Grace allowed herself some time to calm down before she moved back to join everyone, but by that time it had ended and Orion was attempting to talk with Cadence. Grace stopped in her tracks, observing the interaction between the siblings before cringing at how badly Cadence was treating Orion. It's not like any of this was his fault, yet she was treating him as such. If anything, some of this is to fall in her shoulders, given that Dylan had been working with one of her ex boyfriends. But, it was not time to play the blame game, and when it came down to it, the only people that should be blamed are Dylan and Tommy. Cadence should be thankful that her brother had even cared enough about her to come looking for them all. She stayed off to the side, only to nod when Orion mentioned the luncheon. "Are you sure you're okay to go? I'm sure they will understand if you don't..." She squeezed his hand as they made their way back to her car.

Location: Funeral Company: Dereck & Funeral attendees Wearing: Funeral As the funeral ended, Lyn began to make her way out. There were quite a few people here, but she didn't know anyone really outside of the MC's and perhaps the few co-workers or customers that were present. She stopped as Dereck came over. Maralyn nodded her head at his question,"Yea, I think I'm alright now. More worried about Lincoln really." She said gesturing towards her remaining cousin that was now with Moira. At least that woman seemed to have a good head on her, and would take care of him. Perhaps Lyn would stop by the next day to see him. He probably felt lost without his brother. The two had been inseparable.
If Cadence wasn't with him, then where had she gone? And soon her ears heard the small spat between Cadence and Orion. Lyn frowned at that scene. She understood that Cadie was mad. She had a right to be since she really had lost alot of people in the last day. Her aunt, her niece, and her unborn child. But didn't she know that it hadn't been her brother's fault. In fact Lyn considered it more her own fault. But yet Cadie had confided in Lyn before this happened with Tommy and Dylan that she had been thinking of leaving so something like that didn't happen. Cadie was surely not in a good place, but to lash out at the family she had left?
Lyn shook her head and turned back to Dereck, "If you want tonight, we could watch one or two of those movies you had gotten a few days ago. If you're busy that's fine. I know you have a lot going on." He had his club to worry about, and the couple of funerals to plan. His truck needed fixing too. She didn't know yet that his shop had gone up in flames. But even without that he had enough on his plate. But she wouldn't mind spending time with him. Relax some together. Try to forget some of what had happened. But then again, she wouldn't blame him if he didn't want to.

Tessa N. Thiessen As soon as Cadence got in the car Tessa was on her. "So....that looked ugly.""Please not now Tessa." Cadence said in a tired voice. "What was all of it about?""It was a family issue....""So, all those hot guys were family?! Girl! you never said you had such hot male relatives!""They are married. Every single one of them. Married with children." Cadence replied sharply. Last thing she wanted was Tessa going after a family member, or getting involved with the MC. Tessa was no good at keeping secrets. "So when do I get to see this Jasper guy?""Why are you so curious about him?" Cadence snapped, her eyes narrowed. "Whoa! Chill out! No need to be a b***h to me because your having family problems!" Tessa replied and glanced at Cadence. "Just let me out here, and go away Tessa. I really can't babysit you today.""Wow. b***h." She pulled over and Cadence got out. "Cadence your being like a real b***h right now. I will stop by later so we can go shopping for the trip. We need to find cute outfits that cover your leg and how fat you have gotten." Cadence purposely slammer the car door and walked away from the car. She was not in the mood for Tessa today. She already felt ugly and disgusting, and Tessa was making her feel worse by the second. She just needed time to get her head together. She was made at Orion, and hurt by his behavior toward her, but he was her brother. However Elias was their brother as well, and Landon was their cousin. So currently it felt like it was everyone against Orion. It wasn't fair to him. He was hurting too. Cadence walked along, the pain she ignored. She was so busy thinking. Trying to find a way to forgive her brother. Trying to find a way to make peace within her family. It was hard though because she herself agreed with her brother and cousin. She was moving down the street, just thinking.

