev Meats (Meets) will go.

The Dev Meats is open to EVERYONE to attend. We are all fans of zOMG! and anyone who attends is considered a friend!

I'm a former zOMG! dev that previously worked on the environments and other aspects of the game, and I'm the one who organizes each Dev Meat. Every week Lanzer himself attends where everyone can openly converse and interact with him!

These gatherings are a place where we all chat about any random range of subjects, perform impromptu activities and just act goofy in general! Hope to see you there!