Dereck Michael Thompson
Dereck narrowed his eyes, looking towards where Lincoln was standing, and then back to Lyn. Despite the bruises, she looked more beautiful than ever. His gaze softened and he draped his arm around her shoulders gently, pulling her against him to plant a kiss against the side of her head. He would love to spend time with Lyn, especially after everything that happened. He also wouldn't mind taking a mini-vacation for a night or two, and spending it getting to know her better, watching movies with her. It would be the best thing after everything that has happened. "Yeah, I'd like that." Dereck led her towards his motorcycle, looking down at her questioningly. "I didn't even ask if you had your own ride. Wanna ride with me?" He dropped his arm from around her shoulders, allowing his hand to rest on the small of her back.

Location: Funeral Company: Dereck Wearing: Funeral A small smile broke out across her face as Dereck agreed to join her for some time. She didn't care how long he stayed it would just be nice to spend more time with this man. Some more normal time and learn about the one she was in a relationship with, if they still were. Which from the way things had seemed to be going, she suspected they were. And as little as she knew about him, the woman loved this man's company. Lyn would go wherever he wanted. The movies may currently be at her place, but they were easy enough to move to his if he was more comfortable there.
Her body followed his as he steered her towards his bike. She had honestly called a cab before after leaving her place. With her broken wrist, she had not wanted to fight with the damn bike before the funeral. It didn't seem like the time for such a thing. So she had conceded to worry about figuring out how to work that bike again for the next couple weeks while she had this cast, the next day while she was off. Maybe it s time to trade it in for a car again. She'd go to see Lincoln anyway; bring him cookies. So that would the the time to experiment."I'd love a ride." Lyn did her best to not flinch as Dereck's hand rested on her low back, really just centimeters away from where Dylan's name had been carved. She certainly would feel better once she got that covered. Right now it was just a horrid, ugly reminder to the both of them. Lyn waited for Dereck to get on the bike, before she slipped on behind him, wrapping her arms around him.

"I won't be broken I won't be tortured I won't be beaten down" ~Orion Michael De La Cruz~ Orion shook his head. He lead Grace back to her car. "No. We should really go to the luncheon. It will mean a lot to Lincoln." Orion didn't really want to go but he would always be there for a Brother. It was part of their code after all. "I sent flowers from us..." He added. He really wanted to just go home and be depressed in peace, but it wasn't in him to sulk, or stay down. He had never been one to sit around feeling sorry for himself. He believed in doing. So much time was wasted by dwelling on things or sulking. Pointless in his opinion. "You don't have too...I am just asking. This is not me pressuring you though. I was wondering if you were going to go to Celeste's funeral. I know you two didn't know each other well but..."Orion had no intention of missing his Aunt's funeral. He had as much right as Landon or Elias to be there. More in fact! Landon may have been her only soon but the man had been selfish. All he did was take, take, take from her. She had paid his way through college, bought him his first car, helped him pay for his apartment while he was in college, gave him a lump sum toward the down payment on his first home, started college funds for both his children, and he never visited her for the holidays, he rarely even invited her to his home for the holidays. In fact he was sure Cadence and he for the most part are the only one who ever invited her to anything at their homes. Elias had done so maybe a handful of times. Elias was Orion's younger brother, and Aunt Celeste had done a great deal for him as well. When he first moved out she had let him live with her for the first year. When he had moved to college she had took him, and helped him through his college career. Elias had kept in contact but nothing like when he was first starting out. So Orion had every right to go to that funeral and pay his respects. He loved his Aunt dearly, and had always appreciated all she did for him. He had never forgotten all she had done for him either. So if anyone had a problem with him being there, then it was just that. Their problem. ~Ryder~ I have the answer I can take the pressure I will turn it all around ~Five Finger Death Punch

'Cause sometimes you just feel tired, Feel weak, and when you feel weak, you feel like you wanna just give up ~Cadence Jaycey Sinclaire-Caine~ Cadence was seated at a local diner, she really just wanted some time away from prying eyes. Her Mother was watching her as if at any moment she would just shatter into a million tiny pieces. Cadence felt like it was a very real possibility that she might, but she was doing everything in her power not too. She didn't want to cry anymore, she didn't want to feel the grief she was feeling, she didn't want to feel as alone as she did. She wanted to try to rebuild her life, figure out how to move one. Currently she had not figured out how to overcome everything but she wanted too. She did not want to harbor any hard feelings toward her brother either. As upset as she was with him, he had never wanted any of this to happen to anyone. She knew Orion well enough to know that he would not wish the things that were done to them on anyone, not even his worst enemies. Cadence was picking at her pie. She normally loved pie, but today...pie just wasn't working it's magic. Actually the pie sucked and was bumming her out. It was not even a decent pie, and she realized she would never have a pie that tasted anything like her Aunt's pies. She pushed the pie away after the realization and just focused on her milkshake. "Cadence..." She sighed and ignored the person calling her. The men cam and sat with her anyway. "Orion deserves to be able to go to Aunt Celeste's funeral.""He is why she is dead!" Landon snapped. Cadence lifted her eyes to meet Landon's. "She is his Aunt. It is not like he ordered her death.""Whoa! time out!" Elias jumped in as Landon opened his mouth to argue. "I think Landon has every right to be upset, but she is his Aunt and she loved him as much as any of us. I think Orion should be allowed to go.""If he is not welcome, I will not go. Period." Cadence replied and lifted her chin defiantly. "Fine. He can come...." Landon replied and Cadie nodded her head in acceptance. She would not allow either of these men to persecute her brother. They had no business judging him, or talking about him. They never even associated with him, they knew nothing about his life. The guys didn't hang around long, which Cadence was grateful for. She paid for the crappy pie, and milkshake then took her leave. She had to buy a new phone since hers was gone. She bought the phone and activated it. She had gotten a new phone number as an attempt to start over. She decided to text a few people that she wanted to have her number. Tommy, Tessa, her Mother and....Jasper. She wanted him to have her number though she wasn't sure they were going to make it pass this latest chapter in their lives. She hoped they would, but she had no way of knowing. 'Hey Jasper. It's Cadence, just figured I would give you my new number in case you need it. Hope your doing well.'~Candie~ But you gotta search within you, you gotta find that inner strength And just pull that sh*t out of you and get that motivation to not give up And not be a quitter, no matter how bad you wanna just fall flat on your face and collapse. ~Eminem

Jasper As the funeral ended. Jasper finally walked up to Lincoln, who now had Moira with him. He clapped the other man who looked so very dazed on the back, "Come on, Doom. It's over." That didn't bare to sum anything up. And surely it was not over in the other man's mind, but the service itself was over. It was time for the Luncheon back at the Clubhouse. They all needed some time together, some time to be a family. That's what they all needed at this time anyway, right?
With his hands on the man's shoulders, Jasper steered Lincoln to where all the bikes were lined up, "Time to go back to the Clubhouse."Jasper handed Lincoln his helmet, then put on his own. He waited for the other man to straddle his bike and start the engine before he did his own. Then he followed Doom back to the clubhouse for the Luncheon.
As they entered the clubhouse where everyone was milling around outside or in the main room waiting for the food, Jasper moved to the bar. He took a quick shot, then poured two more, one for himself and one for Lincoln, before grabbing them each a beer. It was as he was taking a seat on one of the stools that he looked at his phone and saw a text from an unknown number. He frowned, bringing the beer to his lips as he opened it. It was Cadence.'Hey thanks. How's it with your mom? You looked good at the funeral.'

'Cause sometimes you just feel tired, Feel weak, and when you feel weak, you feel like you wanna just give up ~Cadence Jaycey Sinclaire-Caine~ Cadence could not control the small smile that crept up on her face as she read Jasper's response. She was seated on the bench across from the place the cafe once stood. She wanted to feel close to her Aunt, and remember all the good times they had. Most of their good times centered around food. Trying new recipes, taste testing food together, working at the Cafe together. 'Momma is good. She is taking a billion pics of Tyson and me. She had no pics of her children together. I saw you at the funeral, I couldn't leave Lincoln though. He looked so lost, and I felt like he needed us all.' She wanted to tell him she missed him, but resisted. She was afraid to make a move. Cadie understood feeling lost. She understood needing people but being unable to find the words to ask for the people. As soon as she had seen Lincoln she had known he was lost. Broken. Her instinct was to protect him, to be there for him. That is exactly what she had done. Jumped right into Mom mode, and took care of Lincoln. ~Candie~ But you gotta search within you, you gotta find that inner strength And just pull that sh*t out of you and get that motivation to not give up And not be a quitter, no matter how bad you wanna just fall flat on your face and collapse. ~Eminem

Grace Marie ThompsonWearing This!
Grace merely nodded, agreeing with Orion about going to the luncheon. He was right, it would mean a lot to a lot of people. Even if they did not stay for the entire time, it would be a good thing for him to show his face at least. Being the President of the Angels, it would look good not only on him, but on his character. At the mention of having flowers sent, Grace raised an eyebrow. He did not say that he had only sent them from him but that he sent them from us. He included her in this little gesture of kindness, and it made her heart swell a little bit. She had been wondering what his stance was on their relationship, and this kind of cleared things up for her. As she ducked into the passenger seat, her hands moved to rest in her lap, and when he got inside he began to speak again, but the time his tone of voice made her feel a bit worried. "Of course I'm going to go. She was your aunt, and even though I did not know her very well..." Her voice trailed off for a moment, and she moved her hand to rest on his arm. "I love you, and that means being there for you no matter what. I will be going." Grace squeezed Orion's arm reassuringly, and turned to look out the window as they drove to the luncheon.
Upon arriving, they were welcomed by Killian and Black. Grace got out of the car silently, and only glanced over to where the men were standing with Orion. There were a few people there, and the only ones she knew were the Angels. Grace walked inside and took a seat at the bar, and let out a sigh. Her body was still hurting, aching all over. But she wanted to be here for everyone, let them know that she cared, even if it meant being in pain. Turning to Jasper, Grace offered him a small smile. "Can I have a water?" She reached into her purse, grabbing a pill bottle. She needed to take something to dull the pain, and since this was prescribed to her, it meant that it was safe for her to take with the baby.

Dereck Michael Thompson
Dereck waited until most of the people had gone, and then he brought his fingers to his lips, blowing out a whistle. His men seemed to round up, and they all got back onto their bikes. They were not going to attend the luncheon, because there were things back at the clubhouse they needed to take care of, like rounding up enough money to get their auto shop rebuilt. His eyes followed them and then he got onto his bike, holding it steady as Lyn climbed on behind him. Having her back behind him made him feel good. It was like she belonged on his bike with him, and it was a little bit of normalcy that peeked it's way through. "Movies sound like a really good time. I'd love to stay with you tonight." He revved up his bike, smiling as it roared to life.
The ride to Lyn's home was a nice one, despite the dark clouds that seemed to fill the sky. It was indeed a day of sadness, and the sky showed it. A lot of innocent people lost their lives, and it was something that ate at his heart. This way of life was not for the weak, and he needed to remain strong in order to keep himself from falling apart. As the pair pulled up to Lyn's home, Dereck made sure to help lift her from his bike, not wanting her to irritate her injuries further.

Jasper Jasper read the new text from Cadence, as he took a swig from his beer bottle. He looked over at Lincoln next to him. Yea he had to agree the man looked lost. Needed everyone that could be there. But then again, weren't a lot of them all lost right now? In some form at least. They had lose members of their MC family, more had lost members of their own family. Some like himself, before it even began. "Can't really blame him for his feelings. But at least he's got the MC. Your mom should get all the pictures she can." Jasper texted back to Cadence.
At the sound of bikes, he looked over to the door. The rest of the gang were beginning to arrive. Even Orion and Grace. The later made her way over to the bar, asking for a water. Jasper nodded, doing his best to must a smile for the pretty blonde."Of course."His hands reached into the fridge and set a water down in front of her. How you doing? Sure you don't want something stronger?'

Location: Apartment Company: Dereck Wearing: Funeral "Well that's handy."Lyn commented quietly at how all the Reapers seemed to jump to attention and leave the funeral grounds at Dereck's whistle. If only everyone could be trained so easily. It showed the time, effort, and dedication all those men, including Dereck, had put into their club, and their time together.
Lyn nodded her head, resting it against Dereck's back, "That would be lovely." She responded as he mentioned he'd stay the night. Maybe she'd get some sleep, and yet maybe not. But Lyn would certainly be happy to have his company.
As they rode from the Funeral to her apartment, she could feel the bumps in the road create pain float up her back. Yet all she was happy to be out in the fresh air, to feel the wind, and to be with Dereck. So ya deal with it. She smiled at Dereck as he helped her off his bike when they arrived at the apartment complex, "Thanks."Lyn then lead Dereck back up to her apartment, once he had his bike settled that is. She opened the door and waited for his form to follow through before she closed it and locked it up. The slight masculine odor that hit her nose, made her smile. Lyn's hand pointed tot he movies still sitting where he had left them on the table a few days ago,"Whichever one you want to watch first is fine. Do you want anything?"

Grace Marie ThompsonWearing This!
Grace placed the pill on her tongue, then took a drink of water and swallowed. She had not realized just how hungry she was, until she finally had some water on her stomach. It had been a few days since she had anything on her stomach, because of everything that happened. When Jasper spoke to her about drinking something a little stronger, her head tilted to the side, a questioning look on her face. Though, in that instant she remembered that she had not told anyone outside of Orion and Cadence about the pregnancy. She cleared her throat, screwing the cap to the water bottle back on. "I-uh. I can't drink anything stronger, unfortunately." Her voice was a murmur, and she averted her eyes from his gaze. Jasper and Cadence just lost their baby, so she was not sure how he was going to react at the news that she and Orion were expecting, more less having found out that their baby survived when his did not. She ran a hand through her hair, sighing softly. "I'm sorry about everything. I know you and Cadence are having a tough time, and I.." Grace knew that she did not have to apologize, but she felt the need to anyways. "..I just wanna let you know that if you need anyone to talk to, I'm here." She stood up from the bar, grabbing her water as she made her way into the back of the club, getting away from the constant chatter and music that was playing. Her head was pounding, and she was beginning to feel nauseous, despite the fact she had not had anything to drink. Grace leaned against the wall and sunk down to the floor with a huff, closing her eyes as her head rested against the wall.

Jasper Jasper nodded his sandy head at first, not truly comprehending what Grace's words had just implied, until suddenly... His eyes widened, and he almost...almost spit out his beer. Quickly swallowing the mouth full in his mouth, his blue eyes looked Grace up and down. She must be early, earlier than Cadence was, since she wasn't showing. "Congrats, Grace. That's great for you two." He couldn't help the pang of jealousy that surged through his veins knowning her and Orion's baby had just made it through this horrific event, and yet his hadn't. But then again, it was great for the couple. Life should be celebrated. And for Orion, this couldn't come at a better time. He was happy for them. The family would grow. That was important. Some cheer in all this dread.
Jasper shook his head as she apologized, he drank some more of his beer before he replied. "Not your fault, Ms. Grace. Don't be sorry. But thanks. You let me know if you need anything." He told her with a nod. And then he thought of something that was int he back of his shop he had been working on for his own. It deserved to stay within the club, otherwise he'd only sell it and it wouldn't be as appreciated."When you two start furniture shopping for the room, let me know. I think I got something you'd like." And then the woman disappeared to the back. A light frown hit his lips, but he shrugged it off. Perhaps she just wanted to get away from the noise, smoke, and prying eyes for a while. The day had been tough.
